in who I am and in my artistry, and I
feel like I'm really coming into my own. I feel
like this album really reflects that and kind of shows
off all those sides in me, like classic Tiinaci, but
also set's have grown and evolved Tinache as well. So
I hope that everyone loves it. Well.

You definitely talk about growth, man.

I mean we've been together for a long time now,
and you always stick with your gut when it comes
to your songs, like too on, Remember how long we
worked that record to like Nope, we're sticking with it.
We're sticking with it, and even with Nasty Bro. We
started playing that Matt early and then all of a sudden,
you know, it started connecting. But a lot of people

don't do that anymore. So I'm so glad you do that.
What takes that in you to keep pushing on?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, I mean I think I got that famina. You know.
I feel like, you know, just being in this industry.
You know, you're it's long games. This industry has so
many ups and downs. You got to focus on long game.
You got to focus on your legacy, you know. But
I think those are the important things as an artist,
you know, just knowing that there will be ups and downs.
It is an adventure, and you know, just sticking it out,

not getting too caught up in the day to day
little things that make you feel like, you know, this
is successful and this is not successful. Just have that
tunnel vision, right.

And you know, on the other side of it, from
the radio perspective of it. I love that you do
that because then these songs become recurrence and we played
for a long time, whereas these these other songs that
come and go, and you're like going back to the
old records from Tanash, from Drake, from Chris Brown. You know,
like it just goes back to these older records and
there's nothing fresh in you anymore. Because people don't stick
with records like you just did with Nasty So good job.

On this album Met You, you talk a lot about growth,

Yes, exactly. I think I'm just empowered, you know. I
feel just so confident and like grown and like in
my element, and I feel like so the songs kind
of reflect that confident energy, you know.

I look better all natural. I love that you say
that because we've always said that behind the scenes out
how you've like obviously you know you're a beautiful girl,

feel in the last I don't know a decade or so,
there's been so much pressure, you know, to change ourselves
to conform, whether it's plastic series or whether it be
editing photos online. It really is something that you know,
I've taken a lot of pride in hopefully being someone
who can be a good example for like young girls
to just like be yourself, like enjoy your what makes

you you, own your body, own your face, like that's
all what makes you special and different. And you know
I'm keeping natural yep.

And your actual blessed anyway, so it's a little easier

have a broke mentality. So I feel like there's a
lot of other ways that you could be broke, or
