Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Morning Breeze, The Morning Breeze on Demand Wait with
Max seven six. It is the Morning Breeze with Carolyn
and Cord and it is time for this week's Morning
Breeze Person of the Week. We do it every Friday morning,
just after seven o'clock and we are very excited about
this week's This is a good one.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
It is. We've got Amy who nominated her husband Jason
for the Morning Breeze Person of the Week. Amy, why
did you nominate Jason?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Well, Jason's my husband, and he's a very genuine man.
He's got a heart of gold and always wants to
go above and beyond to please everybody that he comes across.
But for about the last five and a half months,
we've been dealing with some medical issues with Jason. We
believed that he may have had a heart attack and
a stroke and he was starting to develop symptoms that
(00:50):
sort of related to those issues, but we couldn't get
them into the doctor. Finally, when we did, they said, well,
we want to run a series of tests on you,
which requires that he take a lot of time off
of work. And he is a high end manager for
Performance food service, so that required him to try to
find backup people to do his position, and it ended
(01:12):
up that after running numerous tests, they determined that he
had a small blood clot in his leg. Fortunately no
surgery is required for that. We just got the results
of his cardiology yesterday. The doctor said his heart is fine. However,
February thirteenth, he has to go in and have his
(01:32):
septum reconstructed in his nose because he has severe sinus
issues and caused him a lot of stress and anxiety.
And he just feels as though he's letting a lot
of people down by not being able to be at
work that week and stressing out about it.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
That says so much about him right there.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah, he has I think something like two hundred and
eighty unused hours that he can use just for himself.
That he feels if he takes one day off that
he is letting his crew down. He just wants to
do the right thing all of the time, and he
never takes time for himself ever. And he's stressed out
about Valentine's Day because surgery is the thirteenth, and he says,
(02:18):
I don't know what I'm going to do. Amy, I
can't take you out for Valentine's Bank.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
My gosh, our timing is so good on this because
we get to give him the city cruises cruise around
the Bay that you can use any time. So we'll
let him get through his surgery and then we'll send
you guys out. But do you think if we called
Jason right now we could get him on the phone
with us.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yeah, that would be wonderful. Hold on one second.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I can't wait to talk to Jason.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
I know what a story are you there?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah? Hello, hey, Jason.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Hello. We love listening to you every day of the house.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Oh that's so nice.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I love to hear that. We hear you're going in
for surgery.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
He was, I am having surgery soon.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
So Amy was telling us about just what an incredible
person you are, and like the guilt that you feel
for having this surgery, that you're going to be missing
out and being with your employees and you're traveling all
the time, and my goodness, you need a day off.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
I do. It would be so nice.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Well, twenty twenty five, Jason should be the year of
you taking all the PTO that you can take. Obviously,
some of it you're gonna need to take, but we're
gonna help you out as well. Let me ask you this,
when have you have you ever taken a cruise a
brunch cruise out on the bay.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Wo oh my gosh, well your luck. What we're gonna
do is, we're gonna give you a cruise for two
on a City Cruises boat out on the bay. You
and Amy can go out there one Sunday morning, have
some quiet time, some brunch, just take a break from
your lives for a minute and just focus on being
with each other.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
That sounds awesome. That's very nice. I very much appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Of course, City Crusis does an incredible job with their brunches.
It's it's our honor to send you out. You guys
both deserve it.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Oh my gosh, thank you Cors once again. And congratulations
on being our Morning Breeze person of the week.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Why, thank you very much, appreciated, love the station.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Thank you so much, Jason. And if you've got somebody
in mind that you think would make a good Morning
Briefs person of the week, we'd love to hear from you.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, it's easy to do. Just make that nomination on
our website. Ninety eight one the breeze dot Com at
