Karen went on a great first date, but now she's being ghosted. She thought she made a great connection, and there was a lot of chemistry. She wants to know why he's not responding to her request for a second date.

You clearly went on a great first date and you're
getting ghosted.

Yeah, and I really don't get why, because like we
did happy Hour and it was kind of a blast,
Like okay, I don't really know, well, I don't know
what happened.

You know what I like is the producer says the
date you went on, his name is Kenny, Karen and Kenny.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
That kind of flows.

As a couple.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yeah, it's like a good couple named Karen and Kenny.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Right, it's so cute. We're like the new Branddelina.

It was so good, Like we sat we talked for hours,
like a long time, and it was happy hour, So
we got got a couple of drinks, some appetizers. But
I texted him to say thank you for the date
because he paid, but I didn't get a response and
like to anything, not that night, not the next day.

So I don't really know, Like that's really it. That's
all of our communication.

What did you feel like there's any flirting on this date?
Like touchy feely laughing?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Oh my god, totally. Yeah, we were so flirty. It
really felt flirty.

At any point during the date, did you ask to
speak to a manager or did you send your food
back or drinks or anything like that.

We have a feature here if somebody goes on a
first date and it's fabulous, but they get ghosted after
and they don't know why.

Okay, well that's good. Yeah, here's the deal, Kenny. Karen
call said, you guys went on a great first date.
You actually went and you had happy hours. She said,
there was a little bit of flirting, a lot of
things in common. She reached out to you to thank
you for the date, and you didn't even respond with
the thumbs up or nothing.

How was the date for you? We just want you
to be honest. Was the date? Did you have a
different experience than Karen?

Speaker 7 (03:20):
Yeah, it sounds like it. The date was really weird
and draining. WHOA, Okay, how so, I mean I think
she's great, okay, but it's clear that I don't know
if she's like ready to date because why most of

the date she talked about her ex boyfriend. I mean,
you know, I am, I feel for her, but just
the first time meeting her and really going on a
date was it was a little bit like, whoa, this
is very strange. I don't know.

I wasn't on the date, so I don't know to
what extent.

But I once was talking to a guy and like
I don't know, like a day and he started like
dumping all like the stuff about his ex, and I.

is way too much, way too soon.

Right, Yeah, And it's like I get it. We've all
been there. It's just if it's too soon, then it's
too soon.

So you think she's not over your thing, is she's
not over her ex? Is that the problem?

You think that she still has feelings for her ex
if she was crying?

I mean something, Can I just say something because like,
I'm sorry for crying, Okay, but I just I honestly
thought that it was a good thing to show some
emotion on a first date. I'm to show that I'm

I am sorry that the crying may have been too much, perhaps,
but like I just think it's a good thing to
show that, like I have feelings, I'm a human being.
I'm not just a robot like like people have emotions.

a good thing. So I mean I get that, and

little more time where you can like tell if somebody
asked you, how is you know your dating history or
who did you date last.

I just sometimes people cry, like that's not something that

I don't think this is going to work. But either
