Parenting Habits That Other Parents Judge
  • Letting her kids run wild in public - Some moms let their kids climb on furniture, run around stores and yell in restaurants, and they definitely get the side-eye for it.
  • Pretending that her kids are perfect - We all brag about our little ones, but no kid is perfect and acting like yours has no flaws is bound to make people roll their eyes.
  • Over-posting her kids online - There’s nothing wrong with sharing milestones of your family’s life, but documenting every little thing can be too much.
  • Letting her kids interrupt adult conversations - Kids deserve to be seen and heard, but that doesn’t mean they should be constantly interrupting people talking.
  • Using her kids as an excuse for everything - Sure, life is hectic with kids, but they can’t be the reason you’re late for everything or always back out of commitments.
  • Publicly shaming or harshly disciplining her kids - Hitting, shaming or embarrassing your kid in front of other people is emotionally damaging.
  • Ignoring her child’s bad behavior - Enabling your kid when they misbehave isn’t doing them any favors. If you don’t correct them when they’re rude, aggressive or entitled because you think it’s okay for your child to behave that way, don’t be surprised when people judge you harshly for it.⠀

Social Dilemma On IG
Lauren on Instagram DMs writes: My boss follows me on social media and likes my old photos, sometimes comments on vacation pics, and even once referenced a post during a meeting. It’s never been inappropriate, but it’s starting to feel a bit invasive. I want to block or mute her, but I’m afraid it’ll cause drama or negatively affect my job. Is there a professional way to set boundaries on social media or do I just have to live with it?

Second Date Update

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Rihanna in more Variety for the two thousands, the nineties,
and today it's Star one on one three.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's Marcus and Corey five point fifty nine.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Hello, Corey started the morning off right, Yeah, I did
teaching me some sign language. Not appropriate, not appropriate sign language.
So you learn sign language from your mom?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
My mother was training to be an American Sign language
interpreter and the problem was she ended up dating her
teacher and then when they broke up, she didn't finish
the course.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Oh my god, best she doubt us all the dirty words.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
So one of the things that Corey does that makes
me laugh the most, and I'll have there. There are
a half dozen things that Corey does that I'll be like,
do the thing, do the thing. So one of them
is her impression of Chris Farley, which we're not going
to do right now because we don't have time, but
we'll save that nugget for another day. One of the
other ones is I have her sign me what BS

(00:49):
looks like. Y'all know what bull s is the sign?
Anybody who knows sign language knows what the sign for
BS is and it's hilarious. Can you describe the sign?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
For bs.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Well, you're gonna make the hook'm horns right like it's
like it's a bull, and then you're.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Gonna have your arm out and then you know your
other hand's gonna be releasing from the back end.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
It's it makes My morning is made. And it's barely
six o'clock.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Can we post that video where we get in trouble?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I don't know, look it up. I don't think we
should do. That's not appropriate. It's maybe we could black
out parts of it. What's the point.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
It's hilarious. My morning is made. I don't even care
how your night was.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
I'm not kidding. How were you good?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
We're doing something kind of I don't even know what
you'd call it. But every night we search for something
to watch, you know, I streaming because we have these
streaming platforms, and we were doing not even the deep dive.
We've gone back to the beginning and we're watching We
watched Raiders of the Lost Dark on Monday night, and
we watched Temple of Doom last night.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
We're gonna go through all of the Indiana Jones movies.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
See the classics always hit you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
And it's so cute to see that little boy who
was in there as his sidekick, who is also in Goonies.
And then I just watched a movie with him that
came out in twenty twenty five that's on streaming, and
he's tremendous.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
He's a full grown man. Yeah, and a great actor. Yeah. Anyway,
well that's awesome. I like that. What did you do?
What happened yesterday?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I was doing errands and then I got home and
I was out of gas for dinner. One of the
greatest food finds in my area is I can order.
I can call a local restaurant and get two kids
burgers to go, and to save money, I don't order
myself anything because we have food at home. But the
girls get the burgers and they're the same size as

(02:42):
the regular burgers, but half the price.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's very weird. That is weird. So I save a
little bit of money.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
And then as I was driving away, I'm like, Marcus,
you're so cheap because I don't get anything else.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I just get two kids burgers to go, and they
don't get fries or anything. They have fries too. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, but then my child had volleyball, so they had
to get home and eat really quick, and that was
that I don't get to sit and choose which movies
I want us on my streaming platform.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Oh, this is after Jeff made delicious barbecue.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Chicken lovely way. Uh, we're here.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Coming up in a few minutes, we're going to talk
about things that relaxed people do. That's at six point
thirty if you want it, a little primer on relaxing,
and then coming up next, we found this article things
that moms are silently judging other moms on right?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Are you guilty?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Right?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Talk about that at six fifteen Hang on well, variety
from the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's Star
one on one three, it's Marcus and Corey. It is Wednesday,
time for a self audit midweek. Okay, things that relaxed
people do on a regular basis.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I'm probably not going to be familiar with any of.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
These stress hits all of us.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah, there are some people will always seem relaxed even
when stress is happening.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I admire those people so much.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
You may think it's just personality, and it is to
a certain extent, but there are practices that people who
seem relaxed all the time just do okay, And I'm
pretty good at most of these, but have not always
been this way.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Number One on the list. People seem relaxed all the time,
shake off self.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Doubt, self doubt like I can't do something.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I doubt I'll be able to pull that off.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I'm not good enough, I'm not handsome enough, I'm not
smart enough, I'm not funny enough.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I think I've gotten past that as I've gotten more mature,
in the sense that the only person who.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Can bring you down is you.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yes, same for me, And I don't know if a
light bulb just went off at a certain age. But
these days I'm just like, Eh, I was always afraid
of all those things, not being good enough, not knowing everything,
not having all the answers when asked.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah, and now I'm just like, how do you do
what now?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I have no idea. It's so liberating. Do your best.
I mean, I know, I still do my best. Not
everybody doesn't know everything, you know what I mean? Yeah,
here's another one. Relax.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
People own everything that's happened to them. That's what we
talk about. Those big words that you hate, the internal
locus of control, the psychological concept. It says I am
in charge of me. I am in charge of how
I feel, and I am in charge of the things
that happened to me. I cannot blame anyone else, any
outside forces for things that I allow to happen to me.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I don't blame outside forces for things that happened to me.
What I do results in what happens to me.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
You've never said the words this happened because they did this.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
This happened because you did this time. I mean I
was younger, Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I mean probably yeah. But that's something else you learn
as you grow, is that only you.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Can control you.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
On that note, master their mind. I don't exactly know
what that means.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
I don't either, but I have a hard time mastering
my mind because once my mind starts going and I
start having weird dreams or weird thoughts, I can't stop it.
It's like it's like a river that just starts gushing
all the way through my brain.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I learned a new concept and knowing Corey, I didn't
realize some people when their day is over and they
close their eyes to sleep, like you close your eyes
and the movie keeps playing in your head. Oh yeah,
I don't have that issue.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Am either replaying something that happened that day, uh huh,
or I try not to do that because there's nothing
you can change.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Or I think about what I need to do.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Today or tomorrow and what needs to get done, and
how's Jeff doing, how's Jeff's job, how are the dogs?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
How's my family?

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Well?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I just I have empathy. It's something you're not familiar with.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Are the things that people who are relaxed to do on
a regular basis. They refuse to indulge in drama and
they accept people as they are.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I like good drama. I don't like bad drama, like
juicy fun gossip. I think there can be different levels
of gossip where you're just having fun telling stories but
not actually hurting anybody.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
What about accepting people as they are, Corey Foley, Well,
it depends on what type of person that is.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
What if they're wearing crocs, are you accepting them?

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Are they a chef? Are they nurse? No, it's not that
I'm not accepting you. I'm just judging you.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I can accept that you're wearing cross the same thing
your honor, but I don't respect you from wearing crocs.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
People who are relaxed pay attention very closely to their mood.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
How am I feeling today? Okay, I do that.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
It's good to be weird, Like I know what kind
of day it's going to be. If I feel like
my hands are shaky while I'm doing my eyeliner and I'm.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Like, nope, today's is the next day. Oh It's a
lot of truth. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
And when I feel overwhelmed, I'm like, let's nip this
in the butt instead of worrying about it all day.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Sure you're not the only one.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Finally, people who are relaxed ask one question every single day.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Remain curious. Is what I read from this?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Anyway, Just wrapping it up, there you go. How are
you on the list? What do you struggle with?

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Let us know?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Leave us a talk back if you don't mind. It's
the little red microphone on the iHeartRadio app. If you're

Lady Gaga hit the stage at Chase Center last night
and the videos are amazing. She even did a tribute
to Ozzy Osbourne with the final bow of the show.
If you go to the Star ig all of our
video look amazing.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
We have a couple up right now, so we have
the tribute in case you missed it. And then I
love the outfits everybody wore. I just posted a video
of Corey dancing to Bourne this way in the studio.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
I'm even to apologize right now. It's going to bring
you life. I don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
The fact that you sacrifice your self respect for this
show was my heart.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
No dignity, there's no dignity anymore.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Rumors about a Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson romance are
flying after the UK premiere of Naked Gun. So it's
not a redo, it's a reboot. Liam Neeson plays Frank
Drebben's son. They were on the red carpet when Anderson
leaned over and kissed Nissan's cheek. He had his arm
around her back. They held hands.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Oh this is happening.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
So now there are rumors. I can't confirm or deny
that there are a couple, but there are rumors.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Interesting, let's see, let's go to sports really quick, because
I'm getting really excited about football. Yeah, we're only like
days away. In fact, forty nine Ers mini camp started yesterday.
The Fellas look good. And I just I'm juiced, Go Niners.
In advance, the Giants wrap up a series against the Braves.

(14:13):
That's going to be the third game is going to
be this morning, so just be aware nine to fifteen
start on that because obviously it's on the East Coast, right,
so that'll be first pitch, and then they are starting
a home series against the Blue Jays this weekend.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
We'll have an Orange Friday, Go Giants.

Speaker 5 (14:27):

nineties and today it's Star one on one three, It's
Marcus and Corey.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
It's another day of second Date update, y'alls.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Everybody deserves love in their lives, It's true, and we
want to help you secure that second date. We're going
to figure out what went on during the first dates
and if there's reason why you're getting ghosted.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Bring it on. Brad, Good morning, Brad, Hey are you guys?
Hey man we're doing all right.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
I understand that you're kind of old school, so I'm
what I'm reading is that you you and Trina met
online not really your forte Yeah, tell us about it, Like,
how did this all unfold? Because I understand she's ghosted.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Yeah, she's uh, she's vanished.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Crazy.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Yeah, well I'm not. I'm not used to the online dating.
But I figured i'd try it out. You know, I
figured if I was gonna do it, if I was
gonna do it, I was gonna take it seriously because
I want to, you know, commit one hundred and ten percent.
I am old fashioned and traditional, so it's a little
a little out of my comfort zone kind of. But
I I found Trina on the site, and she was

(15:43):
everything I'm looking for. You know, she's put together, accomplished matures.
She looked kind, you know, everything I wanted in a woman.
So I knew I had to bring my a game.
So I took her a nice dinner, old school style.
I don't know what I did wrong, to be honest
with you, I was just I was trying to make
sure she had a good time, and the holy thing
was pleasant. Everything was perfect, and she ghosted. I don't

(16:04):
know it was very out of nowhere, and I'm just
I'm trying to get some guidance going for I don't
know what I'm doing wrong.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
That's what we're here for.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Okay, here's what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Fill me.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Trina is an actress and stumbles into a bookstore where
she meets the owner, and a chance encounter overspilled orange
juice leads to a full blown affair. However, it's a
struggle for the average bloke, you know, the average bookstore
owner and the glamorous actress just trying to figure it
all out.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Ooh ooh, I'm just a girl standing in front of
a boy asking him to love her. It's weird when
you do it.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Notting Hill, Yes, get good at this, Brad patiently standing by.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yes, why don't we find out what really happened? Brad,
let's call her together. Can you can you hang out
for a song?

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Yeah, yeah, sure, we'll help you out.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Man.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Hang on the line, all right.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
It's it's Second Date Update Star one on one three
for the two thousands, the nineties, and today it's Star
one O one three. It's Marcus and Corey doing Second
Date Update trying to help out Brad with his date
with Trina. She has ghosted. So Brad is quite obviously
cut from a different cloth.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
He's an old school guy.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Well he's not huge on the apps. Sure, and that's okay.
It could be a whole new world for people, Brad.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
We don't want to talk about you like you're not here,
No kidding. You ready to make this phone call? Yeah, okay,
let's call Trina and figure it out. I'd love to
get you a second date. Go ahead and mut your phone.
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Hello, Hi, may speak with Trina please?

Speaker 7 (17:40):
Hi, This is Trina.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Hi Trina, It's Marcus and Corey from Star one O
one three.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Good morning. Oh hi, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 7 (17:49):
I'm good? How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
It's the inflection of recognition. We're good. Do you listen?

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Are you? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Excellent? Do you like second date update? I?

Speaker 7 (18:04):
Yep, I do.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Okay, I would like to be a part of it
on the show.

Speaker 7 (18:12):
Oh no, okay, yep, okay.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
So I mean we're all adults here, Brad, are you there?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Come on in?

Speaker 8 (18:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Hey, hey, okay, So Trina, Brad really liked you. He'd
like to take you out again. He seems very sweet.
How is the date for you. Yes, Okay, he's feeling ghosted,
so so enlighten us.

Speaker 7 (18:38):
I'm so sorry. So the date it was just a lot.
It was a lot for me, Okay, So I think
I'm just used to and kind of like what I'm
looking for is just like just kind of casual, right,
like get out there, get to know people, and you know,
just keep it easy, keep it light. And Brad super sweet.

(19:02):
But he like he showed up with a big bouquet
of flowers and then he was also like he said
that he would have brought chocolates but he wasn't able
to get to the store, and I you know, that's
not like what I'm looking for. And like the first
time we've ever met, you know.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Was it to intense?

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Sir?

Speaker 7 (19:21):
Yeah, it just was the whole thing. Like it was
like super nice dinner, but like he did all the
stuff like held my chair and the flowers and was
like so kind of insistent on like this like kind
of gentlemanly vibe, which is that's great. It just made
me feel like it was all too intense and it
was too much, and like I'm just looking for kind
of casual, you know, and more relaxed.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
I mean it's definitely.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
I mean some people are more formal, some people are
a little more casual.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Right, Such a fine line, isn't it. I mean he
liked you. I could defend my guy for a sec.

Speaker 7 (19:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
Yeah, I'm just you know, look, I'm sorry. You know
I brought flowers. I mean, it doesn't like flowers, you know.
I mean, I would rather day some kind of jerk.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
I don't know, you know, I'm.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Just trying to, yeah, my best best foot out there
and be you know, chivalrous.

Speaker 7 (20:07):
It just felt like a lot and kind of like
too much pressure. It was just kind of cringey.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
How about can you pump the brakes a little bit, Brad?

Speaker 5 (20:16):
Yeah, yeah, I can do that.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
I feel like a problem.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
You get no gifts. Yeah yeah, you can do your
own share. You know, you can open the door for yourself.
I know you're able to do all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
So yeah, go ahead, Trina, I just listen. You tell
me if I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
But I feel like maybe we have a little self
awareness now, and sometimes guys get really excited.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I know, I did ask my wife, what.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
If he pumps the brakes, creeze it down? A couple
of notes we give Brad another shot, like did you
like him?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Did you like the date?

Speaker 7 (20:45):
I mean, he's he's super nice, Brad, You're super nice.
I just I feel like, I don't know, you know,
I'm a big believer of like first impression. You are
kind of like first impression's best impression, and I just
kind of feel like I'm not super interested in trying again.
Like maybe I'm just like not the right girl for him,
you know, all.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Right, hang on, my guy friend zoned himself in real time.
You know.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I think it's kind of sweet, But I guess it's
not everybody's cup of tea.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
It's just a fine line, I guess. Anyway.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Second Date Update seven oh five weekday mornings. You replace
it nine oh five. Of course, we've got the podcast.
It's on the iHeartRadio app, So set a preset and
then you can binge listen to all the calls again.
Marcus and Corey. Second Date Update with Star one oh
one three and more variety from the two thousands, the nineties,
and today. It's Star one O one three. It's Marcus
and Corey. Good morning, It's Wow. Wednesday. We saw something

(21:43):
on uh Instagram. On Instagram, this chick Laurence. She wrote
she doesn't want to be friends with her boss.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
It's a social dilemma. This is what Lauren says. My
boss follows me on social media and likes my old photos,
know what to do sometimes, comments on vacation picks, and
even once we're referenced to host during a meeting. It's
never been inappropriate, but it's starting to feel a bit invasive.
I want to block or mutter, but I'm afraid it'll
cause drama or negatively affect my job.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Oh I see, I thought it was a dude. Oh
you know that was like follow you mispronounce the word creep.
Is there a professional way to set boundaries on social media?
Or I just have to live with it?

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Now?

Speaker 2 (22:22):
You can go the route my husband does. Uh huh
no social media. Oh no, we can't do that.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Can you imagine if you walked into our boss's office
and you said, you know, for privacy reasons, I've decided
not to have any social media.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Just might as well turn in my resignation if I'm
gonna do that.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
But this is interesting because every once in a while
I'll find somebody like liking my stuff on the socials,
and I'm like, who are you?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
And if it's your.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
Boss, you kind of gotta just go with the flow,
don't you.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yes, if you accepted them, Yes, as a follower, like,
for example, if you have a public account, it's not
on lockdown and they just followed you. When you put
it as a public account, you're saying anybody can follow me.
I mean all of our bosses follow us.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
How well they're monitoring? Yeah, gigs.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Have you ever had a boss that you would not
want to follow you on social media?

Speaker 5 (23:16):
No?

Speaker 1 (23:16):
I don't care enough, but I'll flip the script on you.
I did try to friend a boss on Facebook and
he never friended me.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
That's interesting.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
But he friended Sandy, your predecessor. We both friended him
at the same time. He friended her back and did
not friend me and I and we talked about it
openly on the air.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
And he still didn't friend it.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
I don't think he was listening, but I was like
openly butt hurt on the air, and she was openly gleeful.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I'm sure.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
The thing is, though, you have to be concerned about
what you post if your boss is watching, because I
remember one time one of our interns was like, I'm sick,
I can't come in and then cut to her pictures
of her in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yeah, I mean that, you know, you gotta be mindful. Yeah,
so I listen, Lauren if that is indeed your real name.
So we're talking about this girl who posted on Instagram
that she social dilemma, that her boss follows her on
social media, likes the old photos, talks about them in meetings,
which is I find.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
That weird, like referencing my social media and a meeting
with my coworkers.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
I don't think there's much you can do about it.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Like, you know,
are you friends with your boss on socials? Do they
follow you? Is it weird? Does it get weird?

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Can you turn your account private after the fact?

Speaker 2 (24:37):
You can? You can block.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Them, Oh, but then they'll know she could block them,
But then they'll know.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
So passive aggressive. I had it happened one time.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I was doing an afternoon show and you know, we
had traffic reports, and I ticked off the person who
did traffic for me. I said something rude to her,
what I know, crazy right, and she unfriended me on
Facebook and didn't say anything.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
That's the passive aggressive way to do it.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
And then so I called her out on it.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Not on the this isn't on the air any Yeah,
and she goes, well, you were being a jerk, and
I said, okay, that's fair, but why didn't you just
say something?

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Because it's more Sometimes it's a little satisfying to block somebody.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
So to me, this Lauren thing is, this whole thing
is passive aggressive, Like what do I do?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
I don't know what to do. Well, you shouldn't have
accepted them as a follower. You should have just ignored it.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
But then what happens is the boss comes to you
and goes, hey, I've followed you on Instagram?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Are you gonna accept?

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Accept at my request.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
You could look at them in the face and go yeah,
I don't do that. I don't like to cross those boundaries.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
I just think, be mindful of what you post and
just suck it up or get a new job, because yeah,
I mean yeah, straight up.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
If you kind of pass the point of if.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
You have a counter argument or think differently, or maybe
have a nugget on this, let us know, use the
talk back on the iHeartRadio app. If you have a moment,
we would love to put you on the air. I
know we have a lot of listener with a lot
of wisdom, would love to hear what you think. It's
the little red microphone on the iHeartRadio app. If you're
streaming Star one on one three right now. More variety
from the two thousands, the nineties, and today. It's Star

(26:10):
one on one three. It's Marcus and Corey. It's Wednesday morning.
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Let's do this. It's time for good news with Marcus
and Corey one.

Speaker 6 (26:22):
Sometimes all you need is one good thought to make
it a great day.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
So let's do this.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
It's good news on Star one of one three.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
So we gave a good news twice in morning seven forty.
This is a short one because nobody's gonna be surprised.
But this is a story of a of a hero dad, Yes,
saved his four year old.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
From a mountain lion. This is so scary, Oh scary.
You ever watch the videos of you know, your hiking
and then like a bear is like following you, yeah,
or a cougar and then I can.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Never remember what you're supposed to do because it was
a brown bear or a BlackBerry's supposed to do different things.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
One of them is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (26:58):
One type of bearer, you're supposed to make yourself this
big as possible. Another type of bearrig you're supposed to
lie down and play dead. Really, oh yeah, it just
depends on which one it is.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
I didn't know that. I thought you just make yourself
as like. It's counter into it if you make yourself
as big as possible. No, I would rather run and hide,
which is the last thing you want.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
And there's something you shouldn't run from either. Crazy.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
But so this is a story of this family is
hiking in the mountains in Washington State and they encounter
a mountain lion who attacked the four year old little boy,
and dad just intervened, just intervened, Got do this. Nothing
else you're gonna do I'd be doing a second, would
even hesitate, that's dad instinct exactly. And the young man

(27:40):
got airlifted to Seattle totally fine and.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Thanks to dad. That's really cool.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Quick story. That's our good news. If you ever have
good news to share, let us know. Yeah, you know,
it could be that, it could be a good Samaritan story.
It could be maybe your kids doing big things out there,
helping to change the world.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
We're all about it.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
