Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of I Tell You What? Have
we learned anything? The three of us after this past weekend.
It's Chris Carr Company and Capital Too. We're in UBG time.
Have we learned anything? If you're going to Treasure Island,
go and have a good time. But you don't have
to drink everything everything in the bar. You don't have

(00:20):
to drink the bar dry before you go to bed.
That's what I learned.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Have you Have you been recovering from Treasure Island since
Friday night?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Pretty much? But I recovered a lot faster than my
bride really? Oh yeah, yeah yeah, but she's she's a
lightweight and I'm kind of a professional, so I mean
it was still it was a trust me. It was
a great time. It was an absolute blast.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I'm so glad that you guys had a good time though.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Trace Atkins and Travis Tritt are at absolute hoot. Love
them dearly. It was a lot of fun. Treasure Island.
The people are just an absolute blast. Anybody else learned
anything over the weekend? Oh? I know, Doves, Jeves, go ahead, Doves,
what did you learn?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I learned that putting together a gazebe the directions they
give you are worse than IKEI as directions. Really, yes,
I wouldn't think that. Let me tell you. We spent
an hour and a half on step three.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Was it written in English?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yes, but it was just.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
The way that they didn't label any any parts any
like the posts, like, hey, this is the outside, this
is the inside.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Okay, So this is like Lincoln Logs extraordinary. This is
like you know, normally you're playing with small stuff. This
is the real deal. And are you drilling into the
home or are you putting that?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
No, are you supposed to?

Speaker 4 (01:36):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
No, not at all?

Speaker 4 (01:38):
No, No, what supports it? It has concrete anchors, concrete Okay, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
All right, I'm just making sure, all right, So at
least you're not drilling into the home. You're not drilling
into the siding, so that's good. But you are drilling
into the concrete. Yes, all right, And and.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
We got the riff on. Everything's good to go. We're
just got to frame it and put the screens on.
But what did you what did you learn in a
good way?

Speaker 4 (02:02):
What did I learn?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
You're a di I wire? Now, my guy, I am
on the blank for you wanted to get there because
I think you were focused too much on the hassle
and the fatigue.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
It was because you. Robum started when we opened the box.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
He was sending me pictures throughout the whole weekend, and
I'm like, I was really proud of you. I mean,
I still am. I'm super proud of you. Man. I
just think that's great. So somebody had to know what
they're doing there. That wasn't easy.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yeah, uh no, that was my wife. She was the
project manager. She was like, hey, this park goes here,
this goes here. We're like, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
She is seems pretty dialed in, like about anything, Like
if you were stranded on an island or something, she'd
be the one that can figure out what to eat.
Oh yeah, what's poisonous and what's not that kind of stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
And did we learn anything over the weekend, Young Samuel?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I learned that a camper is definitely the way to
go at we Fest because I don't know how people
stuck it out in tents. I have a lot of
respect for people who's stuck it out in tents because
that Thursday night into Friday morning, no way, that storm
was hardcore.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Well should you have been in that? It wasn't tornadic
so I mean, I mean, yeah, if you were in
a camper, I mean, which is the trailer is like
the last thing you want to be in a tent
Obviously you don't want to be in that either, but
I think you survive a tent better than a trailer.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
I don't know, like the I don't know. It wasn't
like a tornado didn't form or anything. It was heavy
high winds, and they did suggest that if you had
a tent that you get into a vehicle for cover.
But I felt fine in my camper. I was like, listen,
I don't know. If things start flying around, I'm surrounded
by other campers and a truck, I'm like, yeah, I'll

(03:31):
be fine. I'm like I was mostly worried about tree
branches flying around. I didn't think it was an It
was bad enough to whip campers around, but I was
worried about like trees and things flying into stuff. But
I was like, I don't know, I'm surrounded by other
campers and vehicles, so they'll hit those first. I did,
But it was very intermittent, very like choppy. Because it's

(03:54):
on Thursday night there there's like all the music, which
is super fun. So your brain's kind of like buzzing
from all the excitement. And then Headliner's done, and then
everybody's partying in the campgrounds, which is super fun. But Hi,
I'm a pregnant lady. I wanted to go to sleep early.
So I go into the camper and I usually can
sleep pretty well surrounded by lots of noise, but there
was lots of parties happening.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Around my campers.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yes, and I'm super happy for all those people. Totally fine,
I'm not even complaining, but I didn't sleep super well.
And then finally it's like dies down around maybe three am,
and then there's this alert that goes out on everybody's
phones at like four thirty four to forty five am, and.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
It's like, there's the alert throughout all the campgrounds.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yeah, pretty much. It was like a National Weather Service
type alert, but it was specific to we Fest. It
said like we Fest blah blah blah blah, and it
told everybody to basically like, hey, heavy winds coming, seek
shelter if you are in a tent. Essentially and faithfully,
I mean I had the camper, but once that storm started,
I was like, this is louder than any parties were

(04:56):
going to be because it was very very loud between
like thunder rain win.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
How long did that last?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
A couple of hours?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
That long?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Huh? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
We looked and it looked like like a twenty minute
minute powerhouse of storms. I mean it must have.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah, the worst of it was probably forty five minutes
half hour.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Maybe. I think, well that's what leaving us behind. That
wouldn't happen had you not left us behind.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It was worth it. We fests a blast. I really
enjoy it, like I have a ton of fun out there.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
So would you do it pregnant again?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
This was as far as pregnant.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, the pregnancy part was totally fine.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Walking around on all that and I mean does the
hips and everything and they hold up?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah, it's funny. I feel less stiff and achy when
I'm moving around more. So that part was fine. I
think like, if I have a good pair of boots
on and I'm moving around, I feel a lot better
than if that's.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
My biggest concern was the heat and your hips. Yeah,
you've been talking about your hips, so maybe maybe you
just gotta keep them move Maybe we should get your
treadmill in here, all right? Yeah, Hey, we off. Yeah,
we should grab that that one.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, treadmill. Trust.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
I barely trust your walking on the b Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
It's funny.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
There's like I got to know a lot of like
the security people really well, and I'd chat with them
throughout the weekend. And there's like this one area where
we have to walk in the backstage part and I
would trip almost every time I walked through it. I
don't know what it was, but the people that are like,
are you good? Are you good? You doing okay?

Speaker 1 (06:26):
It's just a drunk, pregnant lay.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, they probably thought I was drunk because every time
those specific people in that area saw me, I was
tripping on stuff. I don't know. It's like there's some
weird slope going on and I just kept tripping. I
don't know. But if anybody's curious about what I was
up to this weekend, go to the Chris Carr and
Company Facebook page, Instagram, TikTok. Yeah, there's lots of giveaways

(06:49):
and I'll be posting somewhere today.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
I really wish you had them get the tattoo though, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
But how do you how would you do that? Is
there tattoo place? Right there.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Yeah, so they were waiting, and they were waiting to
get real tattoos.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, there was a there was a tattoo booth, which
is amazing.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
And so I, why not can we get the real deal?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Did you see the video? No?

Speaker 1 (07:09):
I had just heard about the video.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, so there was a tattoo the tattoo booth, and
I walked up to somebody and said, hey, where'd you
get a kiano two tattoos for Cody Passes right for
Cody Johnson meet and Greek Passes And they said yes,
I was not going to actually make someone.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Make him curse. The guy behind him goes, oh, I'll
even pay for it.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I'm like it, and then the other guy was like,
once I said you don't actually have to get it,
he was like, I'll do it anyway.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Because their sober is a whip up there, right. No,
I would, dude, I would have them. I wouldn't care.
I would tattoo that read across their forehead in color,
number one for New Country and the Best Variety. And
I didn't even throw in plus your all time favorites
with Chris Sam and doves in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
With flames around it. I don't know why to flame.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
And your home of everything from Garth Brooks to Morgan
Wall and Brooks done. I mean I just put every
and just put a whole line of it right down
his back. Just keep just keep cranking. I got me
all linked up. He missed the Cody passes, What the
hell I.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Do this for you?

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Oh my gosh, next year, next year? Oh yeah, absolutely?
What was your reservation there? Just he's gonna wake up the.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Next morning with make someone actually get it.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
You're not making anybody do anything. You're not making them.
They're making the decision.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
And think about it. Everyone's gonna go why do you
have a K one O two tattoo? Well, let me
tell you.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yes, that's how I got Cody Johnson passed. This pregnant
lady walked up to me and said, Hey, maybe it
could be some guy from like my not who'd never
even heard of the station. I don't know. I don't
even know what K what two means? What is it
a cleaning product? Just spray a little kwoo two on it,
just the grease just goes away. Well now I got

(08:53):
it on my face for the rest of my life.
But man, it was worth it. I got to meet
Cody Johnson. Somebody told me and I saw the pictures,
but I was too drunk to remember it.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Us. Yeah, it was. It was very fun. I really
enjoyed it.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
A good good good. Well I'm still I'm still drunk
from Friday night at Treasure Island. Nice doves are still
doves is hurting the unit today from putting together the
thing obviously, And you're you haven't slept and really days.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah, it feels like I haven't slept in months. I
really didn't sleep all like all weekend and then uh,
and then last night finally home, thought i'd sleep great,
Still didn't. I don't know why. I'm at the phase nowur.
I had to get up to go to the bathroom
like three times, and I woke up like every hour
for no reason. It's great.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Was the restroom and everything working in the camp Yeah,
camper was great. I remember when we had station campers
before it was like through a client or something, and
that we could use them, we could sleep in them,
we could use the ac everything, but that they never
hooked up the plumbing because they were like, oh no
new campers.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Yeah, so they never told me not to use the bathroom,
So no, you use.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
It if the water was working. It was oh, yes, yeah, yeah,
we still had to I want to use we could
use it for station stuff. But then had you out?

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Gotcha?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
But then I remember somebody being rather intoxicated, who was
not me in this, by the way, it was, but
I think I know who it was, came in and
forgot about the hol Day Hill and went into the
camper and dry dock dry doct They used the restaurant
without any running water, and oh, I thought, I just
yeah that what what a way to wrap up our

(10:23):
first It feels terrible. They took the camp back. John
Nelson was the promotions director. Who the hell's in here?
You weren't supposed to use the restaurants. Thank you for
