who was the SPA manager at Cash Creek Casino Resort. Jenna,
thank you for being on with me today. So how's
it smelling there? Does it smell wonderful? Like lilax and
just relaxation.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
I mean, honestly, it always smells different, so every day,
just depending what we have out in our retail section. Yeah,
it always something. It's always something different.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
So how long have you been at Cash Creek?
Speaker 2 (00:30):
So I've been here for twenty years. Yeah, I know,
it's been a long time. So I started back in
two thousand and four when the brand new building opened.
I worked in our buffet apartment just as a cashier,
moving in and out of a couple of different departments.
I landed working as an admin for the VP of hotel,
(00:51):
kind of like getting closer and closer with the other
SPA managers that were here previously and just them teaching
me things. And I finally was like like the light
went off and I was like, oh my gosh, this
is my passion, this is what I want to do so,
just with extra classes in schooling. Here I am twelve
years later.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Good for you. Do you love what you do?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I do. I really truly love what I do, and
I love our guest. Our guests are amazing and not
only that, but all of our providers are receptionists are
all amazing as well.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
What do you think your favorite thing is about working there?
Is it that you get to see the guests every
day and see how happy they are when they leave
the spa?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Or I would say just building relationships with our guest,
knowing what they like, what they prefer, and then you know,
us being in the hospitality, it's our job to cater
to them, right so just being able to you know,
have a drink ordered prior to them coming in for
their service if that's something that they like, or knowing
(01:54):
if they like a specific provider, just having those detailed
notes on our end making their experience that much better.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I think it's those little things that probably make you
stand out amongst other resorts. I mean, what would you
say is the main thing that differentiates you from other spas?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I would say, honestly, our amenities are one of a kind,
so I you know, obviously travel around. I've been to
Vegas where you know all of our other property, you
know other properties that are around. Our amenities are the best.
We have our sauna, steam in our whirlpool inside of
our women's We also have a big, huge Himalayan rock
(02:35):
salt wall with heated tile loungers. All of our guests
to get full access to those amenities as early as
nine am. They can come in and out as many
times as they want throughout the day and they have
full access intel seven pm.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
How great is that to be able to come in
and out with all day access just yes, at your leisure. Oh,
I might use the spa for a minute. Okay, I'm
going to go in and jump in the hot tub
or yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's one of a kind. And they also get access
to the North Tower pool, which are our twenty one
in overpool out right outside of the spa. So, especially
in the summertime, we do get booked pretty quickly just
because our guests love to just lay out by the pool.
You could order food and drinks out there. They really
just make a whole day of it.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
It's crazy too. I was looking at your services and
it's literally pages long. Yes, there is nothing that you
pretty much don't offer, right, anything I can dream up
you guys offer.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, Like, honestly, we're one stop shop for everything. We
do massages, facials, manicure, petticures. We also have hair services,
We do body waxing, We have body scrubs, so you
literally can come in and get a treatment in a
massage or facial and get your hair done at the
end and then come out feeling relaxed, rejuvenated. So we
(03:53):
really have it all.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Do I need to be staying at the resort to
book a spa day or can I come in if
I wanted to just do a day trip with my girlfriends?
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Oh no, you definitely can. You can just come in.
You don't have to be staying in the hotel, you
don't have to be a player downstairs. Anybody can come
you take walk ins, yeah, definitely, So we do take
walk ins, just depending what's on what's available that day.
But we definitely do have walk ins on the weekends.
We tend to get a little bit busier, so weekends
(04:23):
we might request a week in advance, but if we
do have a walk in and you're here, we'll definitely
book it.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
So let me ask you if you had Jenna a
free day to enjoy the spa and you were kind
of a guest of your own establishment, and knowing what
you know about all the services that you guys offer,
how would you lay out your day?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I definitely would start off by booking our day a decadence,
so that's four and a half hours of spa services.
So it's a massage, facial, manny, petty. You can scatter
them throughout the entire day. And that also comes with
lunch as well, So I definitely probably would come in,
use the hot to use the steam room, have my massage,
(05:03):
do my facial, have lunch in the middle. Probably give
me an hour to have lunch. I can have it
delivered to me out at the pool while I'm relaxing
taking a swim, and then come back and do your
manicure petticure afterwards, and then use the amenities afterwards. You
really truly can make a whole day of it.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
That sounds so amazing. What's your most requested service? Would
you say?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
From your guess, so, I would say are most requested
is massages?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Is there anything new on the horizon as far as
offerings coming up.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Coming March first, we are bringing in quite a few
new spa services to our menu. So we're bringing in
Eminence Organic Skincare, so we're bringing in their brand new
Superfoods facial which is an enzyme peel which is super gentle.
And then we're also bringing in an amazing wrap combination,
(05:54):
so it's going to be a scrub, a wrap and
then a fifty minute massage. And then we're also bringing
in derma planning, which is super popular. And then we're
also bringing in the brand new, up and coming headspa
that everybody is raving about, so we're super excited about that.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
What's a headspat?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
So headspa is like a deep conditioning treatment for your scalp.
So yeah, it can treat dry hair, oily scalp if
you have dandriff that sort of thing, and it's literally
like steam. We put in products and it helps with
hair growth. So it's just an amazing relaxing treatment that

we now can offer in our hearsalon as well.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Oh my gosh, you must look like a movie star
when you leave, like you want to go out and
just see as many people as possible to show off
your deal.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, totally. I mean it's Honestly, we're a one stop shop.
You can come in and you can go out and
be a whole new person, and it's just one of
the amazing amenities that Cash Creek has to offer.
