Speaker 2 (01:34):
Will must be the last time they ever talked?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Go Morning? Kiss in the mornings? Second date updates.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
I'm kiss ninety five seven, aren't you guys?
Speaker 5 (01:42):
We are going to merit in this morning? A second
date update? Like heading into the holidays? Wouldn't it be
nice to make a love connection.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
He's so cute?
Speaker 6 (01:49):
Oh yeah, I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Well listen, Sarah's on the line. Sarah had a great
first date. She's getting ghosted. She wants answers.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Good morning, Sarah, Good morning, a welcome.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
To the show, Sarah Tella. It's all about this fantastic
first date you had.
Speaker 8 (02:02):
Yeah, so we were on a first date to this axe
throwing place where you train to throw axes. I thought
we were having a great time. I thought the connection
it was flirty, it was fun, and now I'm not
getting any text back.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
Okay, So you go on this date, you go ax throwing,
you're flirting, you're attracted to him. You send him a
message like a text message, and he doesn't respond.
Speaker 8 (02:27):
Yeah, like we have like an exchange back and forth
after the day, and now it's nothing. It's radio silence.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
Did you dress like a lumber lady, by the way,
that would be good?
Speaker 8 (02:37):
That a turnoff?
Speaker 6 (02:38):
Well no, no, no, no, actually that's a turn on
for me. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:41):
No, I didn't dress like a like a lumber lady.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
Listen, Walmer's dressed like a dress like a lumberjack right now,
and he doesn't chop wood.
Speaker 9 (02:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
No, you didn't bring your own acts to the ax
throwing pigeon. That might be a stuff. I don't bowlers.
Did they bring their own balls?
Speaker 8 (02:59):
I didn't. I don't have my own acts on hand unfortunately.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
Okay, all right, so this is it just sounds like
a like a straightforward ax throwing date. Good time, and
you're getting ghosted. I'm gonna call Austin up and I'm
gonna ask them to be honest. You're gonna be listening
in at any point. If you want to talk to
Austin or confront him, you can.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Okay, okay, all right, make the call.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Jeff is responsible for dialing the numbers. I'm surprised you
actually get it right. Yeah, I'm actually shocked that we
haven't accidentally, like called the wrong person.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
Me too, surprised.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Hello, Hi, is Austin there.
Speaker 10 (03:36):
Yeah, this is Hey Austin.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
It's Courtney Austin. It's Walmart Jeff.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Hey Austin, it's Savannah and we're calling from KIS ninety
five to seven.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
You're on the radio this morning, Austin, I'm.
Speaker 10 (03:46):
On the radio.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Yes, okay, okay, Well here's the deal, Austin. We have
a future called second Date Update. Somebody goes on a
first date. It's fabulous, but they get ghosted after the
first date, and they want answers. They call us, and
that's why you're on the radio this morning.
Speaker 11 (04:02):
Okay, sure, okay, Well.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Listen, I guess I should fill you in. Sarah called us, said,
you guys went on a great first day. Uh, and
she's getting ghosted. You guys went ax throwing. It was fun,
great conversation. She felt a connection and she's reached out
to you. But you have not responded yet. Is there
a reason? What's going on?
Speaker 11 (04:21):
Yeah, there is definitely a reason. So Sarah's like, she's great.
Right at the start of the day, We're having a
good time. We go ax throwing, and she was. She
was great at axt throwing.
Speaker 10 (04:35):
Definitely great at ax throwing.
Speaker 11 (04:37):
But okay, every time it was her turning, she would
yell out a name like not my name, not any
name I recognize, and then throw the act and she
would like scream it okay all the anger you know,
you could muster in person. So she was doing that.
Speaker 6 (04:57):
And can you give us an can you give us
a an example of the screaming.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
Yeah, like an ex boyfriend's name, or like what was
she doing saying?
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Was it her boss?
Speaker 11 (05:06):
Be like Terry, I didn't throw it.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
That's not that bad.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
I don't like I would yell a name if you
if you really wanted to hit the bull's eye and
something like your boss's name, yell it, toss that act.
Speaker 10 (05:19):
You could like see the life leaving her eyes, like
she was just full of psycho mode. Like it wasn't
it wasn't funny, It wasn't like a joke to interrupt.
Speaker 9 (05:30):
Yeah, that's outcare you call me a psycho?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Sarah's on the line, Austin. I should have let you
know that, but I didn't.
Speaker 9 (05:37):
Okay, great, How dare you call me a psycho? This
is something that my therapist told me to do. It's
it's how you get your anger out. That's how you
get your rage out, and that's you don't even know
what I've been through. You don't know what I've been through.
You don't and if you wanted to get to know me,
you would ask me questions.
Speaker 10 (05:54):
Okay, this is kind of psycho right now, so you're
not helping yourself.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Go ahead, Savannah.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Okay, wait, so tell me more about this therapy, like
what what exactly have.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
You been through that brings you like rage therapy?
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Yeah, to like throw axes and scream people you.
Speaker 8 (06:09):
You missed or reps of the anger.
Speaker 9 (06:11):
So it's not going towards the person that you're with,
it's going towards And why do you honestly think that
I would take an ax out on you?
Speaker 8 (06:21):
Is that your fear?
Speaker 9 (06:22):
Do you think that I'm that kind of psycho?
Speaker 10 (06:25):
I wasn't saying that. I'm just saying that you were screaming.
Speaker 11 (06:28):
Out people's names, and.
Speaker 10 (06:31):
It wasn't It was like people were very off putting,
to say the least.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
Who are the names that people you're throwing out? Were
they like exes?
Speaker 8 (06:42):
No, they're not all exes. They are people that have
I felt wronged by.
Speaker 10 (06:46):
They're not all exes. Okay, that's like, so I'm we
buy them an X someday.
Speaker 11 (06:51):
I'm gonna be the name on the act.
Speaker 8 (06:55):
That depends on if you won't would have wronged me?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Okay, I.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
See what I see how this could get misconstrued.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
She's directing her anger somewhere else.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
But maybe we should try a healing bowl instead of
like ax throwing in rage rooms.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
That might help you a little more.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
I don't know my anger was directed towards Okay, Okay,
all right, Well usually I offer to pay for a
second date, but I feel like it's probably there's some
sort of misconnection here where Austin.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
You can't get past the fact that Sarah was like
screaming names and throwing access.
Speaker 10 (07:32):
Yeah, definitely, all right.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
And Sarah, would you not? I mean, I don't think
you'd want to go on a second day, right, not.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
After learning what I've learned today?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Now, Okay, all right, well listen, and then I just
I appreciate both of you being honest and open, and
I'm glad you're taking care of your rage and anger
Sarah by going to therapy.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I think that's awesome. And Austin, we wish you well.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
