Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, straight from Pakistan to La to Boston in the studio. Man,
We've done a couple of zooms. He's in the studio
right now. Three one oh baby?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
What up?

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Man?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Man? What's good? Man?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Welcome in Man?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
How you been good?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
How you feeling?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Bro for a new artist? A couple of records back
to back to back. You got three hits in a
row and that's nationally. I know LA's got a couple
more records of yours playing because when I come out there,
I hear you all over the place. That's not normal.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yeah, no, it's not not at all.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
How are you feeling everything? How are you liking everything? Man?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Man, I'm just I'm grateful, I'm appreciative, but I'm motivated
to keep going.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Yeah. I know, last time we talked to you were
actually about to graduate high school. And now that you're done,
if things didn't pop off the way it did right away,
what was the plans after high school?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I probably was gonna end up going to school for
like business or something, trying to figure it out, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And continue being in the studio at night kind of deal.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yeah, I mean I never really was in the studio,
but yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You never really was in the studio like that. What
do you mean?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I was on my phone recording? Wow?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
And then how did the whole connection with this empire, Empire,
legit Empire come together? How did you guys all connect? No?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, my manager Gentry already worked the Empire, so it
was like home team.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
And okay, so learning all this doing it on your
phone is completely new to me. So how did that work?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Like the process of me recording?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, like and then you got it like mastered that
way and everything too.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
No, Yes, I would record the vocals on the phone
and I'll you know, send them out to get mixed.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Now, how is it like for you running around man? Like?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Oh yeah, working world now working?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
No, I mean I'm seeing different places, like this is
my first time being in Boston. Yeah, and where I'm
from a lot of people don't get to go this
far or see this side of the world.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Well, you know, rock your Hips is in power rotation
out here. It's been out here for power rotation for
a while. Do you know what that even means? She
needs it gets played a lot. You know, when you
were growing up as a kid, when you hear the radio,
you're like, why do they play the same songs over
and over again? That's you right now? Are you okay
with that?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Of course? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Now it's amazing. Do you learn? How are you learning
the radio side of things too? Because you're eighteen years
old from the streaming nineteen I just turned nineteen, sorry,
happy birthday nineteen. You come from the streaming world. Why
is the radio so important to you?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
DJ's are always going to be important. They're the ones
playing the music because I mean, yeah, we can look
at our phone or stream or swipe on social media,
but when it comes to like being outside, being in
the clubs or going to different shows, you're gonna hear
the DJs playing your music. You know, you should show
them the same respect to show the platforms.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Right nice, I appreciate that. Man with three one o
babies in here right now. Last time we were graduating
high school and we were talking about you know, you
like partying and you like girls, but that wasn't the
case with you. You wanted to see the world and
you want to try good food. Is that still the case?
Are we try to party now?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Now we're trying to keep we're trying to keep going up.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Man, You're like i'm working. Yeah, is that a distraction?
Do you think?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
I mean, when it's already my job and I'm getting
paid to do that, I don't really have to do that.
When I'm like like them, that's a choice, you.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Know, all right? All right? Well, three one o babies
in here right now, So you're you're gonna be hitting
some towns up in the future. That's gonna be. You know,
this is the first time in Boston, so I know
you have a club run tonight, but you're gonna be
eventually coming out here and doing shows. So I want
to get you ready for the Boston cities because you know,
when you shout out Inglewood, Compton, l A, north Ridge,
the Valley, we got little suburbs around here too, So

(03:09):
I want to make sure you're you're on top of
what these city names are, all right. So without telling
you how they're pronounced, you're gonna pretend you're on stage
right now and you're gonna be like, yo, what's up,
and you're gonna say the name of the city, all right,
and then we gonna see if you get it right
or the wrong. Right all right, coach.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh, this is easy right here.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
The first one, hold on you're on stage with that mic.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah, what's up Boston? Make some noise?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Hey? Okay, oh, what's up?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Leo? Leo Minster? Hold on? That can't be pronouncing the
other way.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Okay, now wait, hold on by teaching, because you're gonna
get it wrong. You get stuff thrown at you.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
What's up Peabody, Let's go back to Lee. What's right Peabody? No,
the other one?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Leo Minster? Okay, so it's Lemonster all right, see I
got it now see now I'm just I'm an adapt.
Hold on, okay, what's up Fitchburg?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Fitchburg? Okay, you got that one.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That's good. What's up?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Womb socket woom socket? It's wo socket wool socket? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Why is it in here?

Speaker 1 (04:05):

Speaker 2 (04:08):

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Letters?

Speaker 2 (04:10):

out right, try it again. Wor Worcester, worsh Worcester. It's
what's that?

Speaker 2 (04:49):

Speaker 1 (04:51):

I still have a hard time. What's that? Say it?
Come on? What's that?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
What's Cambridge Chamber?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
There you go? Now the two separation is Boston and Cambridge.
They're literally like a mile away from each other, but
they're not one, all right, So you got to shout
out Boston and Cambridge separately, all right, otherwise they get
really mad out here for some reason. Okay, all right,
you got one.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
