Speaker 1 (00:04):
Garage.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Willie Bee's garage is now open.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Hold on, y'all, I'll text about today hang on a
big chunk of but don't yesterday. But I'll being back
at it today. You coming out, you cleaning up? So yesterday, hey,
I think my wife live streamed it under the Willybee

(00:30):
Foundation Facebook page. But we were moving around a bunch
of the cars for Christmas stuff. We have a road cars.
I got a road cars that I'm about to get.
Remember Craig from the title place, so I'm gonna use
his help. And I've got three or four cars over

(00:50):
the last couple of years that they got donated to
cars to Christmas because of these wild obscure titled hang ups. Right, Oh,
this person, you know, this person died and you need
this person's signature here and or so. You know, dude,
sometimes the DMV will find the craziest things to hold

(01:10):
you up on. Right. Sure, it's just hey, it's government.
It's what they call bureaucracy. It's just oh, no, you
need this paper here, or you gotta have this piece
of paper here, or you got no this signature says, uh,
there's a you know, it's a duplica title printed off
or something, or this signature is in the wrong spot,
you know, and you gotta redo everything. So there's been

(01:31):
a couple of cars that I've had that are just
like that. So Greg's gonna help me get those done.
And I moved a bunch of stuff out around that
I'm going to remember the hand. It was called a
hand of the carpenter. Hands of the carpenter. It's a
five a' one c three. They gift cars to single
working moms and they do it, you know, throughout the

(01:53):
year they have their five A one C three. They
haven't set up where they could. You know, they pay people.
So they have a couple full time shops that you know,
just work, you know, work on these cars, and you
know it's dope in that regard. But my five of
one C three, you know, all the money that you

(02:16):
put into it, it goes to the cars. That's what
nobody gets paid. Nobody gets you know, all my friends
they just donate the time, which is insane. So it's
a little different. But I have some cars. We don't
mess with transmissions. And you know, there was another car
that had like a blown engine, but the car itself

(02:38):
was great. It's great interior, great xterior, transmission works on it.
Just really nice Chevy Envoy and I was like, damn,
I hate to trash it. It's got a blown engine
and I thought I could put it out back and
just find another engine over them. It was in the
years where I was getting three or four Chevy Envoys
in the mix, and all of a sudden I got
that one. And I've never had another Chevy Envoy and

(03:00):
I've had it for two years, so I've had gmc
arkadie is with your clothes, but I just went ahead
and donated that to him. So I set a few
cars aside for you know, the hands of the carpenter
and uh, I was just texted back and forth with
him when they can come get it. And you know,
good news is it's all about helping out and because
pretty word, which is a little bit about what today's

(03:22):
show is uh as well, it was just uh, it
was wild. Uh just to get those cars shoveled around
and see what we're working with for next year, kind
of line them up. Is it's weird that we're start here.
We are March, she as March, but we've already been
working on cars at Christmas. You know for like a month. Uh,

(03:42):
it's it's kind of NonStop. Man, it's wild how it's uh,
it's growing on something that's really cool and uh, you know,
we definitely enjoyed doing it, and the friends at RINCH
and work in the cars are awesome, so it's just
fun times. But yeah, already dove into it. How would
your night, scoop, I see, I see you gotta Well,

(04:04):
you got what looks like a SMA similarly required kind
of cool little light box deal working over there.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
That is exactly what that is?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
What do you got? All right? So you got an
LED light strip and you assembly? Are you printing on
both sides of this light box? So you could do
you could do this LED light thing or you do
you ship it already assembled?

Speaker 5 (04:30):
So I literally started this project about three hours ago.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Is that right there? Yeah? So I wow, that's so
good that you printed that in that fast. Yeah wow.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Like currently version two point zero is already printing on
the printer because I already.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
See what issues I've got here.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Okay, but h yeah, like I was, you know, I
was about ten minutes into the print before I was like,
I probably should do this instead of this, and that
would make this a lot easier. So yeah, I we
haven't got that far yet.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, but this.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Is just prototype make number one.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Sometimes you can tell by your face that she's she's
not enjoying whatever it is you're doing. You just got
to change it up. It's very similar to that, but
in the scoops world, right right, So yeah, anyway, that's
pretty cool though. It's a light box that you could wear.
How dope is that? Y'all?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Right?

Speaker 5 (05:22):
So, like all those light Ikea ones that I bought,
you have to plug those into the wall or you
have to buy one of those expensive like battery packs. Yeah,
and they're like sixty five bucks, so that's not very
who going to do that?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Right?

Speaker 5 (05:33):
But I got these lights that are a dollar dollar. Yeah,
that strip costs a dollar.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
It kind of looks like it costs a dollar, but
at the same time it'll light up a little personalized
light box just perfect, right.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
And it's battery powered so you can do a little
necklace on there and.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Dude, what a cool little it says hello, my name
is and you just ride it on.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
There, right, But I do whatever you It doesn't have
to say that.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Right right, right, but you can do Yeah, exactly. That's
pretty uh, that's pretty cool. So yeah, personalized or customized
wearable light box. Right, damn, that's advanced Flair. Like if
there was like Flair one oh one, this would be

(06:16):
like AF five oh five, like right, you know, Advanced
Flair five hundred level course. This is for the graduate class.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
If you have a restaurant or something, everybody has name
tags light up, you know, it's not very bright in
the place. Something'd be like, hey, you're uh Lisa, that's
who I need.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Right, that's uh yeah, yeah, that's a pretty cool little idea.
You know, just have one. It says, flip me over what.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Uh hilarious, wherever you want.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
You could really have some phone with that f you
what that person needs a hug, know, all kinds of
fun stuff, man, check it out. Scoops scoops dot Com
Scoop scoops. That's two scoops.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Yeah, I'll have those up as soon as I have
a final product.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
How many scoops two?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Two of them?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Just two dot com On Instagram it's four. Well damn
double the pleasure, I guess on the Instagram.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Because one, two and three were already taken, so I'll
go four.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Uh, six minute abs, six minute abs. Four scoops. You
just keep going and tell you well, all right, nope, nope,
not accepted, not accepted, accepted, all right, seventeen scoops.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
It's changing your password and just adding an extra explanation, right.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Right, good, nope, nope, nope green all right, all right, good,
all right, guys, all right eight Yeah, a break all
kind of stuff for you today will be his garage.
I'll catch you up on the Dad chronicles. Uh, there's
there's something to catch you up on. We'll talk some
CNS stuff which is way cool. Lincoln Tech Car Show

(08:01):
it's a week from today, so we're gonna have some
people on from Lincoln Tech. We also gonna talk a
little bit later in the show about these cats in
Wyoming building some crazy like and they're actually gonna come
down and do the cruise. I mentioned to them a
good way to show some of these crazy vehicles offres
to bring them down and do the cruise with us

(08:23):
and roll in the LINKODN Tech and kind of you know,
we'll kind of a cruise style which is kind of different,
unique and everybody loves to see it, so we want
to be part of that. It's a week from today.
Cabella's up north is were we're all meeting up and
we're gonna get to uh Lincoln Tech by the time,
you know, nine o'clock rose around to crack off the show.
So we'll be up there piling in that parking lot

(08:44):
about six point thirty to eight o'clock or so. Roll
out at eight o'clock, do the cruise, get in the link,
attack post up and then jump on air and tell
you all about what a cool event that got going
on down there. So it should be good times. Man,
let's get to this break. Then we're back at it
swinging for the fans. It's seven ninety tvp.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I Willy B's garage.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
You're back in Willybe's garage.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
What up y'all? Will it be his garage? Welcome to it, man,
glad well, glad to be here on Saturday, even though
it's kind of an up day. It is the guy, scoop.
Look behind you, is the guy walking across the street? Okay,
I thought he was in like one of them painters
like overall, like there's a guy in like a white hoodie,
white pants, white tennis shirits like he was wearing like

(09:34):
a painter's outfit like he's going in the spray of
car or something, and I'm like, no, no, it's just
it's just a look sweatsuit.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
I had to tee.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Uh huh. All right, man, So big news walking to
it wis garage. Lot's going on. So we got some
people coming in from Lincoln Tech. Gonna tell you all
about the big car show next weekend. I know, weather's
a little bit sketched right now, and we'll hey, we'll
talk about that. It is traditionally the first car show

(10:02):
of the year, and that's something you know, you got
to contend with. And it wild last weekend. It was
like what seventy seventy five or something.

Speaker 6 (10:10):
It was like, Oh, it's summer. Where's all the flowers,
where's all the you know, sun dresses and suns out,
guns out. And then all of a sudden, man, old man.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Winter shows back up, thumps everybody. It's like, ah, I'm
not done yet. Farts on all of us. But hey, man,
part of it, we'll address it. We're gonna take us
an amazing car show, amazing facility, lots of stuff to
highlight and talk about.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
There.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
We got a great company that's gonna come on a
little bit later to show y'all want to eat. So
trucks are like the hottest thing in the world, isn't
it wild. Scoop has been doing the podcast with me
that's adjacent to my TV show, a motor trend TV
show I do called Two Guys Garage. I think it's
on right now, actually a motor trend Now. The funny
thing and Scoop as my witness, is when we talk

(11:04):
to all these people in the industry, and there's been
one hundreds of them, we have about three hundred podcasts,
every one of them constantly refer to the truck market
or just truck sales as like the biggest thing there is,
like Fi far oh for sure, like heads and tails

(11:26):
above everything else. The truck after market is by far
the most robust area to live in, which is insane
when you think about it. But these guys that are
coming on have a really wild contribution when it comes
to the truck market and what they're doing. So that's

(11:46):
gonna be a cool conversation. And if you've never if
you've never seen go google Arctic trucks and you'll see
exactly what we're talking about. Or at least get a
little a little sniff and the direction. But now real quick,
I gotta bring in a long time buddy of mine.
I love this dude. Man. So people don't realize Jim

(12:08):
from carrad National Speedway. He is like he is the
ultimate gearhead dude, like you imagine being in the racing
world for as long as he's been in it, and
whether it's behind the wheel or behind the race track
facility and the events that go on there, he has
spent his life in that world and that realm. And

(12:32):
to everybody that has ever stepped foot of that place
or goes on adventure rides or is you know, witnesses
car collection or you know anything else, just seeing that
cool van that is up there, seeing us that I
will own one day. Jim has just been amazing to
sport and dude, awesome to have you on Austin to

(12:53):
get a minute to chat with you, and I love it. Man.
We've known each other for a long time. Does some
really fun stuff. Here we are yet again talk about
another season at CNS.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
Wow, what a great introduction there, Willie. You couldn't ausk
for more. You're my guy anyway.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Well, man, we've known each other a long time. Man,
We've always had we had done some really amazing fun,
just crazy cool stuff over the years, man. And it's
been an honored, absolute privilege, and it's just a great Yeah.
It's a great facility. And they've got a lot of
you know, fresh new vibe and energy with it. This

(13:33):
year there's some big upgrades. Was just up there the
other day. They're going, Jim, you're doing some stuff this year, man.
So the place is looking great.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
I really can't take credit for that, Willie. We have
some new owners and it is Chad and Stacey Anderson
and the Anderson family. They have put me in place
to run it for a while longer here and keep
things going. But they are just doing fabulous things. Their
new Grick Pitt grandstands, new pit tower, fresh coat of

(14:07):
paint on everything, leach your repairs all over. It is
just great to have that financial stability and interjection of
some cash and improvements, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Yeah, dude, Well looking fantastic, it really is, and it's
it's look. It is a great. Imagine this, you guys.
Not a lot of places you can take an entire
family sit down, be entertained NonStop like It is action
all over it. Even look, you don't even have to
be a fan or a car enthusiast or some guy

(14:40):
that's you know, turn of wrenches. You can just go
there to appreciate what the wildness is of this you know,
small oval, the crazy things they do on it from
you know the figure rate racing, which is you know
what I did when I got the race up there
for a season. Some of the crazy you know, just
some of the little the mini cars they have, the
little smaller cars. It's kids out there racing and some

(15:02):
of the crazy, fast, furious action they bring in on
a national level, like it's great entertainment. There's areas for
the kids to play. You can kick back and have
a beer, you watch some amazing racing. You could just
I mean the action is wild because you're you not
only see it, but you feel it, right. You're getting
this crazy impact of roaring engines, you know, seven hundred

(15:22):
and eight hundred horsepowers and some of these you know,
faster ones, and these guys are trying to wield that
power on a short oval with some crazy corners, tight action,
and they get aggressive and that's what you love to see,
and it puts you right on the right, on the
on the track, and there's not a bad seat, there's
got prove grandstands, there's an awesome beer garden, there's good food.

(15:44):
It's just great. Man. He treats it like a family
business and you feel that. And it's a great place
to get entertained. And you're not blowing up the wallet.
You're not you know, you're tapping into the savings. You're
not ruining all your extra spind for the week or
the two weeks like it. It's a great place to
go get entertained. And the whole damn family leaves happy,

(16:05):
excited and wold.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
And you know you wanted to bring your own Oh
didn't mean to interrupt, Willy, but you can bring your
own car out and do circle drags that Willy hosts
so the first Saturday of every month, and that's always
pretty exciting.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Dude, that is a blest. Now, Hey, I got a question, man.
Uh we were talking to entertaining some some other things
up there, and I brought up an idea of doing
a two lap the two lap circle drag. Now that
would be a wild thing. So look, if I ever
if I ever get a night or a day or
a whatever. Chance to throw a race up there, That's

(16:44):
how I'm gonna do it. I'm going to do a
two lap circle drag. Circle drags are bombed. It's fun.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
Well, if you want to host that, let's see, we'll
pick a date and we'll announce it in the future.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Or how's that awesome? Oh, that would be wild, big
time fun. So what is on the schedule for this year?
What's some of the big nights?

Speaker 7 (17:08):
Okay, we open on May third, Saturday, May third, for
we have not had ARCA series back for well, we
have them back after three years of kind of a
little hiatus, and that'll be on let's see May twenty fourth,

(17:29):
and that'll be the first day of two day Memorial
Day weekend show, which will be great. We have, boy,
another one that's coming back. I'm going to jump to
the bottom of the season way out in September sixth.
This is kind of interesting. The Big Griggs we haven't
head back. Now, what's Big Griggs? They're a semi tractor.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Can you bring the tractor trailers back at the race?

Speaker 7 (17:56):
Yeaes sir. We're going to happen East coast, this West
Coast showdown the five top finishers on the West Coast
will take on the five top finishers of the East
Coast and we're going to have an East Coast West
Coast showdown. That's gonna be quite quite an event. And
that's way out at the end of the season.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
But that there, that is crazy racing. If you've never
seen semis, don't think of this, well, do think of
the semis that you see on I twenty five ry
Sava the year god knows I seventy six. Uh. But
here's what these things they rip. Man, they had these
things cranked up. They're out there doing late. They're basically
drifting semis and man, these dudes are not afraid to rub.

(18:40):
And it's nuts how fast these big olds trucks get rolling,
especially out of tight over like that. Oh, it's gonna
be ugly, that's gonna be awesome.

Speaker 7 (18:48):
Oh and they're they're all about it. Man. Last time
we had them, one of the guys went a little
wide coming out to turn for smack the wall a
little bit, pushed his frame horns over about eleven inches
and capt race and it was unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yeah, man, they get down, that's all right. That's September sixth,
semi races. You know five versus five East versus West.
That's gonna be a cool little showdown right here on
you know, a nasty little oval just outside Denver. That's
gonna be crazy, big time fum there. What else on
the schedule that's a big highlight.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
Okay. We always have our two day fourth of July
Sprint Car Show and that speaks for itself. That's a
sellout every year, and again it's gonna fall Friday night
on the fourth and then Saturday will be the second
day of the finale. But let me jump to the
big one that we have this year. Kevin Harvick and

(19:44):
Dale Earnhardt Junior. Dale runs the East Coast and Kevin
runs the West Coast on their Cars series, and they
will be coming to the track on the first time.
They will be here on the twenty sixth of July,

(20:05):
and Kevin himself will be running as super Late and
his son Kielan fourteen years old, is coming through the
ranks of a Legend car, my next Legend. He'll be
running the Legend and then they come back out on
August fifteenth and sixteenth, and that'll be an Inx Legend's

(20:25):
mid season championship again once again, Kielan, keep an eye
on that kid. He's coming through the ranks, hard national
champion last year in the in the legend division, and
he's going to be competing in a pro late with
his dad on Saturday night, which will be an event.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Oh man. Yeah, today, that any dad gets beaten in
anything legitimately by their son is a rough day, especially
if it's their own, if it's their own skilled craft
or discipline. You know, if your son overtakes you in
you know, racing or moto and or you know boxing
or lifting or you know jiu jitsu, whatever, that may

(21:09):
be right when your son legitimately I say legitimately because
I let my son win on everything, but he's only four,
uh so legitimately wins. That's a hard day for us dads.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Man.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
That's a hard day for us dads. And a proud day,
but hard. Yeah. Man. First, I remember the first day
I beat my dad in arm wrestling, because my dad
was a beast. First time I put him down to
arm wrestling, Bro, That's all I talked about for like
two days because my dad would always be like, all right,
that's arm wrestle, and he'd whoop. He whooped my ass
all the way into college and I was like, damn.

(21:44):
It wasn't until I was out of college, young man,
until I lived here in Dinver. I met him in
Tennessee and he's like, oh, you're looking pretty big, and
I'm like, yeah, yeah, we have an arm wrestler a
couple of years. Dad's probably time and we there we go.
He's like, yeah, probably is, and I whooped his ass.
I was like yeah. He's like, I can't believe it,

(22:11):
but yeah, man, it's a It's always a tough piel
to swallow, but what a cool moment. Yeah, and we
got a passage.

Speaker 7 (22:22):
Well, and we cannot forget our local drift Colorado. They
are coming on strong. Drifting is just one of the
hottest new items in the racing scene or the auto
sports and we have them twice also, and we put
them together with our NASCAR program, so will run. Yeah,

(22:46):
that's pretty creative in in the motorsports world. We are
going to be running like a NASCAR division. Then we'll
slip in the drifters for a few rounds of competition,
then we'll go back to another NASCAR division And a
cool gives all the NASCAR fans a little taste of
drifting and it's really helps some motorsports world.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Justin is a blast man, so much fun. Well, look,
there's a lot going on there, don't you. Yeah, just
my dude, just bunch myself. It's a I love it.
It's a blast man. It's a blast Uh. My brother's
son is under professional circuit too. He's travels all over
the all over the East Coast, up and down the

(23:28):
East Coast, you know, in the a couple of different
drifts series. So he's out there batting as well. I
guess he was the inspiration of that me. I got
him into drifting.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Way cool man. But hey man, how do people keep
up with the schedule at Colorado National Speedway? How do they?
You know, go see what's going on there every weekend?

Speaker 7 (23:49):
All right, jump on our website Colorado Speedway dot com
and that'll bring up the schedule and events and all
the information you need.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Yeah, everybody goes out there on the regular a. It's
fantastic to watch the witness. You guys love the racing,
love the spirit, and you guys keep it up. Carra
National Speedway Cordospeedway dot com. Yes, all right, hey, Jim,
as always been pleasure.

Speaker 1 (24:17):

Speaker 3 (24:17):

get fired up first weekend of each month and look
forward to doing that and everything else. You and the
gang out there Kyra National Speedway throwing at us. Man, Hey,
thanks for the time this morning.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
All right, Hey, let me give you a shout out,
Willie Man. You are just do so much for the
for the motorsports world in Colorado here. Man, you need
to get a little credit. You always give everybody else
such great recognition. You deserve a little bit yourself. So
that's all I have to say.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Thank you, thank you, my friend, Thank you. All right,
Jan talk to you soon, my friend. Keep up the
great work and we will see you. Kyrade National Speedway.
You gotta get up there.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Man.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
It is a unbelievable just but it's it's a time capsule.
It won't be long for those these type tracks. I
better shut down, you know when you really think about it.
On top of it, it's man, it's raw racing a
lot of energy. Everybody's cheering. You can't help with the
cheering little kids in laden cars or you know, your

(25:19):
fast NASCAR heroes racing their kids or you know, dude,
you can get some pizza, hot dogs, some chicken sandwiches.
Fun for the family. You know, everybody's cheering. They play
the freaking national anthem before they race. Men, everybody stands up.
That's what I'm talking America. It's a great place, man,
So check it out. Kyra National Speedway, Cayrolspeedway dot com.

(25:39):
We got take a break down. Hey, lingoln Tech has
this amazing car show. Next week is when it's scheduled.
A week from the day we play doing a really
cool cruise from Kabela's up north right off of one
hundred and forty fourth. Hey, I did you guys? Are
gonna be so proud of me? Scoop? Are you sitting down?

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Sit down? I am?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
I really be all right. Who's the most adult dude
in the room right now? It is not scoop? And
really that is not the answer. That's normally it's not.
It's always scoop as far as you know, just random
people walking in going who's the adult the room? They
definitely scoop. So not today. You know what I did?

Speaker 4 (26:17):
What'd you do?

Speaker 3 (26:17):
I again? Will he be speaking here? I pre before
the event, I hit up my boy from Kabela's and said, Yo,
we're gonna be up there in the parking lot next Saturday.
Is that cool?

Speaker 4 (26:33):
You asked for permission ahead?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Is that what that's called?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (26:37):
It is? That's right. I hold up? What's today's date?
Mark the March? I? Will he be all right?

Speaker 1 (26:47):
For?

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Will he b got permission?

Speaker 2 (26:50):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
I had this happened on Tuesday, I wouldn't have believed you.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
I know, I know, but look, I gotta sell you
the text he even said. He even said thanks for
letting me know. And I'm like, oh, oh, oh, that's
what adulting feels like, that kind of back. That back
got you compliment like, oh oh I didn't even deserve that.
That is that's see, that's adulting.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Ding.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
I should get like a ding adulting award. My little
shoulder angel said, Ding, good job adulting permission. Oh what
a good example I am. My kids were learning that
all right? Oh, so there I got permission. We're all good.
I'll tell you more about it coming up. So on
seven nine KVPI.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Willy Bee's garage fell back in Willybe's garage.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Ah, welcome to your Saturday in the morning. I would
call it still there's still people sleeping. You people are lazy.
If you're still in bed, you just lazy. You should
look at yourself in the mire and feel shamed. Actually,
probably feel pretty good. It was left time till nine thirty, scoop.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Oh, it's been a while, but sleep into that right
last night was awesome.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
You know, didn't even hear it. I got up this
morning like a five five thirty. It was like, oh,
look at that rained, but it obviously rained a lot.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Yeah, I was like, damn, yeah, the window cracked. Just
hear it coming down all night.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
It was awesome rain. What's that moisture falling from the sky.
It really happens, but when it does, it ruins car shows.
And we got a big one coming up next week.
I love Lingoln Tax car Show. I've been out there,
you know since the very first one. What's wild is
the very first one we parked in the front, Like

(28:40):
the very first one that had out there. It was
just like, I don't know, eighty cars or something, and
we just parked in the front. And then the following
year we got we had a bunch of people, and
now we started parking vehicles inside and then around back
and from there. It's really just it's blown up. It

(29:00):
is such a fun show because it typically kind of
kicks off. It's known for kicking off the car show
season here in Colorado, and it's just an epic show
they have, you know, they open up this amazing facility.
You guys know, I've oftentimes spoke about Lina Tech and
just I think what a great path it is for
so many people that just don't get the vibe or

(29:22):
energy of a four year college deal, which you know,
to be honest, most oftentimes turns into a five years
Sometimes I'm really slower for people sometimes even a six
year deal or maybe something you never even finish up.
So when you think about Lingo Tech, they are they're
such a great resource for people like working with their hands,
creating things with their hands. As a as a dude, right,

(29:45):
I am motivated. You know what's been fun the last
couple of years is to see Scoop. So you guys know,
I'm kind of like always been the construction guy, the
mechanic dude, the car guy. But Scoop is founded avenue
where he and this is when I say men are
wired this way. And you know, even a lot of
ladies are too, But Scoop has now found an outlet

(30:09):
where he gets to build, create, tinker and you know,
and build things with his hands kind of in a
different way and route with three D printing. So what's
been cool is to see Scoop find that inner man
and confidence and watch him create stuff like that like
a lot of men love to do. That's that's the

(30:30):
way we're wired.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
Every man needs a workshop.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yeah, regardless of how that workshop is is laid out,
what that workshop produces as a man, that's something that
keeps us in their happy spot, right. So really interesting
that when you think about linga tech, you are learning

(30:54):
things that people like us, people that create things with
their hands, like to build, like to accept that challenge.
You know. Man, what a great way to shine a
light on this creativity and this sort of discipline and
the paths that are out there to make Let's just
be honest, man, to make some scratch y'all make some money,

(31:16):
because when it gets down to it, I won't say
money buys you happiness, but I'd much rather cry in
a newer car in a nicer house than I would.
You know, a beater I got to fix every day
and something with dirt floors. You can feel me there.
If you can make money at doing something that makes
you happy, then my friends, you have found the right

(31:37):
job and the right passion and the right means to
pursue it. And Lincoln Tech helps that supply and demand equation.
So many people are out there thinking, Ah for your plans.
Not my vibe. But I love I love wrenching, or
I love painting, and I feel like, you know, painting
cards or something, or painting, you know, something like that

(32:00):
may be a good outlet for me. Or you know,
an auto body technician if you're good to tinker with
your hands, you know, but you don't want to get
necessarily under the hood, but you feel like, hey man
to do body work and paint book now is dude,
there's crazy money in it. Through h fact, there's crazy
money in it. You wouldn't believe the signs when I
fly down to Tampa that are all over Tampa Bay

(32:22):
looking for welders. I mean at ungodly prices starting paid
forty fifty sixty dollars for welders. It's insane. So all
these opportunities they're out there, and Leah Tech is the
premier spot to harness them to get focused and to
here's what's great to land the job afterwards, and Leadelle

(32:46):
joins us now on the phone. So we got this
big open house next week, get this big car show.
Lyddell is gonna help us sort of understand and help
you guys understand how she can. She's that person that
that's sort of at the end the year or you know,
eighteen months, whatever it is you're studying for. She's one
of the people that helps place you know, place you

(33:08):
in that career path. So Liddell, Hey, welcome to the show.
Welcome Willeby's Garage. Great having you on. And dude, I'm
going to talk to you because a lot of people
are curious how to get that job and and what
it's like out there and what the opportunity is like.
So I feel like we got to start with that.
There's there's a lot of demand for these type jobs

(33:30):
and career paths nowadays.

Speaker 8 (33:31):
Huh yes, absolutely. We work with a lot of the
Denver Metro employer's businesses. They partner with us, they come
in review our curriculum. The demand is really high for
the programs we have at LinkedIn Tech.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
You know, I Fly down, you know, oftentimes to Tampa
and do the show. And whenever we go out one
of the restaurants we go to that the Big Boss
likes to take us to, which is about once every
two times we fly to Tampa, we have to go
buy all the where they're building. They're building ships and
it is insane. We go along the docks there in
the shipyards and every single one of them has a

(34:10):
welders needed, welders wanted sign up and it's crazy. You
look at you look over the shipyard. You see these
guys just you know, they're just welding away on these
big holes and other ships, boats and equipment out there.
You can see why the demands so I it is
crazy because you know, there's been this big push for
you know, all kinds of ships to be built here
in America. I think that's kind of been something that's

(34:32):
been pushed out. But you talk just in that industry alone,
they are paying insane money to to anybody that knows
how to you know, make taking stick. And that's one
of the premier programs. You know, I've I've done a
few of those tests. I've been witnessed to it. You're
always welding program there at Lina Tech is amazing, It's unbelievable,
and there's there's a big career path in welding and

(34:56):
knowing how to you know, to do that stuff. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (35:00):
Absolutely. I think for our students with students coming from
all over the United States to Denver, who wouldn't want
to come to Denver, but when they graduate from welding,
if they're willing to relocate, man, there's so many opportunities
out there.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
That's nuts. And it I mean, is that one of
the higher things you think is in demand? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (35:20):
I think so. I think welding is, well, it's one
of our biggest programs. Our auto program is the biggest
that link in Tech Denver, but welding is right there.
So yeah, definitely a high demand. But there's a high
demand for all the programs we have, yeah, diesel, mechanics, HVAC, electric,
all of it.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Hey, why is it that most shops and I know
a lot of guys that work with a lot of
shops and the biggest challenge they have is finding talented people,
you know, to turn wrenches. And thank god, places like
LINGA Tech are getting these kids educated and enough to
speed you know, there is a learning curve even you know,
in your first couple of years in the industry. But man,

(35:58):
there's so many any people out there that are looking
for mechanics technicians nowadays, and you know, it has pivoted.
It's something that's more computer based now than you know,
a needle and seat and tuned in the carburetor. However,
you guys are providing that knowledge and I'm sure that's
got to be one of the again, the largest things

(36:20):
in the highest things for you to place or these technicians,
because man, what a what a demand there is for
these guys across the board, transmission into shop, diesel shop,
they're all over the place. Would help one of the
sisyp yep.

Speaker 8 (36:33):
Absolutely, and they'll take our graduates right out of the school.
Some of them even hire the student before they graduate,
you know, pair them up with a mentor or an
experienced mechanic and they're learning while they're in school and
then they just excel right after graduation.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Do you guys do studies And what the monetary like
salaries and starting you know, pay is for these career paths.
What what do you guys see is the starting pay?
Because I know what my friends have jumped ship lately
for and taking job. I was talking about Buddy this weekend.
I didn't know he left his spot in Parker to

(37:12):
go to a place in castle Rock because they paid
him like like eleven dollars or more an hour than
this guy was making like fifty eight bucks an hour
or something. It was insane. He's a hell of a wrench,
but man, he just got hired on at stupid pay
down in castle Rock. What are you seeing as you know,
salaries that these guys can start out at.

Speaker 8 (37:36):
You know, we're it depends on the program that they
do at Lincoln. We're right in the pocket there, but
we have so many kids that graduate and go all
over the country, so depending on where they go, right
they're staying in Denver. I mean, the minimum wage in
Denver is so high that they're not getting minimum, they're
getting above that. So with a minimum wage being eighteen

(37:56):
eighty one, they just you know, they can make some
really good money in these programs. So it really depends
on like if they want to work in a small shop,
they want to work in a dealership where they're going
and geographically as well.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Yeah, I can't believe what technicians that work on big semis.
My buddy just got one of these jobs about a
year ago. What he's making now, he just turns rentes
own big equipment like Semis and the likes and there's
a big demand for that. And again another program that
you guys have at Linko Tech that is really when
I walked in there, guys like they got track their
trailers in there and you're just tearing them apart, rebuilding

(38:31):
them and doing everything. I'm like, wow, this is like
everything at Lina Tech is stupid hands on, Like it
is so way cool hands on it is. It is amazing.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
Yeah, And I think that's what attracts the students that
just maybe don't feel like a four year college or
that path is right for them because our programs are
set up that they learn something and then they go
practice it right away. And so just the ability to
get their hands dirtier and to be in the field,
you know, in the shops that we.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Have Liddell help me with this. I got a front endloader,
it's got a bad diesel engine. How do we get
my front end loader? How do I get that in
the diesel program or at least in the window, Like
if y'all need a front endloader to rebuild, I got
you covered. I'll even figure out how to get it
down there. I'm sure you let me know, Liddell. Look

(39:25):
I got y'all. If you need a caterpillar, you know,
no it's a case. If you all need a case
diesel rebuild, I got you. But look, this campus is
open you guys next Saturday. So if you're like, if
you're wanting to see an amazing car show, because man,
let me tell you this car show is sick. They
got some of the craziest cool bills. It is absolutely absurd,

(39:48):
amazing and vendors and just when they open up this campus,
you get I mean there's catacombs hallways that you're like,
was I just down this hallway? It's like an FBI building. Man,
it's amazing. You think our key is crazy to get
out of. You got to see this place. They have
programs where you're just massive bays. Like when you walk
into their back area and see like rows, I think

(40:12):
there are two rows of like eighteen twenty bays on
each road. It's like nuts. So they have a dino there.
They have, you know, a huge bay to work on
tracktor trailers. They have you know HVAC cooling. They have
all these refrigerator walls, and I mean it is wild
to see everything that you're doing, hands on, multiple paint boosts,

(40:32):
It's just it is great. They open the tire facility up,
they got food trucks, really cool builds. It is a
full blown day event. So next Saturday, weather permitted, we
got a hell of a car show. I'm doing a
cruise to it. More about the cruise and what we're
doing to lift the spirits of everybody that knew Pressley

(40:55):
or got moved and motivated by Presley's parade last year.
We're revisiting that again this year in their honor. So
it's really exciting for that and just you know, I
really I'm excited to kick off cars Shoal season, excited
to bring it back to Linka Tech. And I look
forward to next week because I'm sure you do as well.

Speaker 8 (41:14):
Yes, I do look forward to seeing you there you.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Too, Liddell, Thanks so much for your time and cross
your fingers good weather and we will see you next week.
Room broom can't wait, all right? All right, take care
hey Liddell real quick if people want to find out
more before next week, what's the best way for them
to kind of link up and see some of the
opportunities and some of the you know, career paths. We

(41:38):
were just missing it even more that you guys have
to offer down there. What's the best way for them
to hop online maybe or check it out or to
see it firsthand, hop.

Speaker 8 (41:46):
Online, give us a call, but we are always open
for droppings. People that want to see the campus, are
interested in pursuing some of the programs. You can always
stop in, see an emissions person, get a tour all that.

Speaker 3 (41:58):
Yeah, man, And a lot of the pro programs much
more time frame friendly than anything compared to that four
year program. So many kids feel like they gotta go experience.
So we're talking of program Some of these programs, we'll
get you through it in a year. I mean there's
some of them, you know, it may take eighteen months
or so. But really, depending on how you set it up,

(42:20):
you can get through these programs fast, man, and with
career placement like Lee Dell is doing. I mean, you
gotta imagine think about that in two two and a
half years, your trajectory that you know you're currently young
could totally pivot and then your career path, your family life,
your your whole trajectory is just boom. It's laid out

(42:41):
completely different and men you're making strides and getting things
accomplished you never thought you really would. Or people who
are still trying to do when they're still in that
four year program leaving that program with a mist amount
of debt. Not the case with ling of Tech. It's
really cool. Check out their finance off as well. It's
all open next week or again if you want to

(43:01):
hop on there, say, you know, right now, what's that website?
One more time?

Speaker 8 (43:07):
It's Lincoln Tech dot edu, Lincoln.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Tech dot e d U the day again. Thanks again
for your time, and I look forward to seeing you
next week.

Speaker 8 (43:15):
All right, all right, thanks so much.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
Take care. Yeah, it's gonna be Austin next week. Man,
I know, weather permitting, well, we'll see. But I'm so excited.
It's it's partially because my baby's back. You know, you
know what was that commercial I'll got my baby ba
baby Bay baby back baby by ribs. It's kind of
like that, but my ribs are charger. Yeah yeah, I

(43:40):
got my baby back a sixty nine dollars charger, which
is what I did Pressy's parade with last year and
that rip and burnout is still in front of her house.
I guess, uh, what a cool moment that was, and
what an inspiration for that little six year old who
was who is just an immense battle man. And it's

(44:00):
it's unfortunate because she didn't lose. She didn't lose the
battle to cancer. She lost it to an infection unfortunately
from you know, from having to go do all those
procedures so often. However, man does she give us?

Speaker 2 (44:16):
Did?

Speaker 3 (44:16):
She said? A president? Man? You talk about a kid
who was always positive and happy every day she got
and loved cheetahs. Remember that's ther thing, cheetahs. She was
a cheated girl. She loved cars, motorcycles, trucks. We're going
to do this cruise and they got a fifty to
fifty raffle this year in Presley's honor. They're doing that

(44:37):
link attack. Half of the proceeds from the fifty to
fifty raffle Tiffany and Colton, which were Presley's parents, say,
are Presley's parents. They're choosing the family to give that
money to, you know who's in a similar situation, so
it doesn't have an impact and it. Look, it's just

(44:59):
another way we can, you know, come together do something
we love, honor just a great warrior and just a
inspiration because if you ever met Presley, you know she
was she was awesome. She definitely had just an unbelievable
energy and spirit to her even even when things were
ugly in every way. So definitely something inspiring. But a

(45:20):
cool cruise, a great person to honor and remember, and
a great just family event to bring it all together.
So look forward to seeing it go down next week,
whether permitting, we'll talk a little bit about that. But
on the way, man, a lot more catch you up
on a lot more to talk about. A lot more
coming up in the next week or two, so we'll

(45:40):
get back at it after the break. It's Willy Beat's garage.
Just one of seventy nine kbpi.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Willy Bee's garage.

Speaker 2 (45:51):
Fel back in Williebe's garage.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
She wanted seventy nine kbpi. Welcome to Willebe's garage. How
we're doing, man, Welcome to your Saturday. They spent a
little time with us this Saturday. Next week is gonna
be a blast, man. As I look forward to this cruise,
let me tell you Okay, So look earlier I mentioned
that my baby, my baby, my baby, my baby, my
baby's back. This is awesome. So if your call last

(46:18):
year Presley's parade, it was pretty cool. Last year, the
original Presley's Parade was supposed to be a cruise to
Lincoln Tech. Now, if you recall last year, uh, let's
just say inclement weather, right.

Speaker 4 (46:32):
Scoop, Yes, yes, inclement weather.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
We had a freaking snowstorm that day and it was bad.
It was like about five o'clock that afternoon. There was
like a foot of snow on the ground. It was awful. However,
similar to that, you know, similar what we had, you know,
like this year. The week prior to that, it was
really awesome. So they had to postpone the Lincoln Tech

(46:55):
Car Show, and when they did that, we obviously could
not do Presley's Parade. So the following week, the week
after that, we decided to through the whole thing again
and we had Presley. She did not know what was
going on, she was staying with her grandparents. We had
a police escort. Everybody met up that Cabella's, which is

(47:16):
where we're gonna meet next week, and we went from
Cabella's off one hundred and forty fourth and this was
all this one was crazy. We had police escort everywhere,
and I mean there were a ton of cars, trucks, motorcycles,
there was a ton of it. And these cops, man,
God love them. There were cops from I mean all over.

(47:39):
There was state patrol there because we were getting on
the highway. There were local cop I think there was
like four or five different agencies from like Thornton, Jeff Coo,
some other man. They stopped every like every intersection light.
They were like er and to have to have like

(47:59):
a few miles of hot rods and big ass trucks
and you don't loup bikes and all this, you don't
look to have the Bpi family have the police stop
and hold all the traffic. But we go through and
her hot rods or whatever.

Speaker 1 (48:18):
Epic.

Speaker 3 (48:19):
It was just so cool. It was one of them,
Like dang uh. It was a blast. And when we
rounded that corner and Presley was sitting down the lawn
and freaked out because you know, hundreds of cars come
raging by it. It was man to see how little
girl light up. It was awesome. So we know the story.

(48:39):
I got the news. Now you know, a couple of
months ago. I didn't. It took me a week to
be okay to say anything on the air because I
was like, man, that just that that hurt. Uh. Cancer sucks, man, cancers,
it is awful. And if you think of you know,
I see my little boy, man, you know, it's funny.
I was. I had a just a weird thought as

(49:02):
a father. You see your son, and he was he
had a little nose bleed, you know, and he kind
of typically gets a little nosebleed here and there. And
just the other day, I was like, man, God, could
you imagine because I was thinking about Presley's parade, I'm like,
you imagine, you know, like she had some similar she
was she had like a head coat or something or
a headache and it wouldn't go away. And they went

(49:24):
in and you know, found out she had brain cancer.
And I was thinking to myself, wow, that little nosebleed.
What I took him in and found a tragic diagnosis
like that, like and and that weight and burden and
you don't have so much time and you're you know,
as a as a dad, I couldn't imagine that, to
be honest, I couldn't imagine how much that would hurt.

(49:46):
You know, Tiffany and cold and have been super brave
throughout everything. Even Presley was just I mean, she had
a warrior mentality, super brave throughout everything. So when I
think about that cruise and what it meant her and
how you know, we're just car people, but I didn't
come together and just light up somebody's world. You know.

(50:07):
She talked about that band like as one of her
favorite things in the last year when she was going
through all this battling and bad news. That was one
of the biggest things. You know, if you ask, it
was some of the biggest things that you make you happy,
and that was always, you know, top three. So to

(50:27):
have an impact like that, to move and motivate and
get positive vibes or energy to anybody, any family, any
you know, little kid, big kid, we're all big kids
in that battle. That that's that's doing a lot. Look,
I fully expect and if you all don't, I will.
I'll probably come back and haunt you. But when I'm

(50:47):
on my dead bed, oh God, somebody rallies the truths
and does a cruise for me, like and hell out,
even Lenja my charge, I'm gonna still have one of them.
But yeah, man, I would love it because it's just
been you know, it's been a part of my life.
And I know Scoop ain't gonna do it. He'll ride
in one, but he ain't gonna coordinate it. Yeah, he's like,

(51:10):
but I'll ride. Look, just tell me what you will.
That's cute. I'll have a light box. But it looks.
It's amazing right to have that sort of impact, especially
when you think about what a battle that is. So
when you think about these cruises and let's be honest,
this one next week, you know, to be able to

(51:31):
drive into Linka Tech the sort of premiere. It is
one of the premierre car shows in town. You cannot
dispute that. It is one of the car shows everybody
looks for to everybody comes out at. They have thousands
of people come out that day stuff with cars. You know,
it's nuts how big that show has become. And hey,
all the better and all the merrier. When you go

(51:51):
out of a show like that, you want to you
want to bring some of the wildest, coolest, some of these
all inspiring, like whoa kind of builds there is? Or
a man bring whatever you got the matter. If it's
a Gen three Camaro with a three zero five man
limping on one leg, Hey bring it. Everybody's happy to
see it. But when you see something that really wows you,
which I think you guys are really gonna be wowed

(52:12):
by who we have on next. When you see something
that really wows you, it's cool, right, You see something
just doing something different, and just like you know, it
looks different, The stands a different. It's either bigger or
it's got different you know, sort of fluidity to it.
It maybe is built for something that I don't know,

(52:33):
in your eyes, is viewed as just crazy. Have you
ever seen some of these crazy rock crawlers or you
ever seen any of these these Arctic trucks, You understand, man,
they are purpose built for something wild And we got
some cool cats from Arctic Trucks US. If you go
to that website Arctic Trucks US. Seth and Chris join

(52:55):
us now, and man, what a cool So Chris, I'll
I'll love the first question in your lap.

Speaker 7 (53:03):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
All right, So Arctic Trucks, You'm a man, are an engineer.
Just explain to the common folk, that's most people out there,
why and how is an Arctic truck unique, similar and
and let's say different than what I have, like a

(53:26):
rock crawler build. So tell us how it's unique in
this in this purpose, how it's similar to others, say,
you know, common chassis or whatever F two fifties or
whatever you guys use right, and also, uh, you know
what what the thing is is destined to do? I
guess yeah.

Speaker 9 (53:46):
So they're they're unique in that they're designed to float
on the snow to go on ice roads, and they do.
They accomplish that with those really big eighty we'll call
them eighteen forty four tires. They're forty four inches tall.
They're about eighteen and a half inches walter, and we

(54:07):
can run them to one psi to get this big
of a footprints on the snow as possible.

Speaker 3 (54:14):
So it's like like snow shoes for a truck. Yes,
So people don't realize what he's talking about. When he
says one pound, he means one pound of air pressure. Now, look,
everybody has that dumb idiot light in their car that
says all air pressure low. Here's the inflator in the trunk.
What does inflator? What you don't realize is when you

(54:36):
can lock these beads down on the rim where we
can you know, have this big, huge tire. He says
it's forty four inches, that's the heighth of it. He
said it was eighteen plus wide. Now, when you squash
that tire down to one pound of air pressure, you
can see what happens in your mind, that footprint, the
contact patch on the snow gets bigger and bigger and

(54:58):
flatter and just mushyear and allows that the weight of
the vehicle to be distributed over a wider area. And
therefore when he just got this floating on snow, you
would totally have that effect with these big vehicles. Imagine y'all,
imagine having that in a snowstorm in like Denver. You know,
I live in over County. Uh, just whatever, having one

(55:19):
of these trucks, you just blow by everything, snowplows and
all of a suddenly, don't mind me, I'm just hauling
after work. These trucks are wild, man, They're crazy. So, yeah,
that's definitely unique and different about them. What else were
you thinking?

Speaker 9 (55:37):
Well, so they're similar to say, rock crawlers and even
maybe like desert racers in that we try to optimize
the suspension system. We use you know, high quality remote
reservoir shock absorbers. We maximize the suspension travel while minimizing
the lift.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
I noticed. Yeah, so a lot of times people like,
I've got a rock crawler. It's on you know, forties,
and it's got a lot of lyft to it because
we want that that height to crawl over top of
big boulders and the clearance underneath the vehicle be able
to step over them and so forth. These have a
little different approach. But what's unique about these Think about

(56:21):
that little different approach, meaning they're lower than a rock crawler,
but the travel, the suspension they have to absorb these
crazy impacts and these you know don't being on top
of snow or you never know what's under the snow,
just under it. So what looks like a big you know,
poof of snow could be a big ass log boater
or whatever. So they're able to absorb all these impacts,

(56:41):
you know, probably at a substantial speed and do it
a way that didn't you know, just decimate the truck,
which is what's gonna happen if you're out there doing
this in a regular truck or a regular f two
fifty ric.

Speaker 9 (56:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we run you know, we try to
build them with leven to thirteen inches of wheel travel,
which is similar to what you get in Rock Crawler.
And yeah, that way you can when when you get
a chance to fall across the snow, you can run
them at fifty miles an hour and bounce across the whoops. Yeah,

(57:17):
you know, we've got we've got three trucks that just
traveled across Antarctica. And yeah, that's what they were doing.
They were you know, we run the central tire inflation
system so you can air these tires up and down
without getting out of the cab. And so yeah, once
you hit some good snow, you can air them up

(57:38):
a little bit and you can run across the snow
in Antarctica. And they went from one end of our
Antarctica across the South Pole and to the other end.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
That's nuts. They didn't fall off. They didn't get to
the big wall and fall off. It was not I mean, wa,
whoa you hear that they didn't fall off. They would
were one into the other. They didn't. The trucks are
still here. They didn't fall off.

Speaker 4 (58:01):
Are you sure?

Speaker 3 (58:02):
Flat earthers, where are you at same trucks, same trucks.

Speaker 4 (58:05):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (58:06):
They're out there with the Tesla floating space dude, they
didn't fall out, you flat earthers. I had a flat
earther come in one time, y'all. They tried to argue
you flat earth?

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (58:17):
I prove it with a water bottle. We had an
hour conversation with that with that guy, and by the
time he left, everybody that was listening, and including Scoop
and I were both dumber for it. It was like,
you made zero sense and absolutely wasted an hour of
my life. We'll never go get back and just confused everybody. Huh. Anyway,

(58:40):
I'm glad you guys did not fall off. That's amazing. Now,
how would these So I'm a big fan of Glamos.
Do you know Glamis? Oh yeah, okay, So when I
think about like high end buggies I've been in for
a number of years. There was this guy out of
California that made these one hundred, one hundred and fifty
thousand dollars Sandrails called Buckshot Racing, and for honest to god,

(59:04):
for ten years I was on the front page of
Buckshot Racing because I rode passenger for nothing more than
listen this nothing more than ballast. There was a there
was a jump on the Crusty Demons of Dirt, one
of the Crusty Demons of Dirt videos that this guy
wanted to do on his in his sand rail. He
needed a guy that weighed two hundred and twenty whatever pounds.

(59:28):
I was his huckleberry out of the group of people
that were there, all of those motocrossers, because he's like,
you're not afraid to jump. And I'd been with him
a couple of times and had not him from another
buddy of motocross race with the Red bro. So he
introduced me this guy. We've been out there for a
few days. He goes, Yo, I need you. I'm going
to do this jump. If you just hang on through
the oat bar, you'll be fine. You don't even have

(59:49):
to open your eyes. And I'm like, no, man, I'll
hold on, but my eyes open. I'm your huckleberry. I
do I do not mind riding passenger at all, you know,
on ae hundred foot jump in a sand rail. So yeah, man,
we went. Dude. It was epic, man, and it floated
like I mean, it was you couldn't ask for a
smoother jump, you know, one hundred foot of sandrails doing something.

(01:00:09):
But he had that photo on his on his front
page forever. And to me, when I think about being
able to absorb a lot of those whoops and a
lot of those scenarios, you know, I think of those
type buggies and rails and and that type of terrain
is going over you know, Antarctica. Something similar is that

(01:00:33):
is that you know, similar to how the truck has
got to be able to absorb move and I imagine
it's so much better than a snowmobile because it's just
what you can carry, right.

Speaker 9 (01:00:43):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:00:44):
We've got two two struck off at the mine the
Hudson Bay and they've replaced snowmobiles. They've been on snowmobiles
for ten years doing mineral exploration, uh huh, and two
trucks in one season. They're operating us by half because
they were able to carry more in the truck and

(01:01:07):
not have to have preposition supplies and whatnot.

Speaker 9 (01:01:11):
They had to do helicopter drop.

Speaker 7 (01:01:14):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:01:15):
Yeah, because when you think about it, so much quicker
than a SnowCat can carry so much more than a
similar bill much more same scenario. If you think in
side by sides, you've seen all side by side with
tank trades on them, crapped like that with the things.
Those are good, but they don't carry enough supplies. You
can't you know, load her down. So you know your

(01:01:36):
best option it would be a pickup truck. But how
do you get a pickup truck to handle that environment? Well,
Arctic Trucks US dot no, Arctic Trucks dot us uh,
and you'll see exactly how these guys are able to
conquer this type terrain. What's really cool is these guys
are local, like they're you know, they're listening to us

(01:01:56):
right now, whether the dudes are on the radio, like
you can go see these dudes right they're they're actually
trying to bring some of these down for the cruise
next week. Correct.

Speaker 10 (01:02:05):
Yeah, we don't have any any of our forty four
inch tire bells right now, but we do have an
F five fifty that's a six by four with been
made into an RG into a camper.

Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
Six F five fifty made into a camper. Whoever made
that into a camper? I just hold on, y'all just
want to that's it. Sorry, Our man right there, guaranteed
a man right, Yeah, that's our boy right there, that's
our man. That's our man, just saying that's our dude,
all right, So that's gonna be cool. It's funny because

(01:02:44):
when you say you don't have anything on forty four's
right now, that just means somebody needs to call and
get a project going. Yeah man, when all right? When
do you think about these trucks brought? You said, a
five fifty? What's the noise?

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Normal?

Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
Like, what do you start with? What do you what
is if somebody were called up and say I want
to you know, an Arctic truck? What is your go
to to modify? Do you have a go to or
you let them choose that, or you guys have something
you start with.

Speaker 10 (01:03:16):
So most of our builds are based off of the
Super Duty platform, So enough two fifty, three, fifty or five,
and then it just kind of depends on what your
end game is, what it is you wanted to do,
and so that'll determine between a regular pickup or a
cab and the chassis. Cab starts with nothing behind the

(01:03:37):
cab at all, just a bare frame.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (01:03:40):
Okay, we're also going to be bringing the Ford Lightning
that we've done a thirty seven inch tire build on it.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
All right? Hold up for people that are out there
scratching their head. You said a Ford Lightning, Yeah, the
older Ford Lightning.

Speaker 9 (01:04:00):
No, the new one?

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Oh? Oh is it is that electric one? Yeah? Okay,
all right, so let's get a clarify. I know a
lot of people were like, wait a minute, wouldn't that
they're fast, like you know, uh, okay, so Ford Lightning
is their new ev offering, right, but you all put
one on thirty sevens yep.

Speaker 10 (01:04:20):
Correct, And this one has actually driven from recodect Iceland
to the top of their glacier and back down.

Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
Doesn't the extreme cold have a derogatory effect on the battery.

Speaker 7 (01:04:35):
A little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Yet?

Speaker 10 (01:04:37):
In fact, we were part of an ext edition that
the whole point of it was to drive an electric
vehicle from the magnetic North Pole across the South Pole,
and they sponsored specifically.

Speaker 7 (01:04:50):
To do the battery test.

Speaker 10 (01:04:52):
And see what the longevity, what the different temperature ranges
and how that affects. So the extreme cold of the
North Pole and the South Pole.

Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
Later well, meaning you did look scoot, they didn't fall off,
They went all the way across the magnetic pole. They
did not fall off an electric vehicle. Okay, they didn't Hello,
flat earthers, they did not fall off repeats. They went
all the way across the Antarctica and did not fall
off of Earth. Just uh yeah, okay, good to know.

(01:05:31):
All right, So, Arctic trucks dot US if you want
to go check these out, you said you start with
the F two fifty go up from there. Uh, you're
bringing down a couple of wild built vehicles. Who who's
your clients? Like?

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Who?

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
When do you think of Arctic trucks? These are wild
build really crazy to kind of see. You got to
have people from all over the world, you know, kind
of interested and entertained by these type builds.

Speaker 9 (01:05:59):
Oh yeah, yeah, definitely. So we've got two trucks that
probably in about an hour will be arriving on the
north slope of Alaska. They we finished these two trucks.
They were f two fifty crew cab long beds that
we put on forty four inch tires. We did our
unique four link air suspension on the rear end. We

(01:06:22):
shipped them to the South end of Alaska. They just
finished driving from the South end of Alaska. A thousand
miles to Prudeo Bay up into the Arctic, and they're
going to start working up in the Arctic of Alaska.
We've got we've got a whole fleet down in Antarctica,
hall and scientists around. And we also have a franchise

(01:06:46):
out in Dubai. You were talking about the sand there's
a franchise in Dubai. They build Arctic trucks for the
sand out there.

Speaker 3 (01:06:54):
Whoa really yeah, wow, yeah man, you know what we
are thinking about the truck having all that traveling suspension.
The last thing you wanted saying is to have it
have a high center of gravity if you can, if
you can lower that CG, the truck's gonna handle and
perform a million times better. What happens if you have

(01:07:16):
a you know, higher center of gravity, well you just
you tip over and roll. You just you know you do.
And you know for anybody that my F two fifty is.
Per example, my F two fifty got stolen in January
and it was totaled. The reason it was totaled the
douchebag Dave that stole the truck. He went out he

(01:07:37):
was north of Commerce City, kind of close to the airport.
He was taking to a chop shop out there. He
shoved it in. This dude's a cornfield that he mowed
down and he was out there trying to do donuts.
So he was doing donuts and my truck ripped pretty hard,
so I'm sure he's throtting it. Well, it just bounced
because it caught a bunch of third and then next

(01:07:58):
time it goes to crush the suspension it's landing, his
suspension crushes it unloads. He's got it on both on
the power and the wheels turned with a high CG.
He's gonna roll over on slid And that's exactly what happened,
just flip right upside down boot and then they got out,
walked away. So totally right. Well, if you have, if
you have ways to you know, take that roll effect

(01:08:21):
and eliminate it. But still, you know, put all his power, travel, suspension,
all the fun stuff that makes it so addicting. Uh,
And you can go out there and straight get wild
with it. You know how to drive. You don't run
out of talent halfway through the turn. You Uh, dude,
sky's the limit. You couna have a freaking rip with
some of these trucks, especially god, Klamus is just you've

(01:08:43):
never been there. Even though they shut down a bunch
of acreage on the thousands of acres of Glamis, it's
still enormous. God man, I love it. That's a that's
the ultimate playground for anything, you know, toy or truck
or dirt bike or side by side related. Put it
through Glamus and like it's gonna handle anything. It's crazy
out there. So you guys have trucks specifically built for

(01:09:06):
desert conditions, like to buy and clamors that type stuff.
It's that's got to be a blast man, to let
those things eat out there. That's fun.

Speaker 9 (01:09:14):
Yeah, yeah, all.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Right, cool man. And I'm imagining because these are specifically
built with an immense amount of technology. These are well
probably pretty damn pricey, but at the same point, these
are you almost have to have what you think about
them as like survival rigs, right, because if you're out

(01:09:37):
in conditions that these things thrive in, that these are
really the only vehicles. Think about how cold it is
and some of the places they're describing, what are some
of the temperatures that these trucks are out there living in.

Speaker 9 (01:09:51):
So I was earlier well April of last year, I
went up to the More Slope of Alaska to deliver
to the trucks to us from up there, and we
were driving from Prudho Bay, and we spent twenty two
hours in the trucks driving from village to village. We

(01:10:11):
got out of the truck, it was minus thirty five
degrees with a thirty mile an hour wind, which put
it at about a minus fifty degrees outside temperature.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
I mean, look, that's hoodie weather. For people who don't
understand that, that's y'ah, that's hoodie weather. When you say
drive from village to village, are there roads that you're
driving on? Or is it just like, yo, man, here's
a longitude latitude deal, it's not Is it something you
put in Google Maps? Or is it just like, uh,

(01:10:43):
go do east seventeen point eight miles and then turn
left at forty five degrees and travel, you know, eighty
one miles and you'll see a tepee, Like, what's the
what's the remedy in? Is it Google Maps or is
it roads or is it something that you know? You're
thankful to have a vehicle like that in there?

Speaker 9 (01:11:03):
Now? If you if you try to get to some
of these villages on the north end of Alaska.

Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
Google won't.

Speaker 9 (01:11:08):
We'll tell you there's no way to get there because
there are no roads. The only time that they can
travel from village to village is in the winter time
when they build these snow roads on the frozen tundra. Wow,
and that's that's what our trucks are used up there for.

Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
That's crazy. We're fire up truck. We're going to town,
all right, man, Arctic truck or trucks US trucks all right,
Arctic trucks dot us uh. And these guys are going
to bring a couple of these vehicles down and join

(01:11:47):
the cruise next week right from Cobella. Now, look for
eybody does not know whether permitting. Forecast is kind of well,
the forecast is looking like these Arctic trucks might be
the route to go. Any wait, next Saturdays, we were
playing it. Next Saturday, bring a car, your truck, your
bike out. Maybe the weather looks a little bit better.

(01:12:08):
But we're gonna meet at Cabella's off one hundred and
forty fourth. Gonna meet there from say six thirty to
you know, just before eight. We'll try to line everybody
up and I'll see if we can get a little
help from maybe Jeff co or Thornton Police or something
to just get on I twenty five. But I'm thinking
that eight am we're rolling out of Cabella's up North.

(01:12:30):
That in case you missed it, I got permission, Yes, me,
the responsible one here in the room, not Scoop. Scoop
did not want to get permission. Matter of fact, we
was saying, nah, just do it. They don't care. I
was like, maybe they do care, because I do. I
called to God permission. See who's responsible here, Scoop me.

Speaker 4 (01:12:48):
That's me right right?

Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Not not you, not Scoop. I was so God would say, Yo,
we're gonna take over the parking lot. But y'all not
even open. And they say, you want to say, Scoop,
what they say? Thanks for letting us know. Big movies
on my part, big movies. Anyway, We're gonna leave from
there around eight am. Hop on I twenty five, roller

(01:13:10):
I seventy and into Lincoln Text Cars Show. A couple
of these big rigs are coming, A couple of cool
trucks you'll be able to see get some literature bottom
seemen action along with the other cool builds. Crazy hot rides,
muscle cars, modern muscle. I really need to reach out
to Colorado Dodge Challenger Club and see if we can

(01:13:31):
get them plugged in. They would love to do a
cruise too. So yeah, man, lots for you next week
at you know what is just an amazing car show.
So I'm hoping weather straight's die a little bit. But
that being aside, I think, you know, anytime we put
together something like this with link Attack, it is really
just amazing, way cool, really cool vehicles. How long have

(01:13:54):
you guys been I just got a text, man, I
just got a text to said, said hold on. I said,
my son is a welder. My son works at Arctic Trucks.
He's their welder, fabricated guy, he said. He said their
stuff is crazy. Next time, he's saying, so take you
up to their shopping if you want. But yeah, man,

(01:14:14):
he says, these things are you guys built some amazing,
amazing vehicles crazy? So you guys, how long have you
guys been doing that? And look think about it? Located
out of Cheyenne. You know, people think of science is
just up there chilling. Oh we're just up here doing
the cowboy thing. Cowboy up Meanwhile, you got this crazy
truck company building like some of the badass like most

(01:14:37):
wicked wild rides and f two fifties, three fifties and
everything else in the world, shipping them all over the globe.
They went to Antarctic yology, they didn't fall off. So yeah,
I mean, these guys they've been to both poles and
both times they didn't fall off. It's amazing. It's good.
It's groundbreaking science we have here on the show. But yeah,
you'll be able to see these things next week the

(01:14:59):
rock and roll cars and in the cruise, so that's
always cool too. Man. All right, I gotta ask, what
is what is the most expensive truck you guys have
ever built?

Speaker 10 (01:15:14):
Our six sixes? In fact, actually this five fifty that
we're bringing down because it's a full camper conversion and whatnot,
that one's got the highest price tag on it right now.

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
Really, dude, whoever that redneck father mucker was that that
decided to make a camper out of a F five
fifty and made it six wheel drime. I love this man,
whoever he is, Temmy, He's got fans. Hopefully he'll be
driving and signing autographs next next weekend. That thing is awesome. Dude,
a freaking a camper, an R and B on forty fours.

(01:15:47):
Shut the front door, dude, you just flex on everybody
at the Koa campground like, shut up, Okay, it's awesome.
That's awesome, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:15:58):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:15:58):
Well, hey, Austin, you got have tackled this. You're in
Cheyenne up there killing it and I can't wait to
see some of these vehicles. Hey, maybe if look, if
you guys are up in Cheyenne, I know a lot
of friends up there. They've got a great look. Let
me just hats off to Cheyenne, by the way for
their car community, their cruising on Saturday nights. Went up
there last year and did one of them it is.

(01:16:18):
It's a blast you guys. When you guys haven't rolling
this year, let me know, me and the family come
back up. We'll have some fun with it. But honestly, guys,
Cheyenne's car culture is amazing. But maybe if you guys want,
you get with these guys Seth and Chris at Arctic
Trucks and you guys put a cruise from Cheyenne down
to Cabela's. Kind of anybody wants to do it. Reach

(01:16:41):
out to uh, reach out to these guys. I know,
we got a lot of listeners in Cheyenne. Maybe we'll
talk about that some this week. Maybe meet up with
you guys. You guys got a phone number up there
in Cheyenne. Yeah, Scoop, Scoop, hold on, hold on, I
got to catch Scoop. They got these crazy things called
phones in Cheyenne. Are you sure it's not a telegraph? No,
it's phone.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
OK.

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
They're gonna tell us the number right now. You just
dial these numbers and you can they pick up the
hello and you actually converse with.

Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
Them one ring a dingy to ring a dingy.

Speaker 3 (01:17:09):
I'm just keeping Scoop up the pace here. He he's slow,
all right, So what's the phone number?

Speaker 10 (01:17:15):
Three oh seven, three one six, three seven eight fives?

Speaker 3 (01:17:22):
All right? Arctic trucks. I bet people will get thrown
out by that first word. Ah, man, you mean God
can't get a one built for dirt and the desert. Man,
I don't take God, dare man get a little ye haul.
Uh don't be full by that first that first word.

Speaker 9 (01:17:38):
Uh don't be all right. We're gonna be in Moab.
Eastern Jeep story damn really we got We got a
truck we're building right now. Unfortunately we won't be ready
this weekend or next weekend, but we're gonna We built
a f two fifty. We took a long bed regular
cab we converted into a short bed.

Speaker 3 (01:17:59):
Oh how you bobbed a little bit? How much you
have to cut off the back of it a foot
and a.

Speaker 9 (01:18:03):
Half two feet. It's got four link air suspension in
the rear and four of the We're gonna be running
forty two inch tires on it. We're gonna be crawling
on the rocks.

Speaker 3 (01:18:16):
Do you like the articulation you get out of the
air suspension? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:18:21):
Yeah, it gets good articulation.

Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
Oh all right, Yeah, I'm taking my gap to Moab
for the Adventure Trail deal uh and and putting it
to the test. I'm excited. I love Moabs, So I'd
be stuck to see one of all the chucks out
there that's sick on an air suspension on the air scoop.
They did not fall off.

Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
I'm still notice that.

Speaker 3 (01:18:45):
They like, hey, you know how you can draw your
map out? Like there was this story about some dude
in Manhattan through the biggest penis the other day on

It's packed.

Speaker 5 (01:20:00):
There's gonna be a handful of flat Earthers that are
gonna come confront you.

Speaker 3 (01:20:04):

like they went the boat in bitches. Yeah, Flat Earth

some rope. This is the rope we hung off the
end of the world with I met. Hey, great catching out.

do you want to go everywhere? I just watched some movie.

(01:20:47):
Uh oh god, it was it's pretty good. What was
the movie where it's like he was you walk so straight?
Look there's a bolder in his way. He won't even
step around it, willie. Any dude steps on it and
then jumps off of it. He goes, oh see, I
told you, you know it's some Like, oh, it's some
Is it a space movie? What movie? Is that y'all?

(01:21:10):
I don't know. It's right up here like Marvel Alley.
Oh okay, oh god, what is that movie? Oh? Oh
is it Dungeons and Dragons? Is that Dungeons and Dragons? Oh?
The dude's in green. He's like, you know, you only
need one guy. But he's like, you believe in yourself

(01:21:32):
some crap like that. But as he's walking away doing
the superhero walk, like you know, the dudes that hit
the explosion, they never look back at it. It's just
boom and they're just walking off like, oh my job.
It was kind of like that, and he's like climbing
on a little bit. He's like, oh, look at it
so much or whatever. Blood he's Look, he always walks
so straight. Look there's a bouter right in his way.
He won't even step around. Oh no, see right on

(01:21:53):
top of oh, right over it. See he always just
walks so straight.

Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
I think it's got I think he's got Millie Bobby
Brown in it. M I think I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
Somebody may know the answer to that, or was an
electric state?

Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
Was that it? I mean one you watched it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:18):
I didn't watch the whole thing. Oh I watched the beginning,
and I watched the end. I slept her about the
mill hour.

Speaker 3 (01:22:24):
Yeah, she is in that didn't She is an electric state.
I mean, somebody help me out, Please throw me a bone.
All right, we gotta go to break so I want
to seventy nine kvps.

Speaker 1 (01:22:35):
Willybe's garage.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
You're back in Willybe's garage.

Speaker 1 (01:22:43):
What up?

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
Y'all will be garaged? They kind of flew by. Man,
oh crazy? Looking forward to next week when we do
that cruise, we'll keep well, keep you kind of posted.
This week is too. I mean whether you pull it
the ap right down, it's like forty five or fifty
degrees for the high so not necessarily the best. But
we'll keep you up to date as that gets close.
So you know how it is, man, one week into

(01:23:04):
the next, you just never know. Who knows. Chances are
probably mid sixties.

Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
And you know, Sonny, they said we were supposed to
have thunder at six am today and that didn't happen,
so no, it was who knows.

Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
Yeah, someone's shunning at my house at six am. Stop rating.
But then anyway, look it's uh, we'll keep posting on that.
It's gonna be a blast. Regardless. So you come out,
bring you know, your car, truck, bike, whatever. We'd love
to have you. Kabella's up north of one hundred and
forty fourth, and like I said, we're gonna meet up there.

(01:23:38):
I'll start sharing a bunch of the social media stuff
now because it's a week out, but on top of that,
I think it will Yeah, it'd be a great way
to show, you know, I think everybody met Presley and
her family that we still think about her, and what
a great way to honor her and the fight that

(01:23:58):
she put up. And I think, yeah, with the fifty
to fifty raffle and things that Lincoln Teckers are doing
to honor her as well, what a cool, cohesive way
to celebrate Presley. It's gonna be awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:24:11):
And on that note this week I mentioned earlier, I
got to catch you up real fast on the Dad Chronicles,
but I got the charger back up and running. I
meant to call the JB Well dude. For anybody that's
a card enthusiast out there, these little JB. Weld kids
sometimes will save your butt. So I blew hole the

(01:24:31):
oil pan last June and JB welded it once previously,
I got this old school oil pan and my sixty
nine dollars charger, and I got a car jacked up
now on the torsion bars, so it's a little bit
higher than what it normally is when I'm drag racing
the car, and I thought it'd be enough to protect
the oil pan. It was for several cruises and several

(01:24:54):
road adventures on this you know charger of mine, except
when I was coming home the last time. There's for
everybody that's ever seen this, where concrete switches over to pavement,
those tend to sometimes have an upheaval of either payment
or end or concrete. Well, there's this upheaval of payment.
I didn't see it, and it kind of is in

(01:25:15):
a dip where the concrete meets the payment. Anyway, I
smashed my old pen on that thing. The car bled out,
It rattled a little bit before I shut it down,
and I thought I might have spun a bearing or
at least damage bearing. This week i pulled it in,
I saw that the hole was a lot smaller than
what I initially thought, so I was like, you know what,

(01:25:37):
before I go pull the whole carriage out of this car,
pop the engine out of the carriage the old pant
off look at the barriers to see if I heard anything.
Why don't I just JB Well, just again and then
put some oil in it and see if it's okay.

Speaker 5 (01:25:53):
For a non car person. What is the component in
JB weld? It's just it's all steel a POxy. So
there's steel A POxy is just.

Speaker 3 (01:26:05):
It's it's two liquids that kind of come together and
it makes a it makes the solid.

Speaker 4 (01:26:13):
They reach a plastic.

Speaker 3 (01:26:15):
Yeah, they react with each other like a metal plastic.
And this particular one is called steel stick. It's an
epoxy that you put on rubber. You put on rubber
gloves and you need the epoxy with your fingers and
then you apply it. It is almost like a plato
when you apply it, and it hardens to a really

(01:26:36):
really heat. It's very good with heat. Goes up to
like twelve hundred and fifteen hundred degrees before it affects it.
And it's malleable until you form it, and then it
sets in an hour and it as hard as rock.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Is it more metally than bondo much? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
Yeah, significantly more? And you turns metally.

Speaker 4 (01:27:01):
Because Bondo is more like a clay right.

Speaker 3 (01:27:03):
Yeah, you can't. You can't hurt this stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:27:06):
Okay, you like.

Speaker 3 (01:27:09):
You could whack away with the hammer and hurt it.
Uh so yeah, so it's tough. So I put that
stuff on there. Eh. You know what, it's got a
little tiny, tiny, tiny tiny gyp from a different area.
I'm gonna go up. I'll train the oil out of
it one more time this week, uh, save it, and
then I'll do one more repair on this little old

(01:27:30):
pan deal. But I'm just gonna drive it till the
end of summer and pop it out. I've got another
short block ready to go in it, so it's not
gonna be a big deal to switch it over. But
I don't. I don't have the time. I got other
projects right now. And it was a big headache that
I didn't have to worry about because I fired it up. Man,
I had old pressure barrings, look good, car sounded great.
I shared some pictures on the Instagram. Will you underscore

(01:27:51):
KVPI on Instagram? I got another picture I gotta share
called the charger chop toop because as it was going
in the ground, it's like room, room room. Every time
we go room, I would just lay down a little
print of the tire because it was so it was
just hitting the lick. I was like, God, that's cool.
So that's a car drove last time. I plan to
bring that out this time and use it on the Cruise,
kind of like the maiden Voyage for the year. So

(01:28:13):
that's gonna be cool. If not that car, probably one
of the other hot rides. But yeah, man dust them out,
get him out, has some fun. Next Saturday a week
from today, and it all goes for a great cause,
great car show. Uh really, it's gonna be a blast.
So excited for that and excited to, uh just work
on some of my own cars. I gotta rebuild this,

(01:28:34):
you know. I used to I would used to say,
if you were gonna store a car, it would be
much better to have a carbureted car. But nowadays I think,
feeling Jackson, if you're gonna store a car, Fielding Jackson
just seems to be a little bit better. I stored
this Chevelle. I have a sixty nine Chevelle Man I
pulled it out because the chargers been blocking everything since June.

(01:28:57):
I pulled this sixty nine Chevelle out. Car raitors just
bleeding all over it. So coming out to float bows
flow bowl stuck, I'm whacking the flow bowl and then
it's the little bleed little gasket linking on the thing
and the power battle leaking a little bit. You're like, God,
I feeling Jaxon's way to go. Man, let's switch them
all over all right, we'll time called rat will it

(01:29:17):
be his garage? Done for this weekend. We'll be back
doing the broadcast live from Lincoln Tech next week. And
that's always a blast. Like I said, they open the campus,
it always gives everybody just an amazing, you know view
of that footprint that is Lincoln Tech. It is. It
is vast, it is huge, and it really gets you
a chance to walk see all the shops, the bays,

(01:29:40):
the areas they have for students to learn for you
as well. So check that out next week he's broadcast live.
She got to charge a big fund there. Back at
it on Monday. Scoobay plans for the rest of the weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:29:53):
Three D printing. I'm in that design mode right now.

Speaker 3 (01:29:56):
All right, he's creating. Oh real fast, I'm gona catch
you up with dad chronicles. My dad got his motorcycle.
He didn't get help sitting on the motorcycle.

Speaker 4 (01:30:05):
The other day, I had a buddy come over.

Speaker 3 (01:30:07):
He had a buddy come over and look help lift
his leg onto the bike. They didn't move the bike,
They didn't take it like anywhere. They didn't move it anywhere.
He just had a dude hold his leg and his
torso up so that he could use his other leg
and lift himself onto the bike. So that happened the

(01:30:27):
other day, and he decided he needed protection. He need
he needed a guard to go around the engine and
the guards that he puts on the end of the
handlebars in case, this is my dad, in case he
lays it down, it doesn't bust anything on the engine.

(01:30:47):
So my dad stopped by my brothers and he asked
my brother to bend a wrench so he could finish
assembling this small cage, this ecdo skeleton that goes around
around the cylinders and the engine and the handlebar to
protect the bike. On the rare occasionally he may lay
it down. Now that's a six hundred pounds bike. There's

(01:31:09):
no way he's gonna be able to lift it up.

Speaker 4 (01:31:10):
So before he added the cage, yes.

Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
Yes, And so my dad plans to drive it this week.
This first week they've had good weather. He's got the
eco skeleton cage thing on the bike or he's doing
that this weekend. And my dad his plan is to
ride the motorcycle this week. We'll keep you posted, stupid Yeah,

(01:31:37):
all right, miss, We'll see you guys. We'll see you
guys on Monday. If you're a first spunner veteran, thank
you so much. Have a great rest of your weekend.
It's about seven nine KVPI.
