The George Washington Hotel is celebrating their 100th year in Winchester with a concert series! General manager Suzi Smith tell us all about it!

With me right now is Susie fromthe George Washington Hotel. How are
you, Susie. I'm great,Chris, Thanks for having me today.
I was so excited about this concertseries you've got coming up this summer,
Orleans, your Stull one, andthen john Ford Coley and Firefall. So

what is this all about? Whyare you putting these concerts together? So
this year is the hotel's one hundredthanniversary. We opened in nineteen twenty four,
Oh my gosh, and we areso excited, and we wanted to
do something exciting to celebrate and somethingthat we could share with the community and
just really open our doors. Welove music and we decided to go for

it. I'm so glad that youdid. These are great bands. It's
going to be a lot of fun. So if you don't mind me,
I'll just go down the list here. Orleans will be April sixth, john
Ford Coley will be July thirteenth,and Firefall will be October nineteenth. And
I am thrilled about this because Ireally do love the kind of group together
and they're called yacht rock anymore,right, I really love that. It's

a good way to unplug and justreally enjoy. Every song's a great song,
and I'm just blown away you couldget such great bands. So the
