Yes you want to go?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, because because I'm not going to make that show.
Oh yeah, I bought original. I originally bought tickets to
go to that show. In fact, I bought because I
don't like standing up at the house.
Speaker 6 (02:05):
But anyway, around the same time that I bought those tickets,
the guys from Hard Not Stay, a couple of them
invited me to go, uh to see them at the
Deep Album Arts Company. And all these guys are going
to be playing the music of Bad Finger.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Oh oh, no matter what.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
This is the crown to the crown if you will,
of Dallas musicians. These guys have put them together all
the songs of Bad Finger. In the past, They've played
George Harrison's. Just recently at the Arlington Music Theater or Hall,
(02:56):
they played Quadraphenia all the way.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Oh hey, Bo, can you show the people on Facebook
Live which one is the bad finger?
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yes, but it's very handy to use on bad people.
Speaker 7 (03:14):
And Jim White knows exactly what Bo's doing right now,
we don't have to explain a damn thing.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I couldn't resist. I'm sorry, Jimmy, you were saying.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Well, one of the guys that is going to be
part of this is a former member and he sometimes
fills in for Hard Night's Day. His name is Chris Holt. Now,
Chris has caught up the ladder in the music industry.
He worked with Mike Campbell on Dirty Knob Oh Yeah,
(03:45):
and he was guitar guitarist for Don Henley's solo.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Band Yeah yeah, Chris Holt.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, Chris Holt uh. And just recently because the Eagles,
like backup guitarist had to kind of because of medical
reasons stuff down, Don Hendley papped Chris Holt to play.
Yeah the Big Story a couple of days ago and
(04:15):
the Dallas Body News there was a small article about Chris.
It was called the luckiest guitar player in Dallas.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
And yeah. So so all these musicians, I think Bo,
you know, Trey, Yeah, Trey is going to be there.
He's part of this. Another musician Paul Everett, who's part
of Hard Night. Oh yeah, I know, sure, But Paul
plays with a number of other people around the country.
(04:47):
He's in the demand musician. And so about ten to
twelve guys are going to recreate the music Bad Figure
on Sunday nights at the Deep l Arts Company.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Well, I would join you, but I gotta go see
my Buzz and Zab.
Speaker 3 (05:03):

also mention this while we're talking about the great Chris Holt. Chris,
in the midst of all this stuff playing the Sphere
with the Eagles and everything else he does, he also
has his first.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Solo album ready to go soon.
Speaker 7 (05:26):

party date off the top of my head, but I've
got it marked.

On my social calendar.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
It's a Friday night.
Speaker 7 (05:35):
And it's coming up soon, and it's something really great
to do. This guy blew us away, you know what,
Jim Just year before last I heard him on a
talk station and they put him on because they went
to his Facebook page and discovered that Chris had performed
the entire Dark Side of the Moon.

Wow, well he must have had some recorded good stuff.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
They don't it's an exact date, but it's May of
twenty twenty five, so coming up shortly, and apparently new
original songs performed entirely by Chris hold himself on every.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
Instruments like Prince.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, he plays all the instruments on Idol Records.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
And they're going to have a showcase of his music
where where he's got all these musicians that in friends
that he knows, are going to recreate the album at theater.
I think May seventeenth or something.
Speaker 5 (06:31):

it was a Kessler show.

It's a Saturday Saturday.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Okay, that's I'll play time.
Speaker 5 (06:39):

that the two of you can.

it goes over, you win.
