this as well?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
I think that I am. I normally would not say
if you were to if I were to be walking
down the street and you would just walk to me
and said, hey, excuse me, sir, do you have allergies?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
I would never do that.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I would never pretend okay, I would say to you, no,
I don't have a problem. But these days I would say,
I think I do, yes, because I've just I've been
sniffling a little itchy. Yes.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
All the trees, Yeah, in my neighborhood, I could they've
got the whatever on them where you could see the
pallen right falls to the ground with whatever's falling off
the trees.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
There's pollen on the car. Even perk.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
My dog has allergies, looking her feet, it's the whole thing.
Her ears are so it's like I think, with the
warmer weather, everything's blooming. Yeah, it is spring after all.
So if you have allergies, I guess safe to say
you're not alone. We've got them two here.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I guess you got to take the good with the bad.
You got the blooming flowers. But then you also, you know,
got to blow your nose every now and then.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
It's a price you pay for beauty.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, we're at eight seven seven nine eight one, nine
eight one, seven thirty five this morning. That is your
next chance to win those tickets to go see Cindy
Lapper at the Toyota Pavilion at Conquered in August. That
is going to be a great show. Think about how
many hits Cindy Lapper has so many and you know
all the words to all of them, you could be there.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
So be here at seven thirty five, and be here
also at eight twenty because we've got more tickets to
see World San Diego. This is a four pack of tickets,
two day emission tickets, and then we're throwing in that
one night hotel stay at Paradise Point Resort and Spa,
which again is right next to the park, so I know,
walk next door and enjoy your day.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I feel like almost everybody that's won this week has
had exactly four people in their family. Two right, it's
for the two adults and the two kids. So yeah,
that'll be at eight twenty this morning, and of course
at six twenty five, we've got the morning Breeze brain teas.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
All Right. The number of girls doing this has doubled
between the years twenty twenty and twenty twenty five. Girls specifically, yeah,
specifically over the past five years.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Girls not women, So girls like younger.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I think you can lump women. You can put women
in there too, Okay, girls slash women. The number of
girls and women doing this has doubled from twenty twenty
to twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Okay, eight seven seven nine eight one oh nine eight one.
That is how you reach us Morning Breeze brain teas.
That's at six twenty five here at Louise, here on
ninety eight point one, the Breeze. It's the Morning Breeze
with Carolyn and Court and let's do it. It's time
for the Morning Breeze brain Teas. Brought to you by
Mike Counsel Plumbing. You're in clean hands. With Mike Counsel Plumbing.

(02:56):
Visit them at mc plumbing dot com. Today's question the
number of girls doing this has doubled between twenty twenty
and twenty twenty five. Okay, we are at eight seven
seven nine eight one oh nine eight one.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Elisa in Santa Rosa. You're listening with your mom this morning,
and you guys have a guess.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Influencer stuff?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Oh, being influencers? Yeah, I'm jen Z.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
So yeah, well you're you're the generation where you can
actually grow up to become a influencer. That was never
an option for you and I care her. Yeah, And
as much as I love that answer, it's not the
correct one this morning.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
That was a really great guess though.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Okay, you guys, thank you for listening, and have a
good day, Happy Friday. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
We love listening to you.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Okay, we're going to Anna in San Francisco. Now you've
got a guess. What do you think it is?

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Cooking? My daughter, I guess. One of her electives that
she has to choose for going into seventh grade was
a quest class. And I asked her why she wanted
to do it, and she said, I keep seeing people
cooking and TikTok. Yeah, yeah, she wants to do that, so.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I think there's a big trend back to it. TikTok.
And also I know in the schools, like a lot
of those programs, the home economics type stuff went away,
but now they're bringing that stuff back.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I love that.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Oh that's so good. That's a great cast, Sanna, Is
that the answer.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
It's not the answer we're looking for, but I don't
want to say it's wrong because I really like that
answer and it's probably true. Here's the answer. Okay. The
number of girls wrestling has doubled between twenty twenty and
twenty twenty five wrestling, high school wrestling, and college level wrestling.
It's doubled in the past five years.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Never would have guessed that one.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
There are so many sports now that girls that we
didn't get to do when I was young and in
high school that now girls do, which I love. You
probably experienced that too, right, Anna, Oh.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Yes, definitely.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
When I was in high school, there was a girl
who wanted to wrestle and they allowed her to, but
at that time she can only wrestle other boys. She
could wrestle boys. Oh, really and so it felt strange
at the time, but she did it and she was
really really good. Now they're actually women and girl wrestling leagues,
so it's a little more you know, one to one
and yeah it's pretty great.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Oh wow, that's wonderful.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah yeah, well, Anna, we hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you for listening. We really appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Oh you guys have a wonderful day as well. Thank
you so much. Okay, bye bye bye.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It's the Morning Breeze Brain teaes and we do it
every weekday morning at six twenty five here on the
Morning Breeze.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
And we want to remind you that coming up this
morning at seven thirty five, that is going to be
your next chance to win tickets to see Cindy Lauper
at the Toyota Pavilion at Concorde and August.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
People are so excited about these tickets. Yeah, it is
her farewell tour and we would love to send you
for free. So be here seven thirty five your chance
to win on the Morning Breeze. No mistaken. Stevie Wonder
here on ninety eight point one the Breeze. I think
he plays the harmonica more than sings that song.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Court said that off the air, and I thought about it.
I'm like, I think you might be right that.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
I actually went to Google and google searts what the
ratio of her mony to harmonica? Because he's doing ball,
he's singing and playing their monica. It's just like it's
all Stevie Wader.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
What is the ratio?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I couldn't find it. I love that song though, so much,
so great. No matter what the ratio is, I know
it's it's super good. It's six p forty. You've got
the morning breeze with Carolyn and Court.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
And it's time for ask us anything.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
A chance for you to call us up, say Carolyn, Court,
I want to know blank blank blank you fill in
the blank.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I want to know what the ratio of singing to
harmonica is on isn't she lovely?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Clearly we can't cut that answer for you this morning.
But anything else, we don't have the answers to everything, though,
feel free.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
To ask us.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Today's ask us anything comes from Monica in Livermore. She says,
I love your show. I listen every morning on my
drive from Livermore to San Francisco. That is quite a
drive doing the five eighty commute Monica.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
She said she's excited about the great weather in the
Bay Area and the weather ahead this weekend US too.
I want to know what's your favorite way to spend
US Saturday. Ooh, good question.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, mine's super basic.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Just chilling with my family, like with no real agenda. Oh,
maybe we'll go out to dinner. Maybe we'll barbecue something
out on the deck. Yeah, just no agenda, but just
everybody's there.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Oh my gosh. That's great.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
And having teenagers that like to be super busy that
just when they're not is really special.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
See on the opposite, I need structure. Yeah, so I'm
I wake up early on Saturday mornings just because anybody
that's listening now, you get up early too, so you
get it right. Like sleeping in for me would be
six am, right, but I usually get up around four
thirty or five.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
You'll sometimes send me emails on the weekend super early.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Sorry, I gotta get stuff done. Sleep in, girl, No
I can't. I can't, And Perk gets up it anyway.
I like to get up and I cook my food
for the week and I get it done. On Saturday,
I start my laundry. I do them all my things
so I can get it out of the way, so
I have the weekend free to do whatever, and then
I'll see friends, Like you know, probably tomorrow night, I'm

(08:00):
getting together with some friends having some Margarita's out on
the deck.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
It's gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Yeah, so that's that's typical weekend.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
How we like to spend our Saturday?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yeah, so great question, Monica, Thank you, and we would
love to hear from you. Eight seven seven nine eight
one oh nine eight one. How do you spend your Saturday?

Speaker 1 (08:17):
We've got this question on our Facebook page as well
at ninety eight one The Breeze Don't forget coming up
this morning seven thirty five More chances to win Cindy
Lauper Contra tickets as he hits she hits the stage
at Toyota Pavilaut Conquered.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
I was just thinking about all the hits that Cindy has.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Her, she's one of those artists for me that like
her slow songs and her up tempo songs are equally great.
You know how some artists they're up tempo. I like
their slow songs better. They're up temple, not as.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Big feel better at one thing than the other.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yes, Cindy is not that she's great with all of them.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
So be here at seven thirty five year chances to
win tickets to that show. Here on the Breeze and
it is the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and Court. You
know by now that every Friday morning, at this time
we bring you the Morning Breeze Person of the Week. Yes,
and these are people that you have nominated that are
in your life in one way or another. Maybe you're
super close to them, maybe they are just an acquaintance,

(09:09):
but they've done something really great that you.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Feel like needs to be highlighted. And that's where we
come in to help.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
That's right. This week our Morning Breeze Person of the Week.
Drew was nominated by his mom Martina. Martina tell us
about Drew.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Drew was my oldest son. I have three boys. He
is working out of school. He works a special needs kids.
He's really a baseball umpire and he does his degree
in psychology. But he started working there that he became
a dad. Recently, his baby is just six months old.
That has just you know, his passion for helping these
children has just grown so much he's only one of

(09:45):
to male teachers there, so the teachers reach out to
him a lot because he's really good at working, especially
with the little boys. Yeah, he does work with with
some children that are nonverbal. You know a lot of
times you have kids that just very sort of violent,
so they hit. So he really tries to work with

(10:06):
only the teachers, with the parents and and helping these
children because you need to understand how to work with
them to be able to help them.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
So it's just it's a lot.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
To do, and you know, having the little guy, but
it's been amazing to see the passion that he has
for helping these children that it's hard. A lot of
teachers don't go into this profession because it is very difficult.
And the kids always give them, you know, they draw
little things for him and little cards, and it's really
cool to see.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
I'm sure as his mom, you must be so proud.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Yes, his passion of becoming an umpire, you know, professional umpire.
He feels like now that that's not important enough. You know,
what's important enough now is that he helps as many
children as possible.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
So we just got Drew on the other line.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yes, and Martina, why do you tell your son, Drew,
why we're calling today.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
So, Drew, this is so, so, so incredibly exciting. I
know that you pour your heart and soul into the
school and the children that you work with, the children
with special needs. So I hear your stories, I feel
the passion. I reached out to the Vega station because
Carol I encouraged with this awesome thing where they select

(11:21):
the person of the week, and I recommended you for that.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Is that right, she did?

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (11:27):
Well, I appreciate that. At the end of the day,
it's not necessarily such a I want to say, it's
a rewarding field, but you don't get the reward all
the time. But it is really cool to know that
you know that I'm being recognized for that too, because
I actually am starting a master's program to help, you know,
give myself a little bit more credentials with the special
education field. So it definitely is really cool to be

(11:50):
recognized in that manner. Providing a positive environment for people
to thrive in or students to thrive in and learn from.
I think that's that's the best that I can do.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Man.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
So, like I really do appreciate you guys for the shot. Now,
thank you mom, Like, yeah, I appreciate you, Mom. That's awesome.
I love you. Thank you so much for this.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
And Drew, there's one more thing.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
We are also going to award you brunch for two
out on the bay. We're gonna get you out on
a city Cruises boat. You get to go out, have
some good food and take in the sites, take a
morning off to just celebrate your awesomeness.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Drew.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Oh, my goodness, just too much.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
That is awesome. That is so great. Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Guys.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
That is amazing.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Oh you are so welcome.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Well thanks for I mean, it's like an understatement saying
thanks for all you do for the community. But truly,
like the kids, the community, your mom, like you affect
so many different people in so many different ways.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Drew.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
But like you said, we owe it to your mom.
She's the one who nominated you.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Oh yeah, you know what, I can't. I give everything
to my mom. My mom is uh my, she's been
there since day one, you know. Like I said, I
couldn't be more blessed. So thank you so much. I
really appreciate you and I love you so much. You
guys are you guys are amazing. Thank you so much.
For you know, just recognizing me. I think it's a
it's a true blessing.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Okay, you guys make it a good day. Thanks again
for listening.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
If you have a Morning Breeze person of the week,
we want to hear about them. Get your nominations and
tell us what they've done that's so special, kind of
like Drew.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
That's right, and you can make that nomination on our
website ninety eight one The Breeze dot com.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
There is a list that came out that frankly, this
list comes out every year, but it's never not entertaining.
And these are the most unique items that are left
behind in Uber this life, of course for this previous year.
And the things that make this list always amaze me.
How either left behind, Like I don't know how somebody leaves,

(13:50):
for example, a Viking drinking horn behind.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Well, why is the drinking part of that thing? Might
be a might be a key factor here.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Also in the backseatn Uber a club promoter sign reading
Annie's married, right. I feel like that's just the club
promoter saying I don't want to carry the sign around anymore.
I'm just gonna leave it, like that's not a mistake.
Leaf behind, I.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Mean, it could be, but we've all left something behind somewhere,
whether it's in an uber or somewhere else. Everybody you've left,
you've left something behind before, haven't you. Of course?

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Well have you left a chainsaw behind? Because that apparently
was left in an uber? Here's my question about chainsaws.
And by the way, like most unique items like this
has happened more than once. Right, if you're an uber
or a lyft driver, and we know we have a
lot of you listening to us, and thank you by
the way for having us on. Yes, you see somebody
getting into your uber or lyft with a chainsaws? Are

(14:47):
you taking that ride or are you all of a
sudden out of service? I would insist that the chainsaw
go in the trunk, has to go in the trunk.
But yes, to your point, Court, we have all left
stuff behind. I can't think of anything off the top
of my head, not after I've read Viking drinking horn
chainsaw in a club promoter sign.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, I don't have anything that is anywhere near as
exciting as that, right. However, I did recently leave a
hat on an airplane. Oh and it was one of
my Giants hats, and I had taken it off because
I kind of overheat when I fly. Take off the
hat kind of let off some steam and make it
everybody else prob I set it down on the side

(15:25):
and then got off the plane and then realized after
I had gotten off and it started to walk away,
shoot my hats in there. And then I thought, man,
the hat's a couple of years old and it's kind
of kind of sweaty and gross.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Time for a new one. Anyway, I just left it.
Make that somebody else's problem. Good job, Corn, that's a
great story.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Who knows do they throw that hat away? Do they
put it? Did they send it to goodwill? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Maybe some Southwestern Airlines employee is rocking a new Giant's.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Hat that's slightly used. We're a lot used.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
We're at eight seven seven nine eight one. Have you
ever left something behind of significance and did you get
it back? It could be an uber, a lift, it
could be a plane, it could be anywhere.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
We want to know.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
You can always send us a message with our iHeartRadio
app that talkback mic.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
And coming up in just a few minutes seven thirty five.
Your chance to win tickets to see Cindy Lapper at
the Toyota Pavilion Conquered in August. Would love to send you.
So we hear seven thirty five your chance to win
on the Morning Breeze. It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn
and Court and congratulations your collar ten. You now have
tickets to Cindy Lapper.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
No way, yes, I.

Speaker 7 (16:29):
Can never get through.

Speaker 5 (16:30):
Oh my gosh, I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I'm Teresa.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
I can't believe it.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Oh, your hard work's stayed off you.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
I love the station ninety when the breeze, that's all
I listened to.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
That is so nice of you. Well, we've got two
tickets for you. You're going to see Cindy Lapper Toyota Pavilion
at Conquered.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
It's August twenty six.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
It's courtesy of Live Nation and in celebration of the
Pavilion's fiftieth anniversary. You can get two tickets for fifty dollars.
That's happening tomorrow only at the Pavilion's box office.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
So congratulations, Teresa.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
I'm right down this tree.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
It's perfect.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Oh my gus track and.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
I carry this ingrevery morning. You're both entertaining.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (17:15):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn in Court.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
We were talking last hour.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
A list came out of the most unique items left
behind in ubers for last year, and just you can
imagine random things on the list. Top of the list
was a Viking drinking horn, yeah, which I have a
lot of questions about that, but that was followed by
a chainsaw.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
The chainsaw one is the most bizarre. I don't know
how you leave a chainsaw.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
I don't either, And again I asked the question, if
you're an uber or a lift driver and you see
a passenger getting into your car with a chainsaw, do
you take the ride or do you just say you
know what you.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Dip out, that's what you should do out. I'm busy.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Sorry, we're at eight seven seven nine nine eight one.
We have a message on our iHeartRadio app, a talkback.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
Message Michael from San Francisco, Happy Friday. I have been
driving for Uber for over ten years and I can
tell you right now what is left by passengers. By far,
the most is water bottles, and I had no idea
how expensive they could be. So everyone, don't forget your water.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
You know what court.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
While Michael was talking, I was thinking those yetti water
Oh yeah, I'll bet those get left behind.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Those are super expensive and.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
LEAs that are super popular right now? Yes, those are
the big that's the big popular one right now.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
It first when he was saying like water bottles, I'm
thinking aquafina or like some plastic bottle.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
No, like the good one, like my awalla one over
here my daughter got me for Christmas. I think this
is like a forty or fifty dollars water bottle. That's crazy. Yeah,
I wonder what you like as an uber or lyft driver?
What do you do with those things?

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Because they don't it's not like it has a name
on it or an address, and you're not let's say
you're not sure what passenger it came from. Do you
just now own those water bottles? Or like what happens
with that stuff?

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Yeah, because I don't think you know uber or lyft
drivers or are doing a quick inventory of their vehicle
after every single right drive that they do, and they
are often doing dozens a day.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
I know we have a lot of ride shair drivers
that listen, tell us what you would do in that case?

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Would love to hear from you.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
We're at eight seven seven nine, eight one oh nine
eight one coming up in a few minutes eight twenty
this morning. That's your next chance to win those tickets
to SeaWorld San Diego.
