Speaker 3 (00:48):
We do a segment here on The Breeze called the
Morning Breeze Person of the Week, and we take nominations
from people all over the Bay Area, and we got
this nice note from your mom talking about what a
hard worker you are. That you work for Fremont, you
to fight school district. You're helping your mom with her
bills and her healthcare. You do so much for others, And.

That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I'm going to be honest. I took the loss very,
very hard after my dad passed. I had to take
time off from work, but eventually I had to go
back to work. Ye. It was not an easy decision,
but eventually I have to go back to work, right,
and my employers was very supportive. Free manun Fight in

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
They always say when you put positive things out there,
like you taking care of your family, it comes back
to you. And this is how it's coming back to
you and one of many reasons I'm sure of your
employer being so understanding about everything and treating you with
such kindness exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
You know, I actually do an event called Night to
Shine with the Tim Tebau Foundation here at Los Altos,
and that's actually coming up on February to seventh. So
I give back. You know, my dad taught me before
it passed away, that I should give back to the community.
You know, even though I'm disabled and has to rable palsy,

(02:42):
I'm not going to let that affect my life, and
I give back to the community by doing community events
such as the real such as the Night to Shine
event and other events here in the Bay Area. So
I'm very owned and blessed to be politive Romoel, not
just to the city of Freemont, but to the entire
Bay Area.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You're an example to us all, Alex.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
This is exactly why you're this week's Person of the Week.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Oh I am so aner, ma'am. I don't know what
to say. I feel like I just want to cry,
but I got to keep it together.

being named the Morning Breeze Person of the Week. We're

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Oh deal. I am a lucky man, and I mean
I'm not gonna lie. I am so blassed to just
do what I do. And anybody has a disability, please
don't give up on your dreams and just live your
life to the fullness like I have. So thank you
so much.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Oh my gosh, Alex. We loved chatting with you. Thank
you for being you and for all you do for
the community here in the Bay Area.

Speaker 2 (03:45):

I am honored to be a Person of the Week.
And thank you mom for the nomination. I love you
and a wonderful day, and thank you.

try to top that one.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
We dare you, dare you try to top Alex.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
No, seriously, though, if there is somebody in your life
while you're listening to this with Alex and it kind
