Speaker 5 (01:03):
You know, college at for everybody, right, bro, But sometimes
you know trades like being a carpenter a glades are
putting windows and winning or working on agevac systems. I
know a lot of young men and women have went
into the AGEVAC injury industry. Well, programming Inglewood has a
new investment and potentially long term impact on the community.
So you know, HVAC systems are used to clean out
(01:24):
impurities in the air and stuff. And you work especially
restaurants or you know, lounges and bars. Well, Professor Harry Dabner,
who works with HVAC technicians in Inglewood and at the
schools like Kennedy King and so on and so forth,
said they've been lacking on resources. Well, a company stepped in,
Johnson Controls. They stepped in and they celebrated them with
(01:49):
a gift of three hundred and seventy three thousand dollars
for scholarships and costs for students to join AGEVAC programs
and over one hundred thousand dollars in new equipment.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
That's dope to train them and put more of them
out there.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
We need more h vackus.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yeah, and look at Johnson Controls, which is a major
h VAC company. They said there are more than two
hundred openings in the region. That's six hundred open across
the country. So you know, money yes, train and get
out of there. So the professor said, that's a win
win for us because good business and also we're helping students.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, I need a trade.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
I'm like, man, bruh, you know what I'm saying. Now,
speaking of that, let's talk about air quality. Where do
you think Chicago ranked in the nation for ozone pollution?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
What's my what's the range I got to choose? Let's
go is it like zero to one hundred or zero zero?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Let's go zero to fifty?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
And oh wow? In air quality control? Huh, we're probably
around what what thirty?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
No?
Speaker 5 (02:48):
No, yeah, we're actually fifteenth, the fifteenth worst in the nation.
I was surprised that a lot of cities from California,
we're in the top ten.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
So we're in the fifteenth worst, your fifteenth.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Worst here of around here at fifteen.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Well, I don't know if that's that bad compending on
how many people we got compared to where are the
bigger cities? You know what I'm saying. Well, I guess
I'm saying, what is the cities around us?
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Bakersfield, Bakersfield, California, Long Beach, California.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Detroit, and they're what six?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
These are like the top five.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, I don't think that's that bad.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
People as we have, I got less people, less cars
on the road.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
Now you're like this man, this seems like this is
something right up your alley.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Come on, Donald Trump is offering bonuses for new babies.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Why is that up my ass?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
You're like the hustle.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
In five thousand, the Trump administration has been evaluating raised
to centivize more Americans to get married and have more children,
and one of those incentives include a five thousand dollars
cash baby bonus to every American mother after the.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Delivery man you get two cartons of eggs.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
By the time you get two cartons of eggs and
get that one, sheen might happen because you just spent
thirty thousand.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Next you got lost.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
You might not. You might have the next Lebron roller
the dice, a big roll of dice. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Trump has endorsed the idea. Tuesday, he says America, Lebron
ain't here in America. It's lacking in families and age.
You know, China already is at all time though they're
offering people a lot of money they had kids because
they say their population is declining.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
But you know.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
I figured you you know the roll of dice get
you to that's ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
I'm cool you got in and do it.
Speaker 2 (04:34):

Speaker 5 (04:37):
Fifteen on the back. Hey man coming up. Leon's locker room.
NBA playoffs was fantastic and.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
His Draft night come on said, oh you need to
know in sports.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
I'm just here so I won't get found inside. NBA
actually was fantastic last night. The Celtics continue their winning ways.
They leave the series two zip. They beat the Magic
one on nine to one hundredwe uh, Jason Tatum got
a little banged up in that game. Just keep an
eye on that. H The Heat lose to the Cavaliers
one twenty one to one twelve.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Cleveland leads that series two zip, CAT.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Five and then a surprising uh victory, the Rockets beat
the Warriors one on nine to ninety four.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
That series is tied one to one.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
Jimmy Butler went out in the second quarter, I think
with an injury, went out early, and Golden State never
kind of recovers. Nope, that's a tough one games to night.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Nix and Pistons, who you got that series tied one
to one.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Nicks.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Okay, thunder Grizzlies. That's two zip. That's probably gonna be three.
I think the Grizzlies gonna snatch one out. Just everything
ONNAT sweat.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Nothing. Clippers. That series is tied one to one. Nuggets
are coming to La.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I got the Clippers again, got the Clippers again.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
All right, well we're excited about But before I get
to that, man, gotta go show some love to Hall
of Famer Steve McMichael.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
He passed yesterday. Man.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
He was a member of the eighty five Bears, one
of the Monsters of the Midway. He had als. He
got diagnosed als in twenty twenty one. He fought it.
He's passed away at the age of sixty seven. He's
second in the franchise history with ninety two sacks for
his career. So Steve Mango McMichael from football to being
one of the four Horsemen in wrestling, a Chicago legend. Man,
(06:35):
so hats him and his family. Hey man, the draft
is tonight. Come on, the draft is the night? What
we're doing, Zach.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
I'm fined up. We got the number ten pick.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Yes, we may move up and get gent You know,
I like gent So now if we don't, that's fine too.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
I'll take the tight end from Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
So mel Kiper has cam Ward going first to the
Tennessee Titans. You know, he's the guru, you know when
comes to draft. He has Travis Hunter going to the
Cleveland Browns. He has ob Dual Carter from Penn State
going to the Giants. Now let's go down to the Bears.
He has the Bears taking Tyler Warren from Penn State
(07:18):
to tight end. But he has the Aston Gentz, the
running back that you like, going to the Jacksonville Jackwise.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
But the Dallas.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
Cowboys have said they're open to trading up too to
go try and grab Johnty.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
They love him too.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Oh wow, okay, okay, we'll see though. Man, the draft
and we don't know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
And the good thing about the Bears, we really don't
have a specific needs.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
A lot of right we feel. Yeah, the offensive line
was the main thing. We did a lot of that
with free agency. You know, I wouldn't even care if
they added another one, just the security.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
We just get the best skill player available or the
best line and available I'm cool with it.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Check that million dollar quarterback that he got back there.
But I'm just excited. That means football is around the
corners and we are back.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Ryan, you're excited about your Dallas Cowboys this year.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Yeah, they didn't do nothing.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Cowboys fans been a little quieted.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Ain't because they ain't there the thing. They just sit
there and act like they won the Super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Now I do need I do need the Philly fans
to be humbled. Now now stay turned, to get home
because they talk.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
A little reckless.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
You know that they can't.
Speaker 2 (08:17):

Speaker 3 (08:33):
One O seven five w GC Out of Shots number
one five popping RnB You boy, Zach Bug. Let's jump
into it your z spot Entertainment Report.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Let's start off with Chris Brown.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Chris Brown is being sued for allegedly humiliating a woman
by posting her mugshot with devil music player playing. So
basically it's a lady named Angela Redford. She's accusing Chris
Brown of reposting a manipulated video to his one hundred
and forty five million followers all right. She claims the
clip includes a mugshot from a wrongful arrest, distorted audio
(09:06):
with devil music playing in the background, and a false
caption that suggests she had intended to harm Chris and
the dancers. So basically, it's a it's a video, and
it says Chris Brown stalker makes threats against his dancers
and crew, and in the video she was making threats.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
She was like, I can see how people kill.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
People where she said, where can I legally kill because
I'm coming for you mother as soon as I can.
She's talking crazy. Chris posted the video. These had issues
with the stalker before. She's nuts and is this the.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
One that broke into his crib and was sitting there
waiting on him that one time.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I don't think.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
I don't think that was hers everything. But she also,
I mean, this, this is just bad. This is bad, man,
And I just don't.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
What are you do in a situation like that? Though,
because Chris still.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
Kind of I'm not gonna say Chris from the streets,
but he has a mentality that he goes at whoever's
going at him, he goes right back at him.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
He just posted the video like this, This chick is crazy, right,
That's what he was saying.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
And then she now she's saw it. I mean, that's
anybody can too.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
But but I mean, did Chris put a little spice
on it or he just posted the video. He posted
the video, made the video, the video of somebody else
made the video together.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Chris just posted it, says Chris Brown.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Stalker makes threats against his dancers and crews, so he
probably saw the video.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
It was like, you know what I'm saying. So now
she's well, this is the world.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
She's making threats in the video. That's my thing is like,
you're you're not innocent.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
That's the world we live in at Criminals have rights.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
That's wild. That's wild. Also, let's jump into this. Michelle Obama.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
She spoke on her decision to skip Donald Trump's inauguration
on a recent episode of her podcast Listen to.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
This my decision to skip the inauguration. You know what
people don't realize from my decision to make choices at
the beginning of this year that suited me were met
with such ridicule and criticism, like people couldn't believe that
I was saying no for any other reason that they
had to assume that my marriage was falling.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Right.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
It's like, while I'm here really trying to own my
life and intentionally practice making the choice that was right
for me, and it took everything in my power to
not do the thing that was right or that was
was that was perceived as right, but do the thing
that was right for me.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
That was a hard thing for me to do. It
is I understand she's saying. She said, I'm tired of
doing all this.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
First lady as Hi, I have been doing this stuff,
going doing this for a long time.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
I ain't going this.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
I personally don't think I ain't going.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
I personally don't think Michelle got to explain myself to anybody.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Damn it, I ain't go.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I ain't going.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
I ain't gone. And it is what it is, y'all
take how of y'all want to? I ain't go. I
ain't want to be there. That man ain't never respected
me nor my husband. So what what I look like

I think she wanted to disconnect.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Two matter of fact, don't hurt today too.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Don't hurt him, just scam when you see him out,
go then, Leon Zach. So, last month, me and my
husband came up short on rent.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Things was tight, real tight, and I didn't want to
see us out here struggling or getting hit with an
eviction notice. So I did what I felt I had
to do. I called my daddy and asked him to
help us out just this. Once he came through, rent
got paid, and I thought everything was cool. But nah,
when I told when I when my husband found out,
(17:53):
he snapped, said I made him look weak, less like,
less of a man, and that now my dad really
gonna think he can't take care of his own household.
And here's the thing, my daddy already ain't been fully
on board with our relationship. From day one. He been
low key saying my husband wasn't good enough for me.
So now my man feels like I just proved him
(18:14):
right by going to my father instead of figuring it
out with him, like I went behind his back. But
from my side, it wasn't even like that. I didn't
go to an X or somebody out the blue. I
went to my father. I wasn't trying to disrespect him
or make him feel small. I was trying to handle
business and make sure we had a roof over our heads.
Now my husband, being real distant, won't talk to me.
(18:38):
The vibe is just off.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
I want to know.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Was I out of line or not?
Speaker 5 (18:43):
A six six, eight eight, five one seven five hit

husband and wife, they were coming up short on rent. Okay,
the wife went to her father and got the money
all right from her dad and then told her husband,
I got.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
The little real dad or.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yes, yes it's her real father.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
But the father had already thought that the boy the
guy was weak and wasn't good enough to marry his
daughter anyway. So now he like, man, you made me
look super weak in front of your father. You should
have said something. But she was like, hey, I got
the rent paid. I was trying to make sure we
ain't have no eviction notice over our head, and I
got stuff done all right. And then so she wants
to know what she out of line or is he
letting his pride get in the way?
Speaker 5 (20:05):
A six six eight eight, five one seven five. Let's
go to the phone lines. Who this where you're checking

about this situation that this young lady's in, so.
Speaker 7 (20:36):
As a married woman of almost twenty years, y'all, I
want to say this, I get where she coming from.
But at the same time, she needed to at least
let her husband know what her thought was to do.
What's to talk to her dad. I've been there, done it,
but I did let my husband know ahead of time, like, Yo,
I'm gonna talk to my father about this money and
I'm gonna get the money for you know, whatever the
(20:58):
case may be. I didn't just do it and I
say nothing. Didn't say something after the fact, because yeah,
that's don't make the man feel some type of way.
And honestly, as a woman, if my husband go to
his mom or whoever and say, hey, let me get
this money and then come back to me later on
to say, you know, I was able to pay. I
was able to make this happen because I went to
so so I kind of feel a little bit away.
(21:18):
You know, I'm not probably gonna be too mad a
long time, but it do feel some type of way
when y'all the partners is a partnership being married, and
then you go and do that and don't say nothing first.
So I get where he's coming from, and I hope
he can, you know, get past it. And I'll be
too upset with her and she made it happen.
Speaker 12 (21:37):
But I do say that, Okay, all.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Right, we got we only got an hour. We got
an hour in good afternoons lunch.
Speaker 7 (21:52):
Hey, I can talk about the fabling.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Shut up back, hey, man, geez.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Bottom line is that she should have consulted with her
husband before she went to her dad, because I get it.
You're a man of the house and if sometimes you
feel defeated when you can't do it, but at least
have the conversation when like, look, my dad can help
us out, or I present it away where it don't
make you look crazy, but you got it.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
You got to at least have a conversation that you're
going to your father.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
I don't know why y'all don't see a blessing when
you get one, that is a blessing that the rent
is paid. Take your blessing. Somebody was there to help you.
But y'all so worried about your own little ego that
you can't see us. Wait a blessing right now?
Speaker 1 (22:39):
That is a blessing.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
It's a blessing, but it's coming with judgment, so no,
no doubt.
Speaker 11 (22:46):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
If you don't want the judgment, then have the money,
have the money to pay.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
If you don't want to judge happened, humble yourself and
have somebody help you.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Then that's all it is.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
Somebody else. Start only fanst page and oh man, you
had it. I bet your daddy don't like that. You
knew your rent with We did what we had to do.
Start an only fans page. You daddy don't like that?
Speaker 1 (23:09):

back in the day when you asked somebody like Bill Lambille,
who wasn't athletic snatching your ass out the air?
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Lebron stopped. Man, that was embarrassing. Call it time out,
sit your goofast down.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Do you remember the Carter?
Speaker 13 (27:27):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (27:27):
With how I feel about when they come and remake
movies thirty years after the fact album. But I think
I think Wayne is lyrically right now the level he
can't when I hear him on other people's songs.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
I think he's gonna kill on his album.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
I'm not worried about Wayne. I'm worried about the beat selection.

your mainstay of our show. People love it okay, and
we want to bring you here as an intervention. You
know what I'm saying to let Chicago tell you how
(30:11):
they really feel about you and how they really feel
about you disrupting.
Speaker 5 (30:15):
The child and also find out what space are you
coming from, What is making you have a disdain to
see the enjoyment of other people of a child. That
you refuse to do that. Is it growing up on
the mean streets of oiland park Op? Does that have
something to do with it?
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Is it the mean streets of op? Maybe? Is it
going to produce? You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 5 (30:43):
What is it that makes you say, Hey, I don't
want these people to be happy, and this makes me
happy seeing them not happy.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yes, you, because we care about you and we wish
you the best. But this it has to stop.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
M h, it really does. And we want Chicago to
tell you theyself.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
And I want to hear fool you know it's not.
We just don't want the people attacking it. Ryan, Please,
I want the people look go ahead.
Speaker 9 (31:18):
First of all, I find it funny that nobody told
me the producer, that this is what the topic is
going to be.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Well, usually that's how intervention is working.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
You don't tell anybody we're going to have it.
Speaker 9 (31:29):
Find it funny that on therapy Thursday, you guys start
off with by saying.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
What this is a safe space? It does not feel safe.
But but but of all, why doesn't ask me to speak?
Why doesn't it feel accuse us and not give us reasons?
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Why does me to speak? And now I'm speaking. Do
you hear the voice Leon to us safe voice? This
is my safe voice.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
One of our clients about it, and she told us
that somebody has to want to go to therapy or
want to change.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
I never told y'all want to go to therapy or
therapy Thursday. So what you're saying is you have no
desire to change. I don't know why you fina.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
This is why we intervene. This is why intervention is necessarity.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Something my auntie didn't want to get off crack.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Is she still on it?
Speaker 1 (32:20):

the same.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Same for my uncle that did hear him, Yeah, he
never got off. He just pretended he was Jesus and
we haven't seen him since. But he has a connection. Yeah,
we just want to connect.
Speaker 9 (32:43):
I really don't think it's that big issue. I think
y'all are making it a bigger issue. I don't think
Chicago is well.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
We can hear from them because you're speaking for them.
