Speaker 1 (00:05):
Paul and Debbie from Minneton Garpling. That's what she said,
Thanks our friends at Minnesota Fresco. They've been married for
forty two years, they've got three kids, eight grandkids. Man,
forty two years, you gotta figure they're gonna get a
lot of these answers or questions.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Answers to their questions the same. They'll do something.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I'm saying, basically, this is the newlywed game. We ask
a series of questions to each of them separately. We're
gonna talk to Debbie first, and then we're gonna talk
to Paul and see how much their answers line up.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
All right, Debbie, are you ready to do this? Yes? Ready, Okay,
here we go. Debbie. Out of all the forty two
years you've been married to Paul, pick a year that
was the best. Maybe something from the nineteen hundred, something
from the two thousands, I.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Would say, that's see. I would say ninety one.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Why ninety one, Well.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
We didn't go on a honeymoon because we couldn't afford it.
So in nineteen ninety one, I think it was wait,
let's change the day two thousand, I guess, or anyway,
we he Paul planned a huge honeymoon to Hawaii for us.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Ninety one was rough two thousand made up for it,
so we're going to two thousand. Yeah, gotcha. Okay, that's
it was beautiful. Yea. I'll let you change your answer.
That's fine. You've been married forty two years. Argue with it.
You're great.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, you can do whatever you want, Debbie. Going back
to when you and Paul first met, what is it
that made you fall in love with him?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Well we have sent to humor obviously.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Well we'll see what that's all about here in a minute,
won't we.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Well, actually, and you know the sex.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Oh okay, it's a twofold answer. Grandma got you have fun? Yeah,
I heard. I heard your grand behind you.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
They were going.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Gama. Okay, you're right. No, in all honesty, hear, Debbie,
if you did all forty two years all over again,
give me one thing you'd change, and by the way,
you're not allowed to say nothing one thing that you
would change in your forty two years of marriage to Paul.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
I think is the only thing maybe that I would
change is I would have got my college degree earlier.
All right, very we could have made more money, but
I mean, it really didn't matter. We just had a
great time, loved.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Raising our kids. If you live life with the sense
of humor, it's great.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
As of this very moment, Which grandkid is the favorite
and why?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
And you can't say that they're all your favorite right now?
Charlotte Charlotte?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Why Charlotte because she's just funny, it's silly, and Jessie great.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
The other one's a little pins in the answer, Doug kidding.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Right now she's rolling your eyes in me.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Hey, Debbie, after forty two years of marriage, how many
times do you now give me a number? How many
times do you think you've kissed each other?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Do you have a calculator?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yep, I would say.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Probably ten times a day for forty two years.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
We're in radio or whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Good I hated fifty three thousand, three hundred. I'll put
you down for it. Let's get your husband on the phone.
See how he does here. W okay, okay, are you
too ready to play?

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Oh? We're ready?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
All right, Paul, Here you go, dude. Out of all
forty two years, we'd like to know which year specifically
was the best. Was it a nineteen hundred something? Two thousands?
You've been married forty two years? What was the best year?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Oh my god, it's twiss where we're at today.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Oh, that's so sweet, that's not so sick. Yeah, if
you can't tell, Paul, that's not what she said. But
I love it. She said two thousand because you weren't
able to do the honeymoon in nineteen ninety one, and
you kind of had a redo there in two thousand.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, you did a big trip to Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
That's super nice.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
It's fun going back to when.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
You first met.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
What do you think made Debbie fall in love with you?

Speaker 5 (04:06):
You know, you know what I think. I don't know
my wit and charm.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I'll give you that sense of humor. But she also
added one more thing that started with an S and
ended with an X and had an E in the middle. Cute,
but uh huh, yeah that has something to do with it. Well,
you're on the board here, Paul. Here you go. Now,
if you did all forty two years all over again,
obviously with Debbie, give me one thing you'd change. But

(04:31):
you can't say nothing.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I really would say nothing, but but I'll throw out
falling down the stairs and breaking my leg.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Oh that's that's that's that's not what she said. She
thought that was funny. She laughed at that she brought
it up. But she's like, oh, but that no, I
wouldn't said no.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
She said that she would have gotten a college degree.
Oh gotcha, as of this very moment, which grandkid is
the favorite?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
And why? And you cannot say that they are all
your favorite?

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Oh but but Sam, I think I can't. They're all
special in their own way. So each one is my
favorite grandson and granddaughter. And a hug from from Rosier,
a kiss from Charlotte and sentenced me just into into
cloud nine. And I can't listen them all because there's
eight of them. But you know, Liam, if he if
he says he called me Grandpaul instead of Grandpa, each

(05:28):
one of them is special.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Right, Paul, you're the best Grandpa.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Now here's the Grandpaul.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Grandpaul. I'll get an eighth of a point because he
got eight of them. So at one point eight, she said, Charlotte,
all right, Paul, after forty two years of marriage, how
many times have you two kissed each other? She did
give me a number.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Oh, it's got to be one hundred, one hundred and
eight thousand two hundred and seventy two. But we had
sex this morning, but I'm not sure, Paul, so yeah,
I think it's about one eight seven forty two.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Dude, you're you're off by about forty five thousand, and
you're a little low. She said, one hundred and fifty
three thousand, three hundred. But thanks for the info. No wonder.
You guys are sold so chipper today.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Oh my god, you guys are adorable and amazing.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Well. Did you enjoy the game? We did it.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
We're very fast.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
It was fast. Was this game faster than your game
you played this morning or probably.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
About the same?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Okay, under four minutes? That's good. Thank you both for playing.
We love you guys. Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
Okay, thanks, yep, thank you.

Speaker 6 (06:42):
So if I'm not missed, if I'm not mistaken, they
got one point eight right, I honestly don't everything else right.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
At this point.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
I just all your focus on that last one. I
have no idea. We apologize that offended anybody, but let
it inspire you. Forty two years of marriage and look
at what's going on here this morning, and that's just beautiful.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
That is beautiful, hilarious for them. Hey, if you want
to be on. That's what she said, just like Paulin
deb Ware after that reached out to us, send us
a message on the Chris Carrent Company Facebook page or Instagram,
just let us know that you want to be on.
That's what she said. It is a whole lot of fun.
We would love to have you on the show. And
you can get freaky weird like that.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Absolutely, we love the freaky weird and we love the
open honesty.
