out your your talent survey that we get here at
iHeartRadio and The Breeze.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
I actually did it last night.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Why because you know the question where it says, of
the following fast food joints, which are your favorites? I'm
checking every single one.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
I checked a lot of boxes too.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
So behind the scenes, our corporate has come to us
and said, hey, we want to know your interests.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
And so they've asked all.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Sorts of different different sections, different topics, and one was
fast food. And I thought, well, I'm not going to
answer any of these because I am healthy. And then
I was like Jack in the Box Yes, McDonald's Yes.
And I realized the same thing.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Corey, Oh yeah, Crumble Cookies, Culvers me too, or Culver's, Dairy, Queen,
Dave's Hot Chicken, Del Taco, Duncan, Dutch Bros. L Poyo, Loco,
Firehouse Hubs.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
I did all those all ring true. I guess it
did them all last night.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I wish there was just like select all because I
know that's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
There's Domino's Pizza.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
If you'll hear Court or myself on the air within
the next I don't know, a couple of months talking
about any sort of fast food, you'll know what came
from that survey. That is really funny and it was
a very eye opening moment as well, John.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Ba Juice is where I like to go get my smoothies.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Hey, I checked that box two eight seven seven nine
eighth nine eight one.
Speaker 1 (01:29):

chances for you to go see Cindy Lapper at the
Toyota Pavilion and conquered in August.

Lauper eight twenty for SeaWorld.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
On the Breeze at Louise six twenty six.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's Shaka Khan on the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and
Court and let's do it.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Let's get it started.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
We're talking about the Morning Breeze brain Teath, which we
do every weekday morning at six twenty five, and it's
sponsored by my Council Plumbing. You're in clean hands with
my Council Plumbing. Visit them at mc plumbing dot com.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
It is said we walk around with about a half
pound of this in our bodies at all times.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Eight seven, seven nine eight one oh nine eight one
is how you reach us with your guesses. It is
Debbie and Nevado. You are up.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
First, Food in our bellies, Food in our bellies. Oh yeah,
undigested food. I could see that a half pound.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I feel like for me that number full disclosure just
amongst us would be about triple that.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
This is the same place I likes my food.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not sure exactly how much undigested food
we we've got, probably depends on the time of day,
but not the answer we're looking for.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
But Debbie, thank you for playing and hope you have
a good day.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay, Okay, Greg and San Lorenzo.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Let's see what you got. What's the answer? Meat meat?
I'm gonna guess Greg is a chicken guy. Love it,
love it? Yeah, I love chickens.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
You're saying, like a half pound of chicken. You're talking
about meat that's not your own meat, like your own muscles.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Right right, chicken, hamburger or you know that type of stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I like that. Yes, that is not the correct answer.
What is the answer?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
It is said, we walk around with a half pound
of salt in our bodies at all times. Salt, sodia,
salt is essential for like bodily processes.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Okay, that was very scientific court. Yeah. But if he eat
too much salt, that's not good for you.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
No, no, so I try I try to not do that.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Little salt also not good for you. It's a fine line,
is what it saying. Greg, Doctor Johnson here, Yeah, there
you go. Anyway, Well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Hey, welcome you both have a really good day, and
keep on listening to you both.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Oh thanks again. Nanics. Greg, okay, all right, you do both,
take care you got good day, bye bye bye. How
nice is Greg? So nice? So nice? Morning.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Breeze brain Teas we play every weekday morning at six
twenty five and would love for you to join us.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Coming up this morning at six forty once again another
chance for you to ask us anything.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
We're gonna hear from Sue in Santa Rosa, who listens
to us every morning. She has a question very specifically
about our schedules here at work. Yeah, so we will
answer her question. We're kind of curious about your schedules.
For the people that are listening this early, we'd love
to know your schedules as well. So we're going to
talk about all that. Ask us anything coming up at
six point forty on the Breeze.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Sarah Carman here on ninety eight point one The Breeze.
Six forty four is the time, and that means it's
time to ask us anything. This is where you if
you've got some if you're curious about something happening on
the show, If I you've heard Carolyn say something, you're like,
I would like more context, Carolyn, Or.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
If you've for Court say something you could say sure,
I would like context would I.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Would probably assume anytime I say anything, you're like I
would I deserve an explanation.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
That's fair.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
So you give us a call eight seven seven nine
eight one nine eight one. You can also use the
talkback feature on our free iHeartRadio app and send your
questions in that way. Yes, those those questions just show
up here in the studio.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
All right. This one from Sue in Santa Rosa. Hi,
good morning. What is your question on to ask us anything?
Speaker 4 (05:30):
I've always been curious about the four hours thing.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
You guys are on from from six till ten?
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yeah, how most normal jobs are an eight hour ship.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I love that question. Okay, Sue, thank you.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
All right, have a good one.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
She's right.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I ever think about that that. People might think, oh,
you only work for four hours a day, right, but
it's actually a lot. There's a bunch, there's a bunch
of hours ahead of the four hours, and for some
of us, a lot of hours afterwards.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
And I say that because you have additional responsibilities here
at the Breeze, right that I don't have.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Right.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
So when I go like this and my work is finished,
you're like, I got more to do?
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah, So I have two jobs here at the Breeze.
I do obviously this show with Court, but I'm also
the music director here, so I schedule all of the
music that you hear on the radio station. So when
the job is done, I go home or even sometimes
at Oracle Park and schedule music. So even before the
games last night, before the game, I am my laptop
open and I was like, Fleetwood Mac look sounds good
(06:28):
next to boys to men.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Let's do that. And so I'm scheduling music. So that's
my other job.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
So we work a lot more, and you do too, Court,
You're pulling bits for the morning show outside of the
show and doing social media. Court does most of our
social media.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, I do. I do a lot of that.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
But because of how that works, I typically get in
in the morning at about five o'clock. You get in
at about five thirty.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Okay, you don't need.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
You, but then but then the work continues well into
the afternoon. And as you pointed out, I mean, and
we're not here in the in the building, we're continuing
to work exactly. So it's it's like a thirteen hour
day for us.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
I know it's well for you. It was like I know.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Wait, but we would love to know about your schedule
because a lot of people have funky schedules. Right, We've
got this question on our Facebook page at ninety eight
one of the Breeze. You can call us and you
can literally ask us anything. It could be about schedules,
it could just be about something in life in general.
Eight seven seven nine eight one oh nine eight one.
Now coming up this morning, it's seven thirty five. That
is your next chance to win tickets to go see
(07:32):
Cindy Laupper.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yeah, she's going to be at the Toyota Pavilion at
Conquered August twenty sixth and you could be their four
free courtesy of the Morning Breeze. We'll be here seven
thirty five. Your chance to win Ryan Adams at seven
oh eight here on ninety eight point one the Breeze.
It's the Morning Breeze, Carolyn and Court and time now
for the brighter side. If there is something in your
life that is making you happy or bringing a smile
(07:53):
to your face, that is why you should call us
and tell us about it.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Eight seven seven nine eight one oh nine eight one.
That's how you reach us.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
You can also send us a talkback on our free
iHeartRadio app. Look for that red microphone button, click it,
Send us your brighter side. Sponsored by Shreaving Company, Luxury
time pieces, find designers and flawless Diamonds.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
It's Ronda in Sunnyvale. Good morning. How are you today?
Speaker 4 (08:16):
I'm good. I'm really good.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Good.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Why are you good? Why are you really good?
Speaker 4 (08:22):
I'm at a YouTube star on Friday?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
On Saturday, a YouTube star?
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Oh, who was it?
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Frank Slope?
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Frank Slope? Who is Frank Slope?
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Frank is a PCSL. He is a Pana County Sheriff's
Office traffic cop that is famous in Arizona.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Oh, I know who you're talking about. Really, I watched
those videos. Yeah, did you meet him because you got
pulled over and he was giving you a ticket?
Speaker 4 (08:50):
No, I went to the open house that he announced.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Wait, so you went to Arizona this weekend and met him?
I did.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
It was really good.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Did you fangirl out on him when you met him?
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Like?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Were you tongue tied and you're you couldn't believe you're
meeting him?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
And by the way, no, I did not. I did
take him a five pound box of Skittles.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Does he like skittles? Is that a thing you guys?
He was probably so excited.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah, he was a little bit surprised.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
I love that you met a YouTube star and bought
them skittles.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Well, in one of his videos he bet somebody up
package of skittles, and so I just took him.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
This shows how much of a super fan you are
that in one video he bet somebody skittles and that
becomes your gift.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
So happy for your weekend, Ronda.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
I just had to share.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
That's a great story. Great story.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Yeah, I have a good one, Ronda, thanks for calling
in bye.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
I love a good celebrity sighting. But she went the
distance to go travel to meet Yes, so she knew
who she was gonna be running into. That's so crazy.
What a great story. If you have a brighter side
for us, no matter what it is. Eight seven, seven nine,
eight one oh nine to eight one.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Coming up on Friday, around this exact time, we will
once again be naming a new Morning Breeze Person of
the Week as we continue our search for the great
people in the Bay Area.
Speaker 2 (10:18):

Speaker 1 (10:31):
We want to hear about them. Get those nominations in
on our website.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Ninety eight Onethebreeze dot com.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I'm not mad at a little Stevie Wonder for your
Tuesday Morning Can't go Wrong? Seven twenty six on the
Morning Breeze. It's Carolyn and Cory. Carolyn, I want to
take a quick moment and apologize to the to the
man that was driving a gray Toyota Corolla no Saturday
afternoon in Daily City. Okay, here's here's what I'm assuming
(11:00):
is you went out shopping with with your wife and
while your wife went into uh I believe it was
Burlington Coat Factory. Okay, this tracks you decided to stay
in your vehicle and just chill, and so you took
refuge in the shadow of the Breeze vehicle.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Oh did you park right? Were you driving our car?
Speaker 4 (11:19):
So?
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Over the weekend I needed to move some stuff and
I needed a vehicle big enough to move it, and
so I borrowed the station vehicle. We have these great
big forward expeditions. Yeah, they're they're they're pretty big. They're
so big.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
And so I had parked it in a parking lot,
and I always try to park as far away as
possible so that i'm you know, I'm not buying anybody, sure,
because they're bigger vehicles. So I parked as far away
as I could, and I went and I did my shopping,
came out, didn't end up buying anything.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
And somebody had parked right next to me. Oh is
this the Corolla. This is the this is the gray
Toyota Corolla. Poor guy.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
And I get in there and I start backing out,
and I look over and I realize, oh, he parked
right next to me, So that he because it was
son it was beautiful. Well, oh, he was taking your shade,
taking refuge in the shade, say, in the shade of.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
The that is the breeze vehicle. Funny.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
And I look over and I see him as I
start to back up, and he goes ah, because I
was taking his shade away.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Because his wife was in Burlington Co Factory and there's
a lot to do in there.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
She was gonna be in there for a minute. Oh
that's hilarious.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
I felt horrible, and in fact, I paused for just
a brief moment, and I thought, could I stay.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Here for a minute to help this guy out. I
got things to do. You're like, sorry, buddy, as you
pull out and drive. I just felt like I needed
to offer him an apology. But I'm totally the guy
when I go. If I'm with my family and I'm
staying in the.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Car, I will go find like a tree to park
next year, or a bigger car, because you got to
have that shade.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yes, I do that car. I do that too.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
That is really funny. We're at eight seven seven one,
nine eight one. Send us a message any time with
our iHeartRadio app and that talk back Michael. We're just
minutes away from your next chance to win those tickets
to go see Cindy Lapper.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, she's at the Toyota Pavilion at Conquered August twenty sixth,
and you could be there as well for free with
these tickets seven thirty five minutes from now here on
the Morning Breeze. It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn and
Court and congratulations your collar ten.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
You've got yourself tickets to Cindy Lapper.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Yay, I love Cindily Lapper. I remember going into the
skating rink and listening to her music.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Very nice.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
The skating ring all skates, it's an all skate. But
then when couple skate came on, I had to go
home every time, like I had to go to the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah. I don't want to be embarrassed. I know you too. Yeah.
I love how Cindy Lapper just morphed into roller skating.
This is the best. What is your name?
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Kay?
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Listen to you from Saint Helena.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Okay, we got two tickets for you.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
You're going to see Cindy Lapper at the Toyota Pavilion
at Conquered August twenty sixth. It's courtesy of Live Nation
and in celebration of the pavilion's fiftieth anniversary.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
You can get two tickets for fifty dollars this.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Saturday only at the Pavilion's box office.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Thank you, you are so welcome, and we'll have another
chance to win tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Seven point thirty five. Here on the morning Breeze.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
It's Madonna, such a great slow dance song from back
in the day. Yeah, crazy for you? Eight eight Morning
Breeze with Carolyn and Court. Speaking of back in the day,
you mentioned a minute ago, Court that you used to
go to the library all as a kid. I bring
this up because it is National Library Week where we
(14:26):
celebrate libraries. You remember as a kid, and even now,
so many adults like love reading so much, But when
you were a kid going to the library, do you
remember your experience?
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Well, the first library I remember because I grew up
in a small town in Utah and it was like
pretty much two rooms in this old old building. Oh,
really super old. It was only two rooms. And then
then the word started to spread that the city was
building a brand new city of the art library. The
birds started to spread and it was so exciting because
then suddenly it was a large, gike antic library with
(15:01):
multiple areas and so many books.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
We couldn't even fathom it.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Yes, I remember going to a Therm and Gkse library
and Walnut Creek as a kid.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
I'd ride my bike.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
I remember the smell of like rosemary plants by the
bike racks, because you know, we park our bikes and
the bike racks. Oh, it was just the best. You'd
walk in and it was like sky's the limit. We
get to choose your own adventure books, right, you check
them out, go home.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
So fun I was trying to explain the Dewey decimal
system the other day to one of my daughters and
I and I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Honestly, I couldn't do that if I tried. I also
can't do math.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Remember science, you'd go up to the little catalog things,
card catalog, card catalog, and you'd find it, and then
you'd look at it and there'd be the number, and
then you'd know exactly where to go.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
That's so true. That's three fourteen dash one nine seven. Oh,
I know where that is.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
And I know they still use that, but I think
they they've gotten easier. They've got the departments and stuff.
You just kind of go to them.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah, it's so funny. You know.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
This was back in the eighties when I was going.
But when you were a kid, you'd in there and
all you focused on was books. And I remember they
had like the first computers in there, and those were
like whoa. You really had to get in line for those.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Then when you found out that not only could you
go to the library and check out books, you could
start checking out CDs.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Oh yeah, yeah, and you take it home and you
record it to a tape. You're not supposed to say that.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Did you really say that out loud? That seems so uncourt.
That does not seem like something you would do. But anyway,
as we celebrate all of our local libraries this week
for National Library Week, just thank you for all you
do because libraries are a very special place. We need them,
We appreciate you. Yeah, we're at eight seven seven nine
eight one, nine eight one. Send us a message anytime
(16:41):
with our iHeartRadio app that Talkback Mike.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
