(00:03):
Garage. Willie Bee's garage is nowopen. Hold on, y'all, I'm
gonna stretch. Hang. I justwas like, okay, okay, good,
I'm good. God, we canstart it. We started showing,
gotta stretch. We're good. What'sup you guys. Welcome to it man
his garage. Been a minute andexcited to be kicking this thing off from
(00:24):
Lovely today, like right in theheart of loveling, we got something really
really kind of cool, kind ofunique, different and I'm just looking at
ocean the cool cars. Like, man, there's some cool stuff here today.
So what is it? The bluesand cruise baby. First, we
gotta get a shout out. Ozzy'sBody Shop is the reason we're up here
broadcasting. Shout out to a man. Uh it a cru at Azsie's body
(00:44):
Shop up here on the north sidelevel. That's a real deal. Like
if you're looking for a bodyshop todo like actual metalwork versus like insurance jobs
and patch panels, I mean theydo that too, but that's that's home
base for it. So shout outto those guys. So while we here,
man Grace upond Grace. Basically it'spersonal items. We're kind of focusing
on diapers, but they help lowincome families, uh kids, just the
(01:08):
personal items the kids need. Uh. And on top of that, we
got a little special. So we'reat the corner of Fourth and Cleveland,
basically packed full of hot rids,Like, no joke, right in front
of me. When's the last timeyou guys seen a grimlin X. We
were talking about this a minute ago, being like three or four other full
grown men, full grown men issitting in the corner and we're all like,
yo, man, check out thegrimlyin next. That's kind of a
(01:32):
it's kind of a cool car.And I guarantee you as a kid,
you would have you would have betyour right arm you would never say in
your life that a grimlin X wasa cool car. Like, guarantee you
in elementary school, the kid hasshowed up at a grimlin Next, you're
like, hasky, grimlin X.You know, he might as well show
up at a little savor, youknow. So just looking at it right
(01:53):
sitting here in twenty twenty four, that think pulls up and I'm like,
Wow, that thing's actually kind ofcool. Uh. Plus it's cut an
X on it. Who doesn't likeone x more than one X thing,
you gotta questions and or concerns. However, one X legit on top of
that Chavelle Camaros Challenger RT across herebad thing, a sweet Challenge, a
(02:16):
RT convertible which is sick. Allkinds of cool cars just stuffed here at
Fourth in Cleveland, and all kindsof cars just cruising up and down the
street. So I guess this isthe day, right if you're in the
northern area, you got a coolcar, you got a hot ride,
you got something a little a littledifferent, unique, Uh, something fast,
(02:38):
something slow, something you know, dynamic in the color with cool rims
on it, or just something sougly people just can't not stare at it.
Man, bring that thing out.Uh, Downtown level is about to
be today. Uh in this placelooks to get packed up. So we
got that. Right down the roadfrom where we're at is the Foundry.
They have a bunch of bands upon stage you could round up and help
(03:00):
the Grace upon Grace project as well. So lots of cool stuff in that
regard. And if you're up onan over side, man, I don't
care if it's chyenne. If you'rehead to Piro city get an earliest start
on the July fourth holiday. Ilove that place. Then by all means,
come on down, man. Thisis actually kind of cool. A
lot of cool old rides, alot of cool unique rides. Hell,
(03:23):
there's a dude showed up the roadrace is a station wagon. Now tell
me that dude what in a leadbased paint crib. That's that's when you
know you got dropped on your headat least twice when you road race the
station wagon. Yeah, we'll talkto him a little bit. That's fun.
On top of that's the most coolpickup trucks. So just some cool
righteous rides. Have you got something? Uh man, that's that thing off?
(03:44):
Break it out? Has the funtoday up in level to get it
on the corner of Fourth and Cleveland. So a couple things kind of you
know, on the horizon here. We're gonna have Randy Corey come on with
us. Now, Randy is justa guy that is you know, he
throws swap me's. If you're notif you're not familiar with what a swap
meat is, it's honest to god, it's just acres are cool. For
(04:06):
years he has held and kind ofkept really kind of kept the whole swap
meat tradition alive. So swap meetsare where you know, you got these
car guys, and car guys arejust known for for a hoarding, right,
It's just something all car guys theydo, you know, and we're
proud of. It's one of thosethings where you know, we probably come
(04:29):
in and tell our wives, honey, honey, that the power steering pump
bracket that you told me I didn'tneed just throw away six years ago,
just used it. Just use it. Uh huh. So you have a
lot of situations like that with carguys, car enthusiasts. They didn't hold
on the things you know, thatthey might need on the car, either
a current car or maybe a cardown the road. Well, Randy Coyd
(04:51):
and his swap meets are a greatresource to find, you know, just
an ocean of parts and really, you know some hard to find stuff.
Really you can't go to the aftermarket nowadays and find just about anything.
But it's always cooler, it's alwaysmore affordable, and it's always you know,
an option to get oe stuff. You can find it as swap meets.
(05:13):
So we'll talk to Randy. Whathappened is kind of wild because you
know, you might have seen wehad a tech car show and then that
got postponed till September, and thenshortly thereafter Randy was going to do his
swap meet at Lincoln Tech. Howeverhe couldn't get a permit or something there
at the end, so he endedup moving his swap meet to a new
(05:36):
location. We'll talk to him aboutthat. We'll talk to him about some
of the cool things we go seedown there, and not to mention some
of the cool cars out today.Man, you know, right now,
I'm just looking at a bunch ofclassics. You know, there is something
about you know, old school cars, old school lines. You know,
some of these old school street rodsand you know, muscle cars. What's
(05:57):
really cool is the adaptation of thestill mind and how people are putting you
know a lot of new technology, new drive trains, new power plants under
the hood and under the body, and you know, upgrading chassis, all
these cool things. But there issomething fantastic about some of these, you
know, these old body lines. So we're gonna talk to a few of
the builders today. Few the coolcars featured here, but hey, dust
your ride out, bring it toLoven has some fun with us. It's
(06:20):
the it's called the Blues and Cruise, so it's almost said booze and cruise.
Now, look, those are twothings that don't go well together.
However, blues and cruise, that'sa that's a different story. That's awesome.
Hey man, we can all joke. Shut up. Can you come
(06:41):
miss man, We'll come back.Have Randy on with this. Willy Bee's
garage. Glad you here today? What a Saturday too in Colorado. Hope
you're enjoying it. Back after thebreaking from one seven nine kbp I,
Willybe's garage fell back in Williebe's garage. Well, so you guys, would
(07:01):
it be as good rise? Hitit up today live from downtown Loveland.
What a cool spot too, Man, Fourth and Cleveland. That's where're broadcasting
from. Now. Why we here? We're here because some people need help.
Grace upon Grace is this project weteamed up with. Now what they
do They provide personal items. We'reasking for diapers, things like that.
So if you have diapers, personalitems, you know, think about people
(07:23):
that you know unfortunately can't afford thattype stuff. What do they need?
Things like diapers? A couple ofways to do that. You can just
drop them off right here, whichis great. Or Founderies today has a
cool thing going on a bunch ofdifferent bands. It is the Blues and
Cruise. So you get the Bluesdown there up on stage, you can
round up and all that money goesto the Grace upon Grace project as well.
Shout out to Assis for having usup here. So here's the deal
(07:45):
man. We are packed up withsome crazy cool hot rides, and I
mean wicky cool Schevelle's camaros. Dude, honestly, god, I got to
talk to the cat with the stationwagon. Some first year Camaro is looking
right. No car looks good asthe sixty nine dollars charger up here.
But I may be a little biasedin mind to do with the yellow Challenger.
(08:07):
He is cleaning his boat, y'all. This dude's he's washing every boat
on the car. But that's whatyou do when you have a yellow muscle
car. Right. If you havea black muscle car, you don't need
to because everybody's just like, ooh, that's wicked. If you have a
yellow muscle car, you have toshine every bolt. See that, there's
the difference. But he does havea matt He does have a black convertible
top on it and a matte blackstripe. You know what that means.
(08:28):
RT Baby four fortytile big block,Come up, check out the Challenger and
more. We have a grimlin Xhere. It's the only time you'll ever
see a grimlin X and be like, dang, that car is cool.
And you said it just like Idid. I'm like, what a grimlin
X. Yeah, you would havegot beat up in fourth grade for that,
but here it's awesome. So comingup fourth and Cleveland leveland dust off
(08:50):
your hot ridey truck. And here'sthe deal. When we think swap means
there is no doubt if you're acar enthusiast, there is something you niqu
about it. Swap meet. Notonly are you around so many like minded,
you know, warped individuals who justlove, you know, love the
automobile, right, whether it's youknow, my man here shining every boat,
(09:11):
whether it's the guys in the earlyCorvettes that have ls watched him or
had that old small journal three twentyseven or whatever the power plane is under
the hood enjoying that. You know. For car enthusiasts, swap meets are
something unique because it gives you anopportunity to find you know, like miunded
people up your networking, but findrighteous parts. And sometimes it's just the
(09:33):
part you've been hunting for. Othertimes it's something that you know you're gonna
need down the line, and youknow what, not a better place to
have it, not a better placeto get it. So if you're thinking
about, hey, if you're thinkingabout what I can do or what's going
on as far as you know, swap meets and you know, where's a
great one to go to check thisout? Randy Coy our boy here that's
(09:56):
gonna join us now on the show. Randy there, I'm here, Bill,
what's up doing? Great? Man? So, Randy Coy has just
been the king of cool swap meetsfor decades. He's you know, he's
got all of these things. Hetravels all over the country. He's always
got great cool things. And uh, this year, man no different.
(10:16):
But this year finding a home basefor us has been tough. We all
kind of know what happened when Vandymirclosed the doors. Uh and uh man
between you and I and well,it's just a couple, you know,
it's dude, I'm up here levelwhen they got this cool car show,
this blues and cruise deal going on, and a bunch of the old school
colorad street out log guys are here, and we were, you know,
(10:39):
kind of discussing. We're a littlebit nervous. There's not gonna be another
band of Mirror, if you knowwhat I'm saying. So that's something to
talk about and worry about too, bro. So welcome to the show man.
What's going on in Randy Coy's life? Hey, just getting ready?
We, like you said, hada tough time finding and then you uh,
we thought we had two or threelocked up, and different things came
up for men and other venueses, other things going on, the same,
(11:01):
dnu. So we finally found aplace. We're firmed up over at Jefferson
County Stadium at sixth and Kipling, and we're gonna be doing it June eighth,
and we're gonna start advertising. Itis Monday hard, so we can
get a lot of buyers and sellersup there so we can have a good
time. Yeah, man, dude, didn't they used to do one there
(11:22):
back in the day. I feellike there was a car show where I've
been to a car show in thatarea in that spot that's actually a great
spot for it. So cool youlanded, you know, a good spot
kind of right in the heart ofthe city. There's sixth and Kipling,
easy to get to and navigate.Again for people that don't understand the swap
meet, catch us up with someof the cool things that people might see,
(11:43):
and some of the vendors that youknow we're gonna be there, well
we you know, we we're gonnabe there with wheels and tires. And
then there's people that come a lotof garage cleaners, which is awesome.
You know, guys get the garageclean now, load up their truck and
come up and you know, sellthe thousands of buyers and uh it could
get you know, time of theyear to get all your stuff out and
(12:05):
go through it, and stuff thatyou bought that you didn't use, you
know, load it up and comeon up and we'll get you a spot
and we'll get a bunch of buyersthere and we'll have a good time and
hopefully everybody can sells and stuff andyeah, man, yeah, I mean
really, it's just it's an awesomeopportunity to score some really cool things.
Parts pieces, uh, components youknow for everything from you know the oe
(12:30):
guy looking for the oe part ofthe oe, tellt lens or it's gotta
be this that this error correct orguys just you know hodgepodges something cool in
the rat rod world together and makingthat thing stick and be cool as hell.
It doesn't matter, man, it'sjust car enthusias come together with some
really cool and righteous things. Soif you're if you're thinking, hey,
man, I got some stuff inmy garage I can sell, or I
got some stuff out back I canget rid of. Uh, how do
(12:52):
they do that? Taking people's Uhcould just call you show up? What
do they do if they want tocome up the booth and sell some stuff?
Okay, we open our seller's datesat six am, but they can
start lining up about five am.And then you say thirty dollars and it
gets you in and your truck andyou can just find we'll line you up
(13:13):
and you can start unloading, andwe let the buyers come in at seven.
It's ten dollars the person for thebuyers. So hopefully we can get
a few thousand people over there andhave a good show. Yeah, man,
all right, awesome, So basicallyone of the things, we just
show up that day, so we'llget the word out. Pass it around.
Man, it's gonna be basically sixand Kipling. What's that facility called
(13:35):
again, it's Jefferson County Stadium atsix and Kipling County Southeast corner. Yep,
Jefferson County Stadium. All right, man, that is about to be.
That's gonna be June eighth. Isthat Saturday? That's right, Saturday
is June eighth, man, awesome, all right, Saturday, June eighth,
beg Granny Coy's swap meet. Ifyou have anything to sell. You
(13:58):
got mount of here Ls stuff. You got old school Chevy stuff. Oh
cool, old school forward stuff, old school mo part stuff. Call me
in the more part stuff. Pleasecall me in the more part stuff.
Just let just get in line.Man, let your friends know about it.
Start spreading the word. Buyrus sellerskind of everything in between. Randy's
(14:18):
a great guy, always does anawesome job. And the swap meets to
new home for it. So let'sget the word out. Make that a
big event. June eighth, JeffersonStadium is spot Kipling up there in the
heart of the city. So I'llbe good man, no excuse not to
get there and near least, soplan on it and we'll see there.
June eighth is the time, andI'm sure i'll talk to you again before
that that day comes. Bro okay, perfect man. Thanks, Hey,
(14:43):
Randy, Just a side note.Side note, as a as a guy
who travels all over the country, you've been to if I had to guess
the number, say, okay,Randy, what's the number of car shows
that you've attended in your life? What would that number be? Randy?
Oh man, I do forty somethinga year, so I didn't to say
(15:03):
how old I am, but Iprobably sixteen, I guess plus. Yeah,
I mean over you over your career, say to say, a couple
of thousand. I imagine since youwere a kid. You know, So
can can you mind? Would youmind? Just for clarification, what's the
ugliest color on a on a musclecar? I think it's yellow? Huh.
(15:28):
I mean, look between you andme and three other people here,
it's gotta be right. Yeah. No, Well, you know, I'm
just asking. I'm asking personally.Maybe it's just me, you know what
the worst one is? Though thechallenger makes it look good. I'm not
gonna lie the worst one yellow Corvette, yellow Covette. Whoevers got a yellow
(15:52):
Corvette. I was gonna buy it. I was gonna buy a Corvette back
a couple of years ago when Iwas buying some Carson Jacq Clay woof and
uh, I say, man,I'll buy a I'll buy a Corvette,
a CE five. He's looking fora C five. You got one of
those? And my buddy says yes. And I said, okay, man,
I'll buy it if it's as longas it's any color except for yellow.
And he said always yellow. It'slike I can't do it. On
(16:17):
a personal note, I'm not allowedto as a full grown man. I
can't buy a yellow Corvette. UhNo, I'm just kidding. I'm just
kidding. Well, I could haveto be cheap though. All right,
Randy can't wait to see it,June Ape man. Uh, that's gonna
be a blast, Randy Coy swapmeat. See then and there, buddy,
And thanks so much for your time. Randy's always cool catching up in
(16:38):
front of you. Ah right, buddy, see you soon. All right,
there you go, Randy Coyle.I'd be a fun swap meet Man,
no joke he got, Dude.I'm telling you you if you've never
been to swap Me, this wildbecause you know what, dude, this
is one of those things you canbring your your spouse to your significant other
because here's what's gonna happen. You'relooking for car parts, right, she's
(17:00):
looking for Walart. And trust me, this Walart is so much better than
live laugh, laugh, love orwhatever the crap garbage script that people put
on their walls. Nowaday, youcan get some cool antiques, get some
cool like car like Walart versus youknow, laugh, love, hugs,
whatever, you know, sprun yourwall over your kitchen table and think that's
(17:21):
cool. Now that's cilling. Getsome antiques, get some Walart, get
some kind of cool gar stuff upthere because you don't want people talk about
that. And this is this isactually a great spot for it. So
if you're thinking about, hey man, what to do on June eighth,
go out to swap Meet. It'sit's wildly fun. It's just one of
them things, honestly, God,you know what you're looking for a you
know, an old mini bike ora you know the front you know clip
(17:45):
for a seventy kmaroalsz e twenty eight. You never know what you're gonna see
out there, but they have aton of it, and his usually brings
in everybody. So if you're lookingfor something cool to do, mark that
down. June eighth. All right, we gotta speak with the man behind
this this today. So it's ablues and cruise. I mean, if
you got a hot ride, ifyou got a you know, I don't
care if it's modern muscle, oldschool. We're in a street full of
(18:07):
old school stuff right now and thatsuits me pretty well because I brought the
sixty nine dollars charger up. UhSo, if you're looking to get out
in your hot ride, your musclecar, your modern muscle, hey man,
day up in eleven is the dayto do it. It's just cool
to seeing all these cars. Youknow, when you when you see a
street lined with classics, and I'llbe honest, every one of them is
righteous. Every one of them isjust unbelievably cool. Uh yeah, man,
(18:33):
when when yeah, yeah, thatwas fine. When you're uh,
when you're on when you're on astreet like this and you see nothing but
but cars like this, and that'sprobably probably forty of them, fifty of
them just right in front of me. Dude, that is something you can
uh, you can't, you can'treplace. You never see an old school
city street lined up with old schoolrighteous hot rides. Uh, classic Chavelles,
(18:56):
Corvettes, street rides. We gotsome of the tri files represent a
few, uh first two Camaros.Uh, definitely some Dodges, true to
my heart here. Uh it's themost cool pickups, just really cool.
Even though it school jeep up here, it looks like it it will do
some damage as well. So somereally cool classics we can check out.
We'll talk to a couple of thebuilders, Uh, see what was on
(19:18):
their mind when they chose whatever theircar. The discipline is, so that'd
be fun. Uh. Not tomention the guy who's I guess he's road
racing the station wagon. I'm notsure what happened to him as a youngster.
Uh, but we'll have some funwith that. And look, opportunity
is all over, man, getyour get your heart right out, get
your car out, and it goesfor a great cause. If you can
stop buying with some diapers. Uh, look, I hate to break this
(19:41):
to you, but Scoop needs them. I mean, I mean, no,
we need it for the Grace uponGrace Project. Uh scoop diapers is
totally different. So if you're uhyeah, if you're cook any of those,
that would be cute though that wouldbe a photo. Uh. Anyway,
if you're out about it the NorthSide, grass and diapers, just
(20:02):
think, you know, just thinkpersonal items for little kiddos. And you
know that's a scenario now. It'sgetting tougher and probably unfortunately more and more
in need of things like that becausepeople are up against the wall, whether
it's ford and groceries and keeping thelights on and putting food on the table.
Everything's a little tougher nowadays. Soa lot of people that need it,
(20:23):
and if you could supply some diapers, some personal items little kiddos,
that would be a huge welcome.A couple ways to do it. You
can just bring it here or atFounders, which is this cool little pub
right down the road from where we'reat basically got blues on stage all day.
You could round up for anything toget over there, whether it's a
beer or a burger, you couldround up. And it goes to the
(20:44):
Grace upon Grace Project as well.So we'll be back in just a minute.
Talking to the most school guys andcor Street out laws, Jason kind
of man behind this whole deal, and some of cool builders of these cars.
We'll be right back. We'll bejust garad that with. You.
Just want to have a nine KVPI Willy Bee's garage. You're back in
(21:07):
Willie Bee's garage. What up youguys? What the Bees garage? Welcome
to it? Man, what anawesome Saturday afternoon it is here in Colorado.
Who glad you spending time with you? A little shout out, I'm
looking at one of Lovel's finest lookslike Loveln's Police Department. Check it out
the industry. Shout out to thoseguys, man, I will tell you
(21:29):
Thornton Police down in Denver a coupleweeks ago for Presley's parade. Man,
what a huge, huge help theywere. Shout out to those guys,
other men and women in blue. You got all kinds of support from this
end for me for sure, Sogood to see these guys down here.
Here's the deal, man, Ijust saw a bad ass nineteen seventy dollars
charge a roll through here. RThad to go wing it was blue that
(21:52):
thing was sweet. Man had achallenger behind it. I'll tell you,
I don't know where they went, but they did need to come back up
to fourth. I think they're onFish. So there's several streets you know
that are just packed full of reallycool hot rods, all kinds of like
wild school muscle cars and just thingsthat sounded like they got some big time
power rolling the streets of Leveling. So you got some cool dust it off,
(22:15):
bring it out, have some fun, man, roll it down the
streets. We don't care us whatit's all about. Get these things out
right them the man kut of behindthis whole thing. Jason joins us now
on the show. Jason, myman, Jason Gozalez. We go back
forever. This is like a colorStreet outlaw like reunion up here. We'll
talk to Clinton a couple of otherboys here in just a second. But
Jason, welcome to the show.Man. How you been good? Good?
How are you guys? You knowI'm hanging in there, man,
(22:37):
Glad to be up north today inLoveland. This is right to see you.
Just a whole downtown area packed fullof O's cool way cool hot rods,
man muscle cars, Street rods youname it here. Yes, sir,
Hey, we appreciate you guys comingout and all the spectators and participants
have showed up down here. Sotell us a little bit about what the
(22:57):
whole event how came about. Youknow, we got invited to this last
year, our second year. Theyhad a good idea of having the Blues
playing and playing at Founders and havinga cruise along with it, having the
cars come out and play. Sothat's what we got in the second years
(23:18):
is their second year doing this.Wow. Hopefully we can continue sometime.
Yeah. Man, it's kind oflike the old downtown takeovers. Uh.
I used to do that. We'resuch a blast. But again, man,
you will see some cool cars dosomething cool and loveling. Uh,
definitely, man, Dust and mobbring them out. You could park along
the you know, Cleveland or wherever, uh and walk through all the other
downtown streets third, four to fifthwherever these all these cars in and just
(23:41):
see them check them out. Becauseit's kind of like the like a rolling
cruise and car show. Yep,yep it is. You know, this
is kind of a pre warm upfor us. We've got our big show,
the Blue Light. Yeah, you'rewelcome. You know, you know
you've been everybody that's here. Hopefullywe can get several more. That's August
sixteenth through the eighteenth. We'd liketo have everybody here join us out there
(24:06):
at the ranch. This will beour fortieth this year. Wow, that's
crazy doing that. That's a bigshow too, man, it's for you.
Man. Let's talk about some ofthese cool cars builds. Obviously old
school muscle rains supreme today out here. Now, look you've got modern muscle
sure bring. It has some funwhen when you're talking about, you know,
(24:27):
in particular these cars, you gota favorite you gotta standout? Is
there one that just is it thefirst gem Camaro for you? Is that
was that your I'm a bowts eyeguy, you know, Yeah, I
know you're sevy guy, and Iknow you like Camaros, whether it's first,
second genu you see, to alwaysmake those things go stuper fast.
Yes, sir, do you uh? Do you have a favorite here today
(24:48):
today? You know, I've lookedaround quite a bit and the Corvettes and
there's a really nice blue Corvette downat the end. See, this man's
got some common sense. He's pointedat that charge right to this man knows
what's up. I'm looking away fromthat. That man is a genius,
y'all. You're in the presidence ofgeniuses over here, but this this grim
(25:10):
went over here. Those you seeanymore, Yeah, I've seen that one
more than I've seen another one.So you know, obviously these cars got
to go somewhere to get engines andstuff freshened up, and you made a
career out of that. Really,it's it's kind of cool that these cars
(25:32):
live through different whether it's putting thetraditional drive train in them or what is
popular so so many times today isarresto mod right, So you see more
muscle cars staying around as the traditionalmuscle car, you see more of them
being converted over to the modern drivetrains. And what's what's happening on the
ancillary all the other cars that therewere kind of second tier cars. You
(25:56):
know, if you couldn't get aChevelle or Camaro or a Corvette, maybe
get a I don't know, aPontiac Lemon's right, right, you know,
everybody, of course wants to putls's and everything. Yeah, but
we've got some original guys that stillwant to stick with old school. Yeah,
yeah, small block Chevy small blockmopar stuff, which is great small
(26:18):
doing a mopar, you know wedid. We're doing a five hundred and
forty inch mo par for a chargeyou got yours? Yeah, that's you
injected, which is it's neat.Yeah. Man, everybody's got something new
that they always want to try,and it's good. It's nowadays more than
ever, there's so much that youknow, so much that technology is out
there. It's easier installed and puton the ever before. And you know
(26:40):
what, man, I will tellyou just the other day, we've been
me and my buddy Robert have beendealing with some issues with tech for months,
him specifically, and you know whatwe did. We finally took that
fight Tech stuff off and put aHolly Sniper on there. You know how
easy that was. That's right forThere's no problems at all. So yeah,
man, it's uh, it's oneof those things. Man. It
(27:03):
kind of as much as I hateto say, you know, we gave
fight take a chance, but I'mnot sure what's going on that of late.
I just had a couple of problemswith him, and that sniper was
so he's easy to put on tune. A couple parameters and that thing was
off to the races that you know, they make them nice. It's easy
go drive it and it self tYeah, it really does. It's crazy
(27:26):
nowadays although you know, shout outto my man. Louis is probably listening
right now. Uh, there's stilla lot of power to be made with
that carburetor and they're easy to buildand easy to tune. Well, Holly
is all that other stuff you canjust throw away, but really it's uh,
it's one of those things, man, to pick your poison. You
have to do with little hot starissues normally with the carburetor on some of
(27:48):
these old hot rods. But asidefrom that carburetor is still makes a ton
of power. My guys, thatAtlas performers. That's what we do,
buddy. Yeah, man, that'sall y'all do with Atlas. Uh.
Is it wide on the machine shopnowadays? Car building place? I mean,
is it still busier than it thanit's ever been? We have definitely
been busy, you know. Iswitched and we strictly just do machine work
(28:10):
and build engines. Now. Wewere mechanics shop for quite some time and
wrenched down a lot of stuff andnow we've just gotten so busy over the
years that there's no advertising. Wejust we just rock it out. Yeah,
man, but you know that showsyou the demand right for you know,
keep these old things alive. Areyou doing mostly old school big blocks
(28:30):
and big power plants? Are youdoing a lot of the ls stuff?
A little bit of everything? Youknow what we have focused on in the
last probably five to eight years, heads up, drag racing, drag stuff.
So it's a lot of stuff.Yes, look you know what that
(28:51):
is, man, straight up,you know what that is. Turning money
into noise, turning money in thenoise. Who could earn money in the
loudest noise. But it's good atit too, as sure as fun.
But good times day man, theblues and cruise. This is a cool
event up here and level of man, it's one of those things where you
(29:11):
don't normally get this many hot ridestogether, especially in downtown area, so
that in itself is kind of coolto see. Come on out, man,
dust off your hot ride, makea few laps, have some fun.
Easy to do today. And notonly that, you can park it
and just walk through all these streets. We got a bunch of streets full
up jammed up, packed up withhot rides, street rides, muscle cars,
(29:32):
and kind of everything in between. Some cool ls wop stuff, some
old cool stuff. Yeah man.Food, some grubs, yeah man,
where the food at? Oh?We got food trucks? This what's up?
All kinds of Actually, there isall kinds of places up and down
streets to get some grubs outdoor patios, so you couldn't answer a better day
(29:52):
coming out and check it out. Now, are these cars getting judged there
a is there trophies to win orhard ware to take home? Though?
Just to show up? Warm up? You mean that dude with a yellow
Challenger cleans his car that hard andthere's not even a trophy out involved.
That's because he sees all the peoplelooking at it. Now, that,
my friends, is a passion. When you clean your car so hard and
there's not even a trophy up forgrabs, and he's doing every boat like
(30:15):
that dude ought to be praised. He needs a trophy. Somebody bring a
trophy. I thought that car isgonna win something, but look, you
know what it is clean, that'sright, Yes, it is several streets
of cars you kind of choose fromand another way you can help out,
So the Grace upon Grace project obviouslybringing you know, let's just be honest,
(30:41):
groceries. Everything is costing more nowadays. Us car guys. No asking
a car guy about car parks. What do you think they've done? Holy
Muly, they've just gone through theroof. So obviously Tom's have got a
little tougher for a lot more people. That means a lot more people are
in need. So if you canhelp out today, bring some diapers,
bring some you know, just takeper items little kiddos can eat because a
lot of his parents are just tryingto keep lights on, food on the
(31:03):
table. We're filling the least chargerup with diapers right here. Well I
could fill it up with all themchevyes I beat and all. Uh yeah,
all them Chevy people I take forrides need them diapers. So yeah,
we could put probably pour some ofthe back seat. Uh No,
seriously, though, if you're ifyou're able to help, we could definitely
(31:23):
use it. So come on downand help us out. And you can
also step in the Foundry which isright down the road, have yourself a
drink, see some cool cars, walk up and down the street, check
out some of the rides. Youcan get some food, some grubs,
and if you want, you couldround up and all that money, all
those proceeds go to the same thing, which is a grace and grace great
way to help out. So ifyou're you know able to, that would
(31:47):
be an awesome way to do it. My kiddles are coming up, so
Jason promised that he could show mykids baby cows. Scoop. You know
how, my daughter's life will changeand my son's life will change if they
see baby cows. They're gonna forgetthose chickens that they have pretty quick when
they have baby cows on the mind. Look already made it clear there's no
(32:08):
way and not a snowball chance inhell we will ever own a cow.
So an opportunity to see a babycow is as close as they're gonna get
to having one. So yeah,no no cattle at the house, but
maybe a chance to see them theday. And I gotta tell them that
(32:29):
made the kiddo was happiest morning.I think they jumped right out of bed,
like we'll go on so kind offun day. Man, looks to
be a blast up here on theNorth side. If you have cool car,
cool truck, cool bike rolling outand don't forget about the other big
car show. What is that? What again? August sixteenth through the eighteenth.
Okay, August sixteenth through the eighteenth. This is a this is a
(32:51):
whole weekend event. Tellus real fastabout that. What cars are you allowing
in this year? So there's ayear cut off. Nineteen eighty and older.
Okay, nineteen eighty and older.Nineteen eighty and older. All right,
so everything eighty and older allowed in? Uh, tell us the process
of that. It's three days, two day days. So registration we normally
do Friday afternoon and some guys willstay and hang out and we'll just chit
(33:19):
chat, get to meet some newpeople, to use car that's car people's
code for drink beer. Yeah.So and then Saturday, you know,
they hit it. We hit itright and early. Yeah, and it's
an all day event Saturday, andthen we wrap it up Sunday and that
definitely you'll have awards and gifts andgiveaways and yeah, we'll give away all
day Saturday and all morning Sunday.Yeah, big event. Uh. They
(33:42):
gonna park all over the venue.Man, it's cool on the grass.
It's like a little parade of carsin and out because they drive them.
When they leave, they parade out. Yes, sir, gonez leuss you
man, that's a live sneeze onthe radio. You know how rare that
is. Somebody buy me a lotof ticket and look one sneeze too.
How rare is that? Normally Igo at least three or four man sneeze
(34:07):
live on the radio. You shouldjust see my face. Its wrinkling up
like who like a sheet and thewind. That was tough, all right,
but handle it like a boss.Okay, Well, look man,
that day that weekend, you couldleave us with some really cool hardware.
But you know what else they haveall kinds of stuff they just raffle off.
So if you're you know, thinkof a cool car show, you
(34:29):
can leave with barbecue, tanks andgrills and tools, toolboxes, TVs,
you know, entertainment center, stereo, the engines. They can wear all
kinds of stuff at this particular carshow U this weekend, so really cool.
Not only get the cars parading inand out each each day in the
(34:49):
morning and as they leave, butalso on Sunday you have a really cool
just way to win cool stuff. So maybe opportunity therefore you as well check
that one out June August. That'swhat I'm saying exactly, the August sixteenth
through the eighteenth, exactly what Iwas saying for anniversary. Let's make it
big. Yeah man, let's hitit. Yeah, August six your health
(35:10):
it always works good? Yeah man, that'd be fun. So how do
people find out more? Is theirwebsite? You can find it on Facebook.
Yeah. Road Nights Car Club RoadNights Car Club. You also have
a website also if you wanted toget on preregister okay, vehicle Road Nights
spelled k n I g hts likethe night not is in Nighttime. Road
(35:36):
Nights Car Club. Find on Facebook. Find them on line. Check out
that show. That is always areally packed cool event of the Budweiser Event
Center now called Blue Arena, Ibelieve. Oh so yeah, man,
happens there in August. See youthere for that one August sixteen, seventeen,
eighteenth full weekend event. It's wellworth the price of admission. So
check that one out, coming outparticipate in nineteen eighty and older. So
(36:00):
you cool cats in your gn x'is just stay home? Uh but they
do. Hey, they do havesome cool cars. Man, you know
what's wild man is we laugh alittle bit about the eighties era, but
this is no joke. Have youseen what Gen three Kmaros are going for?
Man? What in the what happenedthere? Like all of a sudden
(36:22):
Gen three came and and everybody listeningto freak out of this Fox Body Mustangs.
Man, those little crazy ghetto asscars. They are plastic interior pieces.
Those those things are worth some change. Now. Man, that's what
racing turned into, isn't it?Yeah? One hundred percent? What dude?
That's can you You know the numberof times we've had to go We've
(36:44):
had to line up against the FoxBody Mustang more than any other car out
there. But you know, creditto their packaging. You know, get
a big engine in a small littlecar, lightweight. They doing a decent
race car. Ain't gonna lie. It's no dut it's charger, but it's
it's a cool litt platform, dude, no joke. I was at especially
the auto auction just like a weekor two ago, so it was kind
(37:05):
of a slow auction in the beginning, but they had a nineteen i want
to say ninety Camaro convertible with sixthousand miles on it, super clean.
It went through is white. Itwent through for thirty one thousand dollars and
thirty one gez. I don't evenknow if the guy paid that new.
(37:27):
I bet he didn't pay that newfor it. It went through the auction
bocket thirty one thousand, and thatdude who bought it, I believe he's
just gonna take it the Barrett. He's gon take it to a bigger auction.
I feel like a car like thatis gonna bring I mean six thousand
original miles, so that is that'snothing on that on like a nineteen ninety
min Yeah. Man, that's uh, that's definitely wild because we were giving
(37:49):
those cars. Wait not too longago, honest guy, like here you
go, Jen three Camaro who wantedthat man crazy to see how those popped
off lately on top of that othercar was like fox body. You know,
the eighties had just a weird offeringwhen it came to cars. But
we'll talk about some other rights.Cool builds here coming up. Guy who
races the station wagon. Now,for people out there listening, you may
(38:13):
think races the station wagon, okay, you can do you can't do that,
you know, back when I wasin college, there was a there
was a cool car he used torun around camps called the Dragon Wagon,
and it was a cool big blockstation wagon and dude raced the heck out
of it. But this guy doesn'tdrag race the station wagon. He road
course races it. You imagine he'scrazy as hell. Yeah, isn't that
(38:34):
weird? He is crazy. Haveyou ever seen him? No, I've
seen it on three wheels. Soyeah, man, we'll talk to him
a little bit about what we possesssomebody that it's a rock and roller station
wagon. Apparently he's pretty good atrocking and rolling too. So that's on
the way. Uh, it's justa cool afternoon man up in Loveland,
(38:54):
Colorado for the bruise and cruise, all kinds of streets packed up with whoever's
whoever's the owner of that seventy dollarschargery. He has come back up here
to fourth because that thing is cool. Man. Oh you own that thing,
man, That car is cool.Man, bring that back up here.
That thing was sick looking. Uhso yeah, we'll have to chat
(39:14):
about that during the break. Anddefinitely it's not too often you see,
you know, it's not too outenyou see any first or second gen charger.
The first ins have for some reasonpopped off in popularity a little bit.
Second gens have always been popular, but they're just huge money car nowadays.
As far as just getting one,you know, all the charges I
(39:35):
own I bought decades ago, becausethey have just popped off silly in the
in the rest of the world,in the car world, you can't find
it. You can't find a youknow, a beat up, rusted out,
you know, just in need ofeverything body and really frame, windows,
glass, sidemarkers, blinkers, lenses, all that stuff for under ten
(39:55):
fifteen g's nowadays, you know. And that's one that's clapped out, you
know. So we'll talk to uh, gotta talk to him about that seventy.
That's just a rare car, reallycool to see. Talk to a
few other builders about some of theircool rides. See a lot of bikes
going through, some other cool trucks. Trucks have become just insanely popular as
well, some old school trucks inaround the streets down here in downtown leveln.
(40:20):
We'll talk to a few of thosebuilders as well. All right,
So Mike Petterford, who normally joinsme on the show, says Lo,
he's listening down south via the app, so shout out to him. Uh,
don't forget Randy Corey. He wason earlier his swapped meet his moved
Jefferson County Stadium off sixth and Kipling. That's gonna be June eighth, So
mark calendar down for that. Wespoke with Randy a little bit earlier today.
(40:43):
More on the brew Blues and cruisehere in just a second. Why
I say Bruce Blues and cruise herein just a few some really righteous rides.
Men all of the down the streetseleven coming out. If you've got
something cool, by all means dustedoff, hanging it out, has some
fun doing. So come down checkout the Cool Cars Cool Event in downtown
Leveland to day. It goes ontill four, right, four or five
(41:06):
o'clock. Yeah, it goes onto four pm the day. So that
isself was kind of cool. Soa lot of opportunity to come down,
cruise around, see these cars, talk to the people that own them,
built them, drive them. There'sa lot of fun stories in that as
well. So let's get through thisbreak, y'all. We'll see you on
the other side. Scoot, We'llgo to break just a little bit early.
Come back to tee up a coupleof cool cars builders from the Blues
(41:29):
and Cruise Car Show up in Loveland, Colorado with one of seventy nine KVPI
Willybe's garage. You're back in Willybe'sgarage. What of you guys with the
Bes garage. We were broadcasting livefrom right to the heart of Loving day,
(41:51):
which is awesome. You know whybecause the heart of Love is packed
full of cool cars. Now we'rein the corner of Fourth and Cleveland.
Shout out to Ozzie's Body Shop.I love those guys. Man. You
talked about having a cool car, soho they have a cool one every year
that surely you pay attention with. That is But if you're in need of
great body shop, real repair oncars, not just doing insurance jobs and
panels, they got you covered.Shout out to Assie's. They're great team.
(42:15):
Here's the deal. We have Graceupon grace. This is this cool
project really providing. Now think aboutthis, you guys. Everybody's aware how
tough it is nowadays. Everybody's youknow, you can't get a Walmart without
leaving. How seen is it twobags of groceries like two hundred dollars nowadays?
It sucks, man, it's awful. So imagine how tight ear budget
is and where you're at now.Compound that with kids, with trying to
(42:42):
find, you know, a wayto put food on table, keep lightselling,
all of those kind of stresses andissues that you know some of us
face, but sometimes we never eventhink about it because you know, we
don't have to. So Grace upongrace provides all kinds of those personal items
for kiddos. Man, think aboutthe kiddos, right. We just had
a car guy bring a big packof diapers as well, So diapers,
(43:06):
diaper bags, anything like that willhelp out. Obviously, diapers expensive,
we're well aware, which is youknow, one of the things that is
needed the most. So if youcan bring diapers, man, that would
be awesome. So we got severalstreets blocked off just stuff with cars.
You haven't seen this many cars, you know, since we used to race
out on the tower. What anyway, this is one of those things where
(43:29):
you got a great opportunity to plugback into a great event with all the
you know, with the grace uponGrace, But all these ways to do
it. You can drop all stuffyou could you know, you could donate.
You can't go to Foundries, whichis right down the road. They
have a bunch of bands playing onstage all day. You can round up
and all that money goes to theGrace upon Grace project. But nothing better
than seeing you in person, shakingyour hand, you your high five,
(43:51):
and letting you too vote on whatis the coolest car in love of today?
So far? Now I'm not biasedor anything, but so far,
a black sixty nine dollars charger haswon. I think it's up by about
seven eight and fourteen votes. I'mnot sure. And a close second with
six votes is a station wagon. But look it's in the second place.
(44:14):
You may be able to close thatsix seven thousand voting gap. Here here
pretty quick, let's talk to thisguy about the station wagon. You guys,
ever think about road course racing astation wagon? No, cause who
does that normally? The logic youknow, somebody that road course race stuff
or auto crosses a you know, just time tax normally well normally trying to
(44:36):
get you know, a short wheelbasedcar or something really light nimble, and
when when you think light, nimble, you really don't think of station wagon.
But we got a cool one.And you travel all over the country
with this thing, right I do. What's your name man, Tom Adjutant,
Tom Hellen? Have you had that? Well? What is it?
First? It is a nineteen sixtyfour Acadian Invader. So it's a Canadian
(45:00):
Pontiac Chebby Nova hybrid. Okay, similar though somebody's looking it up the olde
like you can imagine old Nova wagonor Chevelle wagon something like that. Yeah.
So it was a two door.Uh no, it's a four door.
It's a four door okay, anduh so they only made sixty two
of them. Holy moly. Yeah, I got all the information from Akkadian
Motors on microfiche. Wow micro fishYeah, remember that. That's funny.
(45:23):
So all right, so I gottaask what most people who get I don't
know what that cars were, butmost people get a really rare, rare
piece. They don't decide to takeit, chop it up and go lottle
crossing in it. No, I'mI'm asked why a lot. Yeah,
it's it's really rare, but it'snot super valuable. Okay, But uh
(45:45):
even if it was valuable, I'dstill take it out and whale on it
because right, right, because that'swhat we do. Yeah, and I
wanted something that other people weren't racing. Yeah, so it's like, why
not of station wagon with a roof? Right? Well, you know,
common sense will tell you that. You know, that's not something that would
necessarily float around a road course onan autocross track that nimble. But you
(46:08):
know when you do suspension of grades. This is why at the time say
that one of the best and easiestways to really dynamically improve your car.
And I think something that is easilyaccomplished with you and a buddy in the
garage on a weekend. It's suspensionof grades. Yeah, I'm not sure
what you have done your car,but I guarantee you it's not stock.
(46:30):
Tell us a little bit about whatyou did to make that thing handled the
way it does well. The rearI converted to a four lenk with coil
overs because I wrapped three sets ofleaf springs do an autocross, and once
you taco enough for those, youjust have to give up. You gotta
go to a four link. ButI keep ripping that off of the frame.
(46:51):
So I just keep making it beefhere every time I break it.
Wow, okay, the front isa it's actually a CPP front clip.
It's really okay into the front clip, and that I also have broken several
times. Just keep beefing it up, welding it back together and making a
stronger But it just handled Laguneseca twoweeks ago. Woah. And I've been
(47:12):
I've taken it to Road America acouple of times and yeah, man,
it's oftim anything like that. Yeah, yeah, man, So that's big
time fun, big time racing. And since again you don't normally see out
of a out of a station wagon, No, it's pretty much the only
one every time I go on,the only station wagon out which is kind
of, in his own way, pretty damn cool. Right. Yeah.
(47:32):
The guys that uh, good guys, they call it the flying brick.
Well, I mean for good reason. Yeah, it's not the normal uh
you know, uh, not thenormal car you see in applications you see
out there, especially you know inthat auto cross world especially, you know,
good guys. For examples, thisis all flat. They just take
(47:52):
a flat parking lot, put itro cones and have you dill it in.
Well you know something like that isgonna be like what Yeah, put
it. Yeah, it's on twowheels a lot, which is great.
It stays wagon on two wheels, that's awesome. It's it's heavy too.
It's almost thirty six hundred pounds sooh wow, yeah, yeah, man,
it stills to go boat three hundredpounds heavier than it's US counterpart.
(48:14):
How do you have a scaled Ihave corner scales in my house. Is
it scaled fifty to fifty? Ihave it fifty one forty nine front?
Oh wow. So that's a wellbalanced machine. And it's got almost a
one inch rake. Okay, soit still looks like a muscle car.
But yeah, yeah, it's balanced, right. And what kind of tires
running run? Falcon six sixties?Okay, they're they're basically nine point five
(48:37):
nine point six inches wide. Andas far as breaks go, because auto
cross things like that, time attacksbreaking big part of people don't realize a
lot of power, a lot oftime can be made up. You got
substantial upgraded breaks. Yeah. Ihad the break scra out at corner five
at Road America, So I've upgradedthe breaks. That was a swear jar
(48:58):
moment. Oh that was just holdyour line and yeah, just press So
what kind of breaks you have onit? I'm running Wellwood six pist in
front, four piston rear. Besidesroaders, they are twelve point eight and
I run the biggest aggressive paths thatthey make, but I run that year
round. I just run the racepaths all the time. Cools, no,
(49:22):
I mean the canyons are five milesfrom here, so I'm constantly driving
around and casting them. Yeah,so when people see you show up in
a station wagon, because you know, we all talk about what's kind of
different, what's kind of unique tobuild station wagon? Get some street credit.
Nowadays, station wagons are growing inpopularity. You see a lot of
(49:43):
guys taking these cars, you know, old wagons especially like that. You
know, it's that's got cool lines. If you imagine like a Nova wagon,
Goschevelle wagons, things like that,it's similar to that. It's you
know, it's square enough where youknow, the stands, the lines on
it, they really get highlighted. You know, honeyac looking grill is what?
Yeah, that's what's kind of throwspeople off, right, Yeah,
(50:04):
it makes them be like, whatis that so really cool? Riding just
you know, just a different sortof car to to take in that sort
of challenge. I'm sure people loveto see it, right, It's gotta
be a crowd favorite. Yeah.I show up and you know, people
are you know, usually the roadcourse guys are like, hey, make
sure when people come up behind youlet them pass. I'm like, I
know, I know, And youend up passing it. Yeah, you
(50:25):
end up passing you on porches andstuff. And it's fun. Man.
That would piss the Porsch person off, wouldn't it. Yeah. It surprises
people. But then I get smokedby Miana and it's like wow, so
yeah, yeah, so right yeah, uh well that's what's so fun about
our crosses and road courses and timeattacks. You really never know what you're
gonna be up against. I havea I have a beefed up suspension,
(50:50):
a seventy road Runner with a HotskinsSuper TVs kid on it and gim venders
and it handles really good. AndI was down next weekend Slush Motorsports Festivals
down at PPI Are and back whenthey first started doing their show down there.
Uh, they had a little driftevent and I had my road Runner
out there and it people were freakingout on that. They're like, what
what are you doing in this oldman car? Out of here? And
(51:13):
then they would see it out thereon the course they'd be like, wait
a minute, this saying you knowat coil it's got coil overs on it,
good suspension. It makes such adifference in how the car feels.
It's fun to show up on acar that doesn't look fast. Oh yeah,
really and ring them out. Yeah, and especially if you got you
know, I had proxies on itat the time. Uh, so it's
good. You know, two hundredcompounds sticky tire. Uh, it really
(51:37):
does make all the different There's somuch technology, by the way entires you
guys, it is insane. Youknow what it on the TV show I
do a two guys garage. Thisis no joke. We were down in
Florida shooting a couple weeks ago.We had a gt O listen to this.
We had a sixty nine Pontiac gtocome in. This Pontiac gto.
We were doing a frame off onit, so we you know, it
(51:59):
comes in and the body and frameare already separated, so we didn't have
to do all that work. Butwe're you know, we're stripping the frame,
cleaning it up, boxing the framein all this stuff. Well,
it had BF good Rinch ta's onit from like mid to early seventies.
Oh God, and you know whatit said. You know what the treadware
said on those BF good Rinch tas. It claimed that it was treadware two
(52:22):
hundred. Honestly, God, Igotta picture up on my phone. Wow,
and I was like, no wayin hell that treadwaar is the same
right there by the day's standards. So two hundred is where you get cut
off on a lot of the autocrosses. You gotta have a two hundred or
higher treadware tire because it was twohundred. If you go under two hundred,
nothing wrong with that tire is gonnawear out fast as hell. That's
(52:42):
more of a road course type tire. They gotta get some regulation in so
they make treadwear be two hundred. There's some cheet of tires out there,
but that's conversation for another day.But treadware number lower that number the soft
of the compound stickier that that caris gonna be. So just know,
an autocross the limited to you gottahave a two hundred tad whear attire.
So yeah, Optimus the same way. Yeah, yeah, your road course,
(53:05):
all of it. Oh it's twohundred tread rate, doesn't matter what
division you're in. Yeah, soit's you know, it's just wild that
it's a it's a leveling device forsure. However, Uh, that suspension
upgrade, man, especially in oldercars, there there won't be a more
dynamic change in that car outside ofa transmission upgrade from an old three speed
(53:30):
to a you know, five orsix speed. Those two things I think
are the biggest game changers in oldmuscle cars to make them make them better.
You know, that triangulated four length. I got it from church Boys,
so I don't buy a bolt inanything anymore because it says bolts in
and then I end up sure deathwheeling and welding anyway, Yeah exactly,
there's a welding kit and it completelychanged that car. Oh nice, Yeah,
(53:52):
it handled so much better. Yeah. I run double the spring rate
front and rear. That CPP andchurch Boys and all those guys right now,
Viking recommends and it's like, youknow, I run eight hundred up
front and six und back. Ohwow, that's a big spring man.
All right, that's kidding it,but you know what I mean, it's
a four door station wagon, sosure there's not a ton of body roll
(54:13):
on that. That's why I'm ontwo wheels. Yeah, yeah, I
gotta give yeah. Man. Well, obviously you have that thing stiff,
which is what you want on theroad course, stiff and flat baby body
roll with something that all those carsyou know when you see sway bars and
people are, you know, especiallyold must cars, they're horrible with the
soft, mushy suspensions. The bodyroll. I mean great for drag racing,
(54:35):
to be honest, but when itcomes to handling just driving your car,
oh man, it is just awful. However, you tight that suspension
up, you go with tuber controlarms, bigger brakes, some upgraded ball
joints, tie rides and really, let you know, suspension talk to you,
get some feedback in it upkay therear as well. Then all of
a sudden, man, you gota car that handles dynamically different than what
(54:59):
that that old school muscle car wassupposed to. And man, that makes
it so much more fun. WellSPC is right off of I twenty five,
right near Firestone, Okay, andthey made control arms, and I
ripped both upper control arms completely outof their perches. At Road America last
year, I had a two inchtow in when I did my last session
on the road cars, and theywere just buried in there, so it
(55:22):
was totally watched. I couldn't getthem free. I'm like, well,
I guess I'm going out for mylast session. But yeah. I just
got there on the way home andshowed them what I had and they were
able to figure out. They're like, well, if you can weld in
the bracketry, we'll get we'll buildcontrol arms for you. And they built
them for me the next day.Oh wow, yeah that's now. That's
some service there. It never happens. Yeah, So they their stuff is
(55:44):
awesome. Cool man. Well, all up and down the streets here,
I love them packed up with cars. If you had a chance an opportunity
to walk up and down. Yeah. I checked this block out. I
figure I'm gonna go down south, check out Third and then check out the
cars up north, and I figuredpeople kind of cycling. Yeah, man
too. It looks like a lotof people were just cruising up and down,
you know, between Cleveland. Acouple of other roads and then they're
just parking. So, uh,I live six blocks from that's not as
(56:07):
convenient. But look, if you'reuh, if you're out about today,
stop on up at Leve. Theman's really cool. Well, it's a
lot of cool cars, a lotof cool different rides. And bring your
your old rod out. Whether it'ssomething you know, some mode, some
news, a truck, a bike, we don't care. Man, it's
a great day in Colorado. Gethim out, has some fun. Come
down and see some other like minded, crazy individuals and some of their cool
(56:29):
cars, some of them absolutely absurd. What's been your favorite so far?
You know? Honestly watching him cleanall the bolts on that yellow Challenger has
been pretty cool. Blasphemy because lastme he's he's using a nice oily rag
like I was cleaning my wagon earlier, so that that felt right. That
is a uh that is a sharkcar and you gonna lie and he is
(56:52):
cleaning. I can still clean it. You know. What it was crazy
is there's not even a trophy forfor this con this. They're just that
he're showing these things off and he'sstill clean. Yeah, he's been cleaning
for an hour and a half.Yeah, man. And look again,
he's not winning anything. This iswhat a crazy car enthus is he is.
Yeah, nothing wrong with that. It's challenges. Sweet, it's a
(57:14):
four Is that a six pack car? Yeah? Six pack car? Man,
he's got a four forty Challenger. Now think about this for a second.
It's a convertible challenger. It's anRT. It's a four forty six
pack RT. So a lot ofrare options on that car. Uh six
figures across the Barret Jackson stage ormeek them stage? Sure? Uh?
(57:37):
No wonders cleaning it. Yeah,it's weird. Man. I never seen
the man lick the boat and thenwipe it off. It ran out of
coffee to pour on, right, right? But you know what else,
here's a good trick. Now alot of people want to this is this
is how I know he's legit. He put the beauty rings on after he
showed up. That's that's the trickthat most people don't know. Most people
(58:00):
drive around the beauty rings on thecar. What happens? It gets all
kinds of rock pits, chips, things, denting and whatever. This guy
I knew. I knew this guyknew what was up because he comes out
of the trunk with his beauty rings, and I'm like, that is awesome.
Not many people know that trick hedoes so rings. Yeah, yeah,
(58:22):
absolutely, but look, it isa great way to keep the beauty
rings looking sharp because you can't youcan't find them, especially with the uh
that oh we look so yeah.Man, just the smart nose, smart
car guy. But hey, allkinds of cars makes manufacturers, trucks,
small cars. There's a really coolcorvet over here, Afford or Corvet at
(58:45):
that. Man, I never forgetmy mom. She had a corvet.
I got to Uh, I gotto take my mom riding in that corvet
I got for her before she passeda couple of years ago, and that's,
you know today, that's one ofher best memories. Uh. Corvet's
they did wild house Chevy at thetime. Just put put a sea in
front of area. It's it's gottabe a sea. Let's just name it
(59:07):
with a c uh Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle. Uh. Uh, you
know they are corvet. Everything wasa seat. It's gotta be a c
H Chevy. Uh. But nonetheless, not too often to see a cool
corvet. Uh. Let on thestation wagon. We were missing just a
second ago, really cool trucks.A convertible cutlass just rolled in. I
(59:30):
mean, muscle cars just make thecoolest convertibles. When you see convertibles nowadays,
you know, I'll be honest, they stole lot of the masculine identity
of a convertible, you know it. You know, it doesn't look no
man like muscle cars like still tothis day, muscle car even the convertible
(59:51):
muscle cars they look righteous. Theystill look mean and wicked, they look
unsafe and fun. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, But I don't know what
it is man modern cars. There'sjust not a lot of modern, good
looking convertibles. And even when thereis, it's really not a cool car,
(01:00:12):
some kind of demascilating right right exactly. So I don't know, it's
just kind of cool to see,you know, some of these old school
muscle cars, some of the oldschool rides all done up, and I
love it between the new technology modernmuscling, the drive train and and you
know, nothing like five or sixspeed transmission, some of those eight speed
(01:00:34):
redmans. Dude, have you drivena new Corvette. I haven't, but
a lot of the guys optim they'vegot, you know, sixty seven Firebird
within that new Zo six rev.So I got to drive a new Zo
six C eight Corvette and one thingright out the gate is that rev matching
is just it is real on thatcar, man. I mean they're only
(01:00:57):
dropping a couple hundred RPMs every year. Oh I know, and you could
do it all in paddles and itis God is it cool? That's a
yeah, that's in insane car.So you know it sounds wicked. Yeah.
The modern muscle you just can't messwith this. The old muscle is
just cool because lines are so unique, you know. And what's great is
when you combine the two and youknow, do what so many resto mods
(01:01:19):
doing nowadays, putting you know, the modern drive train and some of the
old cars, old lines, andyou kind of get the best of both
worlds. You know, a lotof people transporting me the Hellcat drive train,
you know, over and into someof these chargers, some of these
challengers, and I love it,man, I think that's awesome. A
lot of people doing LSA swaps andl swaps obviously, and the forks eitherers,
you know, with that guy's millionengine, that's that's gonna be a
(01:01:40):
wicked cool contender. But a lotof people even getting big power out of
the coyotes. When you boost thosethings, they wake up. Man small,
keep your kit engine. But fora three to oh two, God,
dang, that thing makes some bigpower. I'm not gonna hate them.
They definitely command a little respect. So look, a lot of great
options out there. But when youstick all that modern train in something old.
(01:02:01):
Yeah, Look, and this iswhy I encourage people do this.
This is no joke. Think aboutthis for a minute. What are you
gonna spend in a modern car? What are you gonna spend if you go
out and just buy anything nowadays?Right, anything that's you know, remotely
cool, right, you gouda spendat least forty g's fifty g's hell for
that matter, if you want topick up truck, I think seventy to
(01:02:21):
one hundred. Yeah, you know, if you want a new Tahoe,
you're looking at one hundred grand, you know, I mean, it's crazy
what cars cost nowadays. However,if you think about, you know,
maybe you have some body you knowbody line of a car. Maybe it's
the first thing, Camaro, maybeso Chavelle. Maybe for me, you
know, for me, it's acharger right. I always just loved that
(01:02:42):
old school body line. So ifyou have a car that just sticks out
in your mind, is crazy cooland righteous that you know, you can
get your hands on for you know, anything under let's just think of an
even bigger numbers. Just think tengrand. Right, It's easy nowadays to
throw you know, twenty to thirtygrand out of car and has something just
as reliable but much cooler than whatyou go, you know, make payments
(01:03:06):
on it and spend from a dealership. Every car you're looking at nowadays is
forty grand. You know, it'sreally hard to get into anything nowadays under
that price, let alone you know, fifty. Yeah, if you're looking
at it, you got to dedicatethe time to build it. And yeah,
a lot of people don't want todo that. They want to go
buy it and drive it. Iget it if you don't have the time
to do it. But if youdon't have the time, it's way more
(01:03:28):
rewarding to oh, absolutely build itand drive it one hundred percent and you
find something a little bit of patinaand you can still drop modern drive train
in. You gotta pay a shotto do it. You're still win in
the in the end, it's youknow, to me, it's it's a
much bigger payoff to be able topull up in something just unique, kind
of old school lines and keep thesethings live than it is, you know,
(01:03:49):
something a little more modern, andyou know, like everything blends in.
Everything looks like to me like ayou know, Nissan Rogue or a
you know, out back. SoI don't know that look the same.
Yeah they Yeah, it's hard totell what cars what anymore without seeing the
name on it, right, Butman, you go back to that era,
even in the eighties, it's coolto see some of those cars popping
(01:04:10):
off too. Nobody mistakes my fiftynine ol Camino for anything else. No,
that's fifty nine ol Camino. That'sthe right, that's the right.
I didn't bring it today because Ididn't know if they're fit, if I
could fit the boat down here, right, that is, man, flat
fin that's a big those flat fincars. A few years of flat fin
fifty nine, sixty sixty one,I think to change up a little bit.
But man, those flatfin cars arebig too. I have a sixty
(01:04:32):
bel Air I can't wait to getdone so again, Man, if you
got a high ride bringing out tolove and day really the project. But
behind all this is the reason todo so the Grace upon Grace Project.
There are a lot of kids outthere that need you know, it's tough
to say, but imagine a kidneeding things like a diaper. I'm not
talking toys or you know, newdinosaurs or new dolls or anything like that.
(01:04:58):
I'm just thinking you know, diapers, yeah, food, you know,
things to you know, close towear. Just think about essentials for
you know, think about everything youneed for personal care for a toddler.
Well that's what Grace upon Grace does, and we're collecting today, so stop
by, grab some diapers, graba diaper bag or some of those type
things, maybe some wipes, justto help out the project. And another
(01:05:20):
way to do it is go downcheck out Foundries today that places popping off
a bunch of bands up on stage. If you would like to order food,
drink, anything above, you cando that there and you can round
up. You can put your tiptowards the Grace upon Grace project, so
really cool stuff. They're a greatway to help out. And on top
of it, you can see somereally amazing cars, talk to some really
(01:05:43):
cool people, and that makes thewhole day kind of righteous goes about really
fast too, So get out thehot rides, the bikes, the trucks,
bring them all down to leveland andreally roll by. Anyway, there's
plenty of parking down here. Wegot Third Street, Fourth Street, Fifth
Street. I hear the parking lotspast fifth Street. They're all getting pile
in now and filled in. Sothere are muscle cars, hot rods,
(01:06:03):
modern muscle pickup trucks. There's ridesall over leveling right now, and I
imagine there will be throughout the dayand into the evening. So take advantage
of it. Has some fun.Bring yours if you just want to come
down and you know, just gleeall over somebody else's cars. Just look
down and hey, we'll show youthe cleanest yellow challenger in the state.
Guaranteed there is no other challengers cleanas this one. We're looking at it
(01:06:27):
right here, Guaranteed I'll put anamount of money on it. So coming
down to see that one, Ithink it right now. He's in the
trunk man with a tooth brush. So yeah, coming out, check out
the cars, the rides, thepeople, and what's importantly what it's all
about. Grace upon Grace Project.Uh, we'll see you here. Man.
We're in the corner Fourth and Cleveland. There's one seventy nine KVP I
(01:06:55):
Willy B's garage. Feel back inWillie By's garage. What up you guys?
Will it bes garage? Man,we're broadcast live from up north as
a blast. I gotta tell you, man, this is one of those
things where you were just you're notgonna believe the streets packed up with cars.
So we started out Third Street that'spacked up. We're on Fourth in
(01:07:16):
Cleveland right now. Encourage you todrive by. Look, I'm not discouraging
you from you know, romping alittle throttle therapy down here on Cleveland right
by Fourth as well. It's alwaysgood to hear the cars highly tuned up,
you know what I mean. Butlook, we got third, fourth,
Fifth, The adjacent parking lots isfilling up right now. Everybody's packed
(01:07:36):
in eleven days. So you gota hot ride, a cool car.
Awesome. This guy's bringing in diapersright now. Yeah, Man, like
to see this big as six footthree dude, got tattoos, sleep out,
came a big old box of diapers. That's his hashtag man stuff.
That's right, that's awesome. Thanksfor helping out. Grace upon Grace project
is while we're here. Imagine youknow everybody is in that scenario nowadays.
(01:08:00):
Man, things so tough out there. It's a grind, right, we
all can agree with that. Andthis is you know week and stuff like
this, getting out like minded people, community car events. It's kind of
an escape. Even better when youcould team up, you know, like
we did a couple weeks ago withPresley's Parade of Date. Presley's doing well,
she had transfusion, getting chemo radiationand more. Hey, scoot,
(01:08:24):
you love this. She saw theplaques the other day, but she just
got the star. So she justacquired that this week and absolutely loved it.
So we were able to get thatto Colton earlier this week. Tommy
ran that over because he had itso really cool man. She was absolutely
over the moon at the three Dprinted Presley star that you made for cool
(01:08:48):
So she was very cool. Yeah, super excited about it. Another cool
this is like as E twenty eight. Oh yeah, man, this thing
is short cool Camaro. This welisten to thing too. So you see
these cars, these are packing allover leveling right now. So if you
go up and down, you know, if you know leveland layout, Cleveland
(01:09:09):
and the adjacent street Lincoln there runningyou know, kind of opposite directions,
and these streets in the middle ofthe third, the fourth, the fifth,
Uh, they're the inline the streetsthat kind of connect them. So
you can cruise up and down eitherLincoln or Cleveland and pull into the third,
fourth, fifths, six and allthe adjacent parking lots, all that
(01:09:30):
stuff. But man, it isstuffed with cars, and I mean old
school muscle, modern muscle people bringout, you know, their own stuff
and parking in. So initially youhad one hundred and fifty cars that got
registered for this downtown spot, forthe downtown spots, I guess should say.
And then everybody else's packs in onthe adjacent street. So it's it's
cool car event. Whole town celebrating. Uh. So there's all kinds of
(01:09:55):
places to eat, drink, popoff season, live music right down the
road from his founder. He's gota lot of bands up on stage throughout
the afternoon. It goes to fouror five o'clock today, so a lot
of ways to come down and enjoythe afternoon. Get some food, get
some grubs, see some really righteouscars and some really cool people behind him.
It's always cool talking to people todo the builds and you know what
(01:10:17):
they're into, what they you know, what the car means to him.
Saw a couple of wild cougars drivearound him in and go, oh,
there's a looks like a Lemon's righthere rolling in so wether he got something
like, you know, a cougar. Lemon's a grillin x an old pickup
truck. Today is today up inleveland get him out and just be,
you know, just be seeing them. Cool thing about these old cars and
(01:10:40):
you know, particular cruises like thisis when you get together with a bunch
of people all kind of have theright mindset, and I think like that,
it's always a good day, right, Never at the end of the
day is something like this. You'relike when today soaked? It's great man
so old corvettes, a lot ofcool old chevyes. I did see one
cool Ford. Uh but hey, well yeah look there was one that it
(01:11:04):
was there was there was one.People people looking at me like you one
look one. Uh, but yeahthere are a few of them down here.
Uh, this guy's actually got awhat is that sixty five sixty four
most thank Yeah, that thing's sweetconvertible baby. I mean, that's that's
(01:11:25):
a cool chick car. Uh No, or you know, if you want
to drive it, you can.Uh. But it's just a cool day
to get him out, get himout and drive them. Let's be honest.
We don't have a lot of opportunityto drive these things anymore, especially
seeing a bunch of them out thereand on the streets. Uh with you.
(01:11:46):
I don't know why it makes itthat much cooler, but it does.
It's the same thing as like themotorcycle wave. You know, I'm
sure people in cars are a littleenvious of the motorcycle wave. You know
that only motorcycles can give each other. Like, you're not in that club.
I want to be in that club. Nah, if you're on a
trike, can you do the motorcyclewave? Unpopular opinion trick people should have
(01:12:08):
their own wave. You don't getthe motorcycle nod or they're like the little
thumbs up or the two fingers orshould you I don't know, I don't
know kind of in the middle aboutthat. Uh, but if you know,
Clint, come over here and tapwith me. So Clint has got
this really cool car. He callsit the animal sitting in a bunch of
magazines. It's a first gin Camaro. It's like a I believe it's sixty
(01:12:30):
seven. Does that have vent windowsfor people don't know how to you know,
how to choose their first gen Camaro? That giveaway for the sixty sevens
vent windows got a little side window, so that's called a little vent window
on them chevyes. Uh yeah,if you're if you're a fan of the
first gen Camaro, Uh, sixtysevens you know, honestly got sixty seven
my favorite year. The RSSS hadthe hideaway headlights and stuff. Man,
(01:12:55):
those things are tough to get workingnowadays. Uh, but tell me about
the animal. What do you gotthere? So aine car? I remember
when Clint first got this, hewas right right in the heat of all
the car street outlaws stuff we usedto run. So super cool, man,
tell me about the animal. Whatdid you bring down today? Sixty
seven Camaro? Six seven Camaro? But it's unlike most sixty seven Camaro.
Well, yeah, it has aremovable hardtop, he said. A removable
(01:13:17):
hardtop, not the soft top convertible, not the normal convertible, A removable
hardtop. They didn't do that insixty seven. No, they did.
If anybody was on Colfax in theeighties, they knew the car. Oh
really, animal was on coal Fax. Several animals were on Colfax and to
this day still are. But that'sa different that's a different conversation. Yeah,
(01:13:40):
but it's got a blown four totwenty seven all right, turbo four
hundred okay, thirty three twenty two, fifty to fifteen tire, good lord,
and she's nasty. Yeah, uh, she sounds pretty fast. Yeah,
you want to go eight to milewhen we're done here today, Sure,
let's go. I got the spot. We can't talk about this on
(01:14:03):
radio message anyway. When look, when you think about these old these old
muscle cars, what is it aboutan old muscle car that makes you want
to keep them alive so bad?Because you're a big builder. When modern
muscle is cool, there's no doubtcan argue modern muscle has ungodly power.
But what is about the older carsthat makes you so passionate about them?
(01:14:26):
It makes me feel like I'm sixteenwhen I drive them, and I'm sixty,
okay, so to feel sixteen, right, Nothing in the world makes
me feel the way those cars feel. Okay, that's just the feelings off
the hook. Yeah yeah, andwhen you could, you know, we
can get a little response from thatthrottle and get a little power and a
(01:14:49):
little street credit from that. Itdefinitely speaks volumes. It definitely uh yeah,
brings that that feeling back a littlebit, you know, Yes,
it does. Yeah, I thinkprobably because as a sixteen year old you're
so excited. You know, You'relike, well it was cool car and
loud noise that it makes, andyou know, and in that time,
right, nothing was more important, and nothing was more you know, in
(01:15:11):
line with your focus, your passionand what you wanted to do in life,
right yep. So when you're behindthe wheel of that, it's similar
in that regard. So it probablytakes you back to that era, that
time, that feeling. Well, sixteen, I had a sixty nine charger
oh for speed, So that man, that just I'm how you ever went
to sell after that? Was aforty eight dollars car. Yeah, and
(01:15:35):
now you know sixty seventy thousand dollarscar pretty easy? It was a one
yeah, oh wasn't it was likeRT Oh god, yeah, big money.
So yeah, cars like that.Unfortunately you're huge money. But if
you can get into them, youknow, get into them like me,
I was fortunate to score all mineyears ago. I'm not buying muscle cars
(01:15:55):
now, but there's still cars outthere that are you know, affordable and
nowadays what's great is, you know, the Gen threes are popping off,
the Fox Body, you know,Mustangs are popping off. But there are
a lot of cars, you knowwhat's crazy deal right now and I think
we will be a future collector.Hot ride. C five Corvette, Oh
incredible. C five Corvette no jokerright now, is still a you know,
(01:16:17):
it's a reasonably priced hot ride. You can get in that hot ride
ten eleven, twelve grand, likeI hear people doing that all day.
You know how fast that car canbe. It's an LS car, right,
It's got a great, great foundationunderneath it. There. Of all
the Corvettes up to the C Cseven, the C five was the slickeest.
If you get the FRC C fiveCorvette, the balance is fifty to
(01:16:39):
fifty you can't beat that. Soa C five Corvette, in my opinion,
as far as if you're a youngsterlooking to get in a hot riding
or you're looking to get you know, a future like what I think would
be a great hot rod. Yeah, I think C five you can't go
wrong. Well, I totally agree. You know, bang for buck LS
power. You can put a youknow, a whipple on that fairly easy.
(01:17:02):
The an LSA setup or engine swapmakes it really easy with that LS
compatibility, and you know you gotbig power, crazy suspension like the SEE
five. I think is a kindof a dark sheet flies under the radar
for a lot of muscle car guys, hot rod guys, you know,
car enthusiasts, But that's a that'sa great ride. Side note, some
(01:17:24):
of these, you know, someof these old Hellcats believe or not.
A lot of the as wide isthis seem that the Hellcat's been out since
twenty fourteen now. So you cango to places like Cleveland Power and Performance
and I think they're on number twohundred and fourteen or two hundred and twenty
four something. They gone through twohundred plus Hellcats and they'll pull that drive
(01:17:45):
train out and you get a sevenhundred and seven horsepower drive train. Transmission
turnkey starts, so you can buythe whole power plant like radiator. You
know, they'll put the dash togauge the everything you need to start the
engine does. Send you on apallette. And it's crazy affordable nowadays for
you know, when you're thinking aboutthe power plant and the transmission and everything
(01:18:08):
you need to make it run.You know, for fifteen to twenty grand,
you're getting all that on a turnkeypallette. You know, it's insane.
And he swapped that over to achallenger, a charger, a you
know. So there's oh, there'sugly motars too. So if you're a
mopar guy, sorry, clown onyour dart or your duster, but them
cars are hideous that The Dodge dartis the remember the seventy six Mustang,
(01:18:35):
all right, that's that's the Dodgedart for mopar people. Now, if
you have a dart, don't behating on me, but you know you
got the you got the ugly ducklingin the dodge, right, you know
you do. Look at the resalevalue, don't. You don't have to
take my word for it. Lookat the resale value Dodge darts. They're
down at the bottom because that's theugliest damn dodge are made. Now they
(01:18:56):
do make decent race cars. Butthey ugly. Man, they fell out
one hundred foo ugly tree and hittheir branch. But you step up to
a challenge, recruiter, charger,Cornett, road runner GTX. Man,
you're talking something there. Yeah, but you can still find the dart for
pretty reasonable Again valid point, Butyou got the ugly Dodge. But here's
here's the side note. No Dodgeis ugly. No Dodge is that ugly.
(01:19:18):
So I saw one roll around today, yellow dart with a tonne ram
on it. Still cool car,it ain't. It ain't the best of
the best. One comes with Dodges. But look it's better than the Ford
what what what? So? No, it is a cool car. And
on top of it, you know, you just get it right. The
(01:19:40):
Dodge darts are really as far asrace car applications go. You see a
lot of them there because they're solight. Uh, and they had big
engine bays and get a lot ofengine in there. So that's why a
lot of people did that. However, I don't care what your manufacturer is.
Chevy makes some cool stuff for makesome cool stuff. Dodge makes all
cool stuff. Mo part. Buta guy man having the ability to get
(01:20:01):
out with some buddies and cruising upand down you know your little town,
especially Leveling today. Dude, youstart getting a lot of these things turned
on and rolling up and down thestreet, start bellowing off these buildings.
People come out and start clapping. You know why because it's cool and they
won't do that with a Nissan Rogue. So if you if you're want to
(01:20:25):
get out today, man, Levelandis a great spot to do it.
Some real unbelievable cool cars and it'sall over the place. Like I'm just
on Fourth in Cleveland. But assin as I wrap up the show today,
I'm going up to see a seventycharger that was over here just on
Fifth Street, and I guess there'sall kinds of parking lines up and jamming
up. It's dog friendly. There'sabout fifteen dogs in front of me right
(01:20:45):
now, and ironically all of themare in line to pee on the Mustang.
All right, that may have beenexaggeration. I probably was. I
probably was stretching the truth there. But if you want to come out and
bring your hot ride, your moundomuscle, your bike, your truck,
today will be great day to doit. Stop by, say hello,
to us while we're here. Graceupon Grace project, really cool project,
(01:21:05):
and maybe if I got time,I can get her get her over here.
Hey, uh yeah, I'm gonnatry to get one of the Grace
Upunk Grace people over here and justask a little bit about what they do.
Maybe if you're unable to get heretoday, maybe you can find it
in your heart to help out oneof the individuals that they are they have
(01:21:27):
focused on. So, hey, yeah, how about over here? I
just want to ask a couple ofquestions about where people go to website.
Oh look at man, Clint's droppingsome money in there. My man,
that's awesome. Uh hi Jessica,Yes, all right, Jessica, thanks
for having a name tag on.Thanks for coming on real fast. I
want to give you a second.Just tell us about Grace upon Grace.
(01:21:47):
Obviously some guys bringing diapers, helpingout diaper bags, anything when it comes
to personal items, that's what youreally got to think about. So what
how did you guys start with Graceupon Grace? How to start a Grace
upon Grace non for profit organization. We've been running since twenty nineteen. Our
founder Emiline Jorgensen saw a need inthe community people on you know, diapers,
(01:22:09):
wipes, baby products, period products. The need is just create.
These items are extremely expensive and youknow, if you have an infant a
toddler, you're going through multiple diapersin a day. So it's just a
need. We're trying to fill thatgap for an OAR. Okay, well,
it's great to carl enthusiasts. Hotride people would be able to help
(01:22:30):
with the cause. Look, Iwill tell you nothing's cooler than working on
your car with your son, rightor your daughter or your daughter, Yeah,
thank you. Nothing's cooler than beingable to share those memories behind a
wheel. Like when I'm driving myson or my daughter. It doesn't matter
what I'm in, but I'm justdriving them on. You know, I
could be out back just making circles, or in my little dirt row subdivision.
(01:22:53):
I gotta tell you, man, that's the funnest thing. I used
to take so Utana when she wouldn'tbe able to sleep when she was teething.
I would take her in my sixtyseven Camaro and I would take her
round my little dirt road and subdivision. I remember a couple times it
was snowing. We would just beout doing donuts and she'd just be giggling
and giggling and giggling. Uh.Look at it's a great way to connect
up, make a bond. Butwhen you're sharing memories, when you turning
(01:23:16):
riches with your kids, that's corememories. Man, that's what they're gonna
remember. You know, my daddid this with me, or my dad
was able to show me this orteach me that. Maybe you're passing a
car down. Nothing's cooler than beable to give your son or your daughter,
you know, your hot rod. That's my goal in life to be
able to pass down one of theseold crazy gas power bohemos under their world
(01:23:40):
and lives. So think about that, man, think about think about the
other end of the spectrum, righton a toddler who's two or three,
and the parents can't afford diapers, can't afford whites, can't afford those essentials
that make everyday life. And youknow, most of our parents' worlds,
or you know, as a parent, our world's a little easier. If
(01:24:03):
you didn't have the money to getthose or find those resources, man,
that'd be hurtful. You tell mehow that would make you feel. So
obviously, the services are provided. Not only is it great for you know,
the community, the people, thedeffects, but imagine the relief you're
giving to the parents and they don'thave to worry about spending you know,
(01:24:25):
the box of diapers is fifty bucksnow, it's crazy, So you don't
have to spend money in that. You spend money on food. So it's
a big time help. And youknow me, man, I like to
help out anything that makes the impacton community, especially for people that are
the innocent ones. And these kiddosreally are the innocent ones. So if
you could find it in your heartmake a donation, come through and just
(01:24:46):
drop off some diapers, some wives, any sort of personal items, man,
it would be very well received andvery valued in the hearts of the
people on the other end. Graceupon Grace project, you can find it
online, I'm sure out of gracepundgraceprojectdot org, so you can link on
our website. All the information fordonating is there. You can drop off
products right here at the table,or we can do cash donations you know
(01:25:10):
via Venmo, PayPal, all thoseis there a place to pay on there
all the website, yeah, allthe inforation is there and we're always looking
for volunteers. So if you areinterested in volunteering, place there to find
that information to come out and help. There you go Grace upon Grace project
dot org if you listen right now. Can't make it up today, but
find it in your heart. You'repassion enough about it to donate. Does
(01:25:30):
that matter if it's two bucks, five bucks, ten bucks or more.
Believe me running on profit myself.Everypenny helps, it really does, man,
every every penny held. So whetherit's small donation, a little donation,
or a big donation. If youcan go to Grace upon graceproject dot
org stop by leveland today. Anotherway to do it you can go down
to the Foundry, which is reallycool. They got bands on stage all
(01:25:54):
day, you order food and drinks. You could you could round up and
donate money there to the Grace uponGrace project, or just show up here
and hand over a little cash.Man, cash is always king. It
goes a long way. So thanksfor your time, Jessica, I appreciate
it. And cool. Some carguys can come out with tattoos, sleeves
and black t shirts and hand overdiapers because that's cool. Man, so
(01:26:19):
really cool. Man. If you'readding about again today, here's how to
basically get here. Think downtown Levin. You got Cleveland going one way,
Lincoln going the opposite direction. Inbetween Cleveland and Lincoln are all kinds of
number streets three, fourth, fifth, six, alling up the runt,
the run, and all the adjacentparking lots all get stuff full cars right
(01:26:40):
now, so coming out, man, people are packing and joining the rides
of the cars. And I don'tknow when do we get do an official
lap? Want to get like firethem off and everybody go cruising all the
other parking lots, because that's whatI'm down for. Uh, that's what
I want. Let's roll it outand make some noise. We're gonna be
here for a little while longer.I play on standing through that a little
bit today. I think the kiddosare coming up so they can go pet
(01:27:02):
a baby cow. But a shoutout to all the guys who brought the
cars out. Shout out to roadNights. Road Nights is a great if
you're looking for car clubs, theseguys are great, man. They organized
some really really cool events all upand down the front range. You got
another one coming up August sixteenth,no is eighteenth up to the Budweiser Vincenter
(01:27:24):
now Blue Arena. I want tobring your attention to a couple other ones.

on that. And the twelfth AnnualAll Educational Scholarship Car Show. That's gonna

(01:27:47):

a lot of noise, come onout and hit the streets. We're not
ready to wrap up here. Scoopwhat he got planned for the weekend.
Hey, and you used to knowsomething, Scoop. By the way,
we were talking about the other day, Scoop, have you ever thought about
(01:28:34):
so me and my boys Tommy Danny. I got some old school wrenches somebody
really like turn the sentry wrenches, and I want to put them up the
side of my wall on the backpatio. But I want to connect them
using bolts like fastenings, like thenut and bolt sort of head like the
wrench will be taking a bolt off. But Scoop could three D print stuff
(01:28:55):
like this with this little three Dprinty business. Sure, so I'm gonna
I'm I'm gonna hire him to dothat. But if you guys need like
personal items plackers. We had Kelseycook in yesterday and she was blown away
at the medallion that Scoop made forSo you need medallions. Maybe got a
graduating class person this year class twentyfour, Uh, maybe looking for something
(01:29:17):
personalized. He made really cool licensedto plate tags for Presley and Presley's sister
Charlie that were a big hit.So anything like that Scoop could make.
So Scoop tell him your store andhow to find that real fast. Uh
scoop scoops dot com. It's anEtsy store, but you can send me
messages through there and we'll get youwhatever you need hooked up all right,
and people can give you dimensions andyou can just printed up on your three

on that. You should see whathe's doing on his YouTube pages. He

know he's coming a long way onthat thing. So that thing is picking
up steam. Maybe we'll talk withhim and next week or so for a

Man, got it out. It'scrazy on the streets right now. So
if you're out and about today,no warm weather's gonna have the bikes out.
(01:30:23):
A lot of people just haven't beena customers seeing bikes out on the
road for the last couple of months. So bikes are doing a lot of
different things. Now they're able tosplit lanes. That's gonna freak a lot
of people out. Just know it'ssome new rules, the new laws,
and there's bikes out there this weekendin big time fashion, So keep your
